I suggest changing trim to start and end to G&H which is not used for any other shortcut or hot key. QW are already used for other things.. Also changing the B key to blade cut is very handy..
I made all my videos by learning from you.I have used your learning in my video, thanks a lot for amazing tutorial.❤ Love From Nainital (India) . 🙏 Namaste 🙏
Just read this comment and then watched you video A beautiful day of life, its really nice but I do think that to many pans left to right then right to left, I think it was on this channel that Steve said not to do to many different directions of panning, I may be wrong. Nice video tho well shot. I see you are from India is that India where you made that video as looks beautiful would love to visit that location. have subbed to your channel anyway as you deserve it just on your efforts of the videos ste
Hey @callofangels7, some of these features can be found in your editing software (depending on the editing software). If not, there are many places where you can get digital assets for your videos. Be sure to check out Motion Array-you can sign up for free with limited access, but hopefully, you'll find what you need here: bit.ly/MotionArrayLearnOnlineVideo Happy editing! Thanks, Steve :-)
I like the motion effects, I’m always thrilled to see you’ve posted a new video. I’ve made many videos so far for Regis University nursing department disaster drills - stock videos for the emergency vehicles and staff, a Tesla video, and Mona’s Granola. I use Epidemic sound and now will look at Motion Array. Thanks, your my teacher 🎉
Hey @1monagale Thanks so much for your kind words! I'm thrilled to hear you enjoy the motion effects and that you're finding the videos helpful. It sounds like you've been working on some really interesting projects! Epidemic Sound is great, and I'm sure you'll find Motion Array super useful too. Keep up the fantastic work 🎉 Thanks for watching and supporting the channel!
Thanks. I know shortcuts aren’t the most exciting thing in the world but they truly make a massive difference when editing over long periods of time. I’ve genuinely saved months of unnecessary editing with just these two shortcuts 💻👌
I'm learning so much through you I wish 1 day I meet you and do one job I learn film making by phone I've been your student I'll do a lot more work and I'll share with you so I can be better thanx brother
Watching your videos and learning from them has really helped me improve my filming skills. I'm now at 1.7k subscribers, thanks to your inspiration. Keep up the amazing work!"
Keyboard Shortcuts QWE are even more productive. Q - trim forward - W straight cut - E trim to the end Why, because you might need two or more pieces from a clip - so you don´t have to insert it again, just cut, move forward, Q again and so on
Hey @rankingacademy Motion Array assets (like templates, stock footage, music) can be used in CapCut by downloading them from Motion Array's website and importing them into your CapCut projects. Direct integration within the CapCut app is not available. I use Final Cut Pro with no direct integration but still find it very useful for video projects. Hope this helps.
As a designer for print I have always used stock images to supplement the production, but as an amateur videographer I really cant afford the plethora of resources needed to do this with video, with sound, music and video clips, transitions etc and the monthly subscriptions this mounts up and becomes prohibitive as a start up. Working for companies in the past this was not a problem as I would just say "Make it so" but as an individual this is not the case.
Hi @TrogART , Thanks for your comment. You're right, monthly subscriptions can definitely add up. As someone who runs a video business, I have countless subscriptions myself-accounting software, website hosting, and many more. I only subscribe to something if it saves me time and money or is an essential part of running the business. Having access to a huge amount of digital assets is definitely something that saves me a lot of time and money, so for me, it's a no-brainer. However, I would only ever recommend a subscription to someone who would benefit from it. Most subscription services offer a free trial, so I usually sign up to test them out. If they prove useful, I keep them; if not, I cancel :-) Hope this helps, and thanks for watching! All the Best, Steve
Overlays are interesting to use. However, with the rain overlay, it's better to wet the face of the person being filmed, otherwise it's a bit weird to have a dry face in the pouring rain! Thanks for all these tips and thanks for sharing. 😎
Fair point! There's definitely room for improvement with the rain shot. Hopefully, it still gives you some good ideas for other ways overlays can be used in your videos. Thanks for your feedback and for watching! 😎
To pay for stock footage, sounds, and other transforming video tools is not a problem, but access for payment is a big deal. Steve, can we have some transforming video tools without copyright issues
If you're looking for the best free video editing software for beginners, here are some great options: 1. **DaVinci Resolve** 2. **HitFilm Express** 3. **CapCut** These should help you get started with your video editing projects! I personally use Final Cut Pro but this cost $300, when first stating out I would recommend using free software📱💻👍
Steve, hi brother, I am from India. Please let me know which editing apps you are using, is this app's free. Please let me know a free app which I can install in my laptop, because I am a beginner.
Hey @manishnikam7303 I use Final Cut Pro since I've been using it for over 10 years and know it inside out. The downside is that it costs $300 and is only available on MAC. For a great free option, DaVinci Resolve is perfect for beginners. If DaVinci doesn’t work for you, give CapCut a try. Hope this helps!

This is awsome but you would need some kind of subscription to get all those cool features right? Or are they built into your editing software?
