I think you MAY have a point there about the IMPORTANCE of WINNING games. If the team could pull TOGETHER and finish the SEASON strong, they would have a CHANCE to DANCE.
Checked this score before and was surprised to see Wisconsin blowing out Nebraska at home I didn’t see the score again until I got a notification from ESPN saying Nebraska won by 8 in OT…safe to say I was surprised

Nice win, but I worry nobody will take nebraska seriously until they win at least 1 on the road. Multiple times this year nebraska would have been ranked if they just beat a middle of the road team like rutgers on the road. But they drop those games and they are always right before the rankings come out lol.
I was thinking the Huskers just kept chipping away at the lead through the end of the game - but that wasn't The Huskers outscored the Badgers 20-3 over a 5 1/2 minute span 16:19 to 10:49 in the 2nd half. After that point the teams played very evenly - until overtime.

I thought these kind of games were done under the GREG GARD regime. We finally got away from the idea that “defense wins championships” and a slow 2 point half court offense…that always produces pathetic scoring droughts you should only see in JV girls games. Droughts like tonight that are nearly 3/4 of a half. Unfortunately this is not the case and will be the reason GARD will not get a contract extension and more unfortunate, never produce a NCAA championship.

As an MU alum I am really saddened. When there is an instate game against MU I always root against the Badgers. Out of state games I am always for the Badgers. What happened? Was this a trap game? You will avenge this lost when Purdue comes to town. We must keep this going to have MU, Badgers and hopefully UWM all in the Big Dance as high seeds. I love the Badgers. My niece is in school there now and she loves it too.
