He tries to bridge SG and Korea culture and that’s part of giving back to society that gives him opportunities. Such a wonderful human being!
Agreed
Glad a foreigner chose to become a true Singaporean instead of for pure economic reason alone. We welcome those who love Singapore & will stand with Singapore.
I love his contents on social media. So happy he is representing Singapore in dance competitions, and trying to bridge the Korean and Singaporean cultures.
Yes very Singaporean, - these are the types we accept in this country. Kyung must give Singapore more children like him.
What a cheerful and adorable character. I have seen Kyung's tiktok videos and I am not surprised that his videos will be popular. He brings joy to people.
You do good Kyung. Bravo. Glad that your family & you call Singapore home. Keep flying the Singapore flag in your dance tourney. Singapore Unites 🇸🇬
Awwww... Kyung ah!!! Thank you for sharing the world about Singapore culture and our uniquely Singlish. Teehee~ We are proud to have u as part of our Singaporean family. Keep it up doing what u love to do and spreading a positive content!🥰
Singakorean.. like awesome passion and ❤ from Kyung.. jia you and happily ever after
The way he relates his experience growing up in Spore is so funny and interesting!!!
He's more Singaporean than Korean. Great video. Look forward to your next.
I concur.
That's normal bc he grew up in Singapore.
@@claylover9845 True, but he adapted really well as he still maintains his Korean culture like someone raised in Korea.
Happy for you kyung! Because this sudden circumstances, you adapted well in Singapore yet staying rooted to Korean culture. 💪🏻 Though it feels unreal to see you looking serious in an interview hahaha but steady leh you can shift between Singlish, Mandarin & Korean like no issue at all 👏🏻👏🏻 salute your ability. Thanks for sharing your life story with us, being honest and genuine. Hope you continue to create fun contents and don't stop making Ur audience laugh! 🤣😂
Kyung, What a beautiful letter you wrote to your parents. ❤️❤️
Your parents were awesome - as are you, as a son.
Kyung's father is also a Korean 선생님 (teacher) in Singapore.
Thank you Kyung for your contribution towards Singapore and be a Singaporean.
I like that term … SingaKorean 😊
First 2 minutes was hilarious! Good to see Kyung featured here!
what a good son...and a good Singaporean..
oh i love this video hearing more about you!!! Kyung, i love your videos on social media! They're short and so entertaining! You were so wise to listen to your girlfriend and she's the ultimate superstar!!
Indeed she is the ultimate superstar!! ☺️
we welcome foreigners like this, not the ones who come here purely for currency exchange
He’s Singaporean already.. so don’t call him foreigner.
Hey Bro.... welcome to Singapore. U r simply awesome trying to bridge both Singapore n South Korea together. Keep up the good work.Greeting from a Singaporean. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Lol he's practically sgrean though. Before nursery alr in sg, then went on to jc and nus
Welcome to SG bro!
Thank you!
i love your letter to your parents
I came upon his TikTok video, quite funny
At first thought he was a Singaporean fluent in Korean. 😅
Support your decision to teach the next generation all 3 languages, else it will be lost! Your mom did a great job speaking only Korean at home. Singaporeans are not as cultural-minded and we have lost our dialects which is really a pity. And even Mandarin is taking a back seat.
MY friends went for his lessons. His lessons is alway flooded with alot of students. But feedback is that the way he teach is too Singlish/ English-> Korea translative systematic style because he stayed in SG since young.
I love his tiktok videos ❤
It's so Singaporean coded when he said "He was an architect, working under Hyundai (Hyun-die).."
But you know he's Korean when he said "or [rather] Hyundai (Hyun-dae)"
The true pronunciation 😎
Oh hey kyung 나이스 투 미트 유 🤜🤛
haha i find it fun when i go preschool to teach and then you see some kids dont look local and then you discovered they are korean. whether in kindergarten or elementary, korean children seemed to be a bit more reserved or shy(tho not with their own circle of friend who is also korean). they shud really mingle carefreely instead of being too timid with ppl approaching them. haha
Am so proud of my 선생님 😊 화이팅!
Bravo Kyung👏👏👍👍 . Yes one should take pride in your ethnic culture and keep it going. As u are tri-lingual (English, Mandarin, Korean) how about doing a fun TikTok clip infusing Korean words into Singlish & make it “SingKorglish” ? Who knows, it may be picked up by the Singaporean-Korean community😊
You speak fluent English better than most Koreans
❤❤❤
Interesting Kyung!!
Such an interesting story!!!! I wonder if he would choose a Korean wife or a Singaporean wife???
👍❤❤❤❤😁
Looooooooooooooooove❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Please influence more Korean to come work in Singapore 🤞
Do you find yourself picking up Singapore-accented English, but not ‘strong-enough’ Singlish ?
His English is singlish 😂
As someone from Singapore, my English isn't as good as his.
Wait. He's rrly a Korean? Jinjja? I thought he's a Chinese Sporean who just spoke rrly good Korean. I've never seen a Korean to be so local.
he said in the video they migrated to SG when he was 3yo
My Korean teacher ❤
Oh mine.. You speak like a local.. Hehe.. Welcome to SG la Kyung Hoon..
