I have an RB60 IMO it’s the best of the budget spreaders. When I have spread lime I have had occasional particles get caught between the 2 plates causing the gate to stick open. When I get fed up with the RB60 I will buy a Lesco. The nice thing about the Lesco all parts are easily purchased from a Site One
Not sure if it was an accident or intentional but you *completely* ignored the *huge* orange dial on the Scotts spreader. The setting of this dial controls how far the latch opens the spreader controller. It’s the equivalent of the slide lever on the back underside of the Echo.
I bought this spreader last Fall. What a mistake that was! For the life of me, it is absolutely useless. Grit is constantly getting stuck between the spreader plates. Constantly. I can't do two rows without a complete misfire. And Echo customer service is worthless. I highly recommend users to look elsewhere for another model that doesn't use this design. Outrageous that this device can be manufactured and distributed with such a serious design flaw.

This is what I wanted to see! Echo!
Why can’t companies figure out how to make adjustable handle lengths????? I’m a tall guy and have yet to find a spreader that’s comfortable.
Have you tried the Spyker or Lesco? I'm 6'1" and those 2 spreaders are supposed to have adjustable handle heights.
Id buy an echo for $99 but 149...nah... just gotta made my $42 scott spreader work
