That thing is a CONCEPT that manifest itself into a human forms.
What concept? Concept of FINALITY/ENDS where:
Everything that has beginning, must have an end.
You want to beat him? You must not have a BEGINNING (like birth). No matter how strong you are, how thicc your plot armor is, or how busted your isekai cheats are, as long as you have some sort of beginning, he can erased you from existence. Not even going back to the past can save you.

Although I don't know how the end will end because the battle between them is beyond incomprehensible. It is definite that Yogiri will lose but how will he lose is something which can only be just said. For example, if a character made to represent truth and described as having no beginning and no end and even beyond these things beyond everything including itself!!! then it will defeat Yogiri Takatou. But not only it is impossible to make such a character but it is stupid to even think of making it because you are describing something which cannot be described. Such a feat can only be defined or written in words but cannot be shown because it is literally impossible to show something which is even beyond incomprehensible. Even writing such feats is not enough as in the end the character is already beyond description itself. But for convenience and not to burst our brains I said that we can only write these feats even though it can never be enough.
Truth is beyond everything including itself. Its name was given by humans. It can't be described by its name. It was, it is and it will always be before the beginning and after the end. It's name doesn't even matter in the first place. It will always be even if it's name doesn't exist (this feat can't be comprehended by us.) Such feats are enough to know that truth is the only thing in both Fiction and Reality that is beyond everything including itself and is the highest and even beyond that there can be.
Even so these feats are not enough to even describe it. It is beyond even these feats ITSELF!!!!!
Also, even if Yogiri can end something which has no beginning even then it can never end truth itself for truth is beyond any description and everything including itself. It is beyond incomprehensibleness.

Technically, as avid fans of this series.
There is only two instance Yogiri can die.
1). His human avatar vessel will eventually die every 100 years, however, it will create/reincarnate a new one. But hey, he died, right?
2). When he volunteerily seal himself. In the first episode, Yogiri can easily die to the Wyvern, but then Tomochika boobs makes him unseal himself and now she indirectly doomed everyone in the multiverse.

There's no point in pitting anybody against him other than entertaining the possibility. Nobody can beat Yogiri Takatou. A couple of them could come close on paper but in practice instant death is all that awaits them 😂
Not only that, but any Death Battle matchup with Yogiri would be anticlimactically boring due to his ability to invoke The End being instant. No flashy moves or buildup, just instant death as soon as they directly any lethal intent at the guy.

I do feel like yogiri can kill without "threat" or "bloodlust" towards him. This is just my opinion, but I do feel like those words is just a limit/seal he place on himself so that he would not be unfair and abuse his power.
You are correct. There are 64 seals on him at the beginning and he only released about, 4?
Reason? Because if he woke up in the morning and the sun annoyed him he could kill it without caring, so the seals remain in place to prevent that. But he can very easily remove them

The writer can kill him. More over The One Above All, Sun wukong light novel solo him. Though every fiction has a end so he has end too end the end he is a fiction too. Character who represent Non fiction character can solo him. Mythology can also defeat him because Mythology will exist longer than fiction. He can solo fiction in his own verse in the same way I can solo him by burning his manga world on my hands. Making each manga volume of his manga in our world a different universe exactly like the only one he can solo.
This is literally another example of the end results of people always trying to one - up each other, like in the old Marvel/DC comics. you end up with characters with completely broken abilities. "oh your guy can destroy a whole galaxy, my guys can destroy a whole universe". "oh your guy can destroy a whole universe, well my guy can destroy the whole multi-verse". "oh your guys can destroy the whole multi-verse, my guy can instant - kill anything that has ever lived or ever will live". It gets to the point where the story becomes stale cause the characters end up crazy over powered, and conflict doesn't matter cause you know the good guy will always win.
And that was literally the concept behind the creation of this character.

His true form is Eldricth Horror SCP. He is THE END. Yogiri is the alpha and omega. He is bound all to beginnings and ends. He has the most powerful ability of the fiction-Text manipulation(He can change the story like The Writer). I know this sounds like a wild card answer, but I do believe a character that we havent seen yet in a different manga might be a good contender, simply based on how things work in that universe. The Death Devil from Chainsaw man, the Devils themselves are living concepts like Yogiri. As long as that concept exists that Devil exists, its avatar might "die" but it will just spawn a new one. The reason for this being a wild card contender even if we have yet to see them is that, by the very nature of Yogiris power the Death Devil will never cease to exist. Though Id honestly call the outcome to become a never ending stalemate.

Even beings without the concept of death still "die" to Yogiri's ability. What some argue is that rather than simply death, Yogiri's ability just ends whatever he uses it on.
The end of all thing 💀
What if the character that fights him is someone who is also existed before time and will exist after everything ended. Yogiri cannot bring end to a being that is also similar to him.
What you referring is more of an 'eternal' beings. It's true yogiri hax is broken, but there is super few and effective ways to counter it.
My three effective ways to counter yogiri:
1. Eternal Beings. Beings at this scale are truly eternal, they don't have 'beginning' nor 'end', hence, the end won't apply to them as they don't have both prologue or epilogue, as they always existed as always and literally.
2. Something like Absolute Or Omni Negation as a passive skill, ability, power or anything acts (basically unrestricted, broken, and passive power of touma imaginary breaker). Making them automatically negate and nullify absolutely any/all concepts, powers, universal definitions, laws, boundaries, logic, etc. on any/all levels, making them immune to anything and everything.
3. Absolute Immortality. Not physically, spiritually, existentially, conceptually, nor metaphysically. Heck even, pataphysical is no exception. Something lilith from world of darkness, who possesses immortality SO ABSOLUTE THAT SHE CAN COME BACK FROM THE ERASURE OF THE PLOT, CONCEPTS, PLATONIC CONCEPTS, ERASURE OF HER "SONG", PHILOSOPHY, MATHEMATICAL CONCEPT, HER MIND, HER SOUL, ERASURE FROM EVERY DIMENSION AND ERASURE FROM ALL TIME AND SPACE.

@haracter29 technically, still wont work. Fist is Yogiri's end is irreversible and limitless so it doesn't even if you are a higher being. He is absolute. 2nd. He decides what death is so regardless if you are no beginning, but he can decide how you are going to end. 3rd. There is no such thing as absolute immortality, immunity or resistance against him. If he "ends" you, that's it.

No character including the End will be able to do anything to it.

Also, such a character is nearly impossible to be made because the author wouldn't know how to describe it. Otherwise if its somehow made then by default it is the strongest character surpassing everyone and everything including itself in all aspects.

I have a character who has absolute existence. Even if he dies, he lives. So he dies from this kid's ability, but then brings himself right back into existence. Or he could have his own instant ability that reflects abilities that are used on him, so the instant death ability gets reflected back on Yogiri and kills him. Both of these abilities would be good to have together.
Instant death cannot be reflected or negated tho. Even plot manipulation doesn't affect him.
To respond about your character: he being the very avatar of the existence is their big flaw, cause all that exist can end. Even if they don't disappear they will be dying and re living the moment for eternity, so in a way they will indeed stop living.

@@genostellar that is why Yogiri's not an ability. He is the end itself. The end of all and existed before anything even before time. So in that sense your character won't die but will be locked in an infinite loop of disconnection and re living in the plane of existence. Yogiri can "kill" on a conceptual level and he isn't bound to any plot you can come up with. These are two of the reasons why no character up to this day can actually beat him.
P.d. about Popeye, cartoon force wouldn't even work on him because he can kill on a conceptual level as I said before. So for example he can "kill the effect of cartoon force on reality" around him or an area including the one he is in.

And no, Popeye would work on him because no matter what he did, Popeye would just eat his spinach, even if he killed everything about Popeye, he would still be able to eat his spinach because Popeye has no limitations. Then he would come back and the death effect would simply not work on him because he ate his spinach. He would then punch Yogiri with enough force to turn him into a baby or into a pile of bacon or even into more spinach for himself because that's what Popeye does. He has no limits. He has even drawn himself back into existence and punched his own animator and easily resisted god ending the universe and punched god. He is unstoppable.

The problem with having unbeatable character in fiction is that, there is infinite possibilites. Who knows someone might even make character that's even more broken. Or it might even exist already, multiple of them even.
