I was in the Cotswolds with my father in 2008. There I bought a Panther M100 with Watsonian GP. We restored them together. And last weekend I drove around the countryside with my 85 year old mother in the sidecar for 2 hours - much to her delight.
In 1968 I traded my green 68 Triumph Trophy 500 (and a few bucks) for a candy apple red Matchless G 15 Mk 2 750 with that exact same Monza sidecar except it had a nicer shaped tan seat and a convertible top. These are 2 bikes I wish I still had. The Matchless was very fast even with the sidecar and the Triumph was very agile and the parallel upswept pipes gave it a distinct look. I hope Watsonians are still made in the U.K.
If you look at the spec sheet for the new BSA Gold 650 you find it has good low end torque at just 1,800 rpm so it's a good sidecar tug. I'm sure you'll get lot's of customers beating down your door for matching sidecars for those new BSA motorcycles.
I've always loved the combination of 50's style BMWs and Stiebe sidecars. The first time I laid eyes on the new R18 Classic I imagined it with a 'car like that zeppelin styled one that you have attached to the Enfield. Can the R18 frame take a sidecar?

I've put 100K miles on a Watsonian Cambridge, including a 10K mile trip to Alaska an it was 10 years old when i go it! They are really good.
Glad to see sidecars are still around. Used to watch them race at Mallory Park when I was stationed in the military in the UK.
NICE WORK...ON THE R.E. 650...ANY PLANS FOR A " TRAILER?"....SAME FOR THE HONDA 1100?
Excellent video thanks

I wonder what these sidecars run, can't find prices anywhere. I'm guessing they are not cheap, lol.
