Let’s chat on the forum at forum.dronebotworkshop.com
Here is a selection of 11 projects and tutorials that I created in 2019, there should be something for everyone here.
There are lessons on to making things move, big things and small things.
There are projects to build power supplies to power up your experiments.
There are tutorials on using displays and building dynamic user interfaces.
I looked at a really intelligent microcomputer (I think it’s smarter than I am).
Rotary Encoders, Microwave Sensors, and Electronic Levels round things out.
Here is what I cover, including a link to the full videos.

I’ll also let you know what I’m planning for 2020, and tell you about the new way to suggest content so I can make the videos you want to see.
And, finally, I’ll show off the beautiful TH-cam Silver Play Button that you helped me earn - thank you very, very much!
Wishing everyone a happy, healthy and productive New Year!

I'm glad to hear that, I guess I''m my biggest critic. I just feel that if I hadn't been so rushed at time that I might have done a bit better. But it is very nice of you to say, thank you Robin and all the best for a sensational 2020!

@@Dronebotworkshop As a tradesman I can tell you that the better you get, the more critical you become of your own work. That sounds self defeating, and it is: if you concentrate too much on the negativity the internal feedback becomes a virtual ground ~0 volts (op amp reference LOL). You have to balance this by recognising when you do quality work regardless of how adversity makes it difficult or reduces your output. I don't think I've ever seen a video from you that was anything but well thought out and intelligently presented.
If I could humbly add one suggestion for editing? You are far better at this than I am so I can only hope this is taken in the good will that it is intended... Do the jump cuts to the other camera *before* you turn to face that other camera. People are conditioned to see a presenter follow a camera jump a split second after it occurs (ie television mostly), not the other way around. When you turn away from the camera before the cut it's... disconcerting. It makes me wonder if you actually *are* switching camera feeds to one single storage source and the delay is actually video buffering.
I'm wishing you and your family a very happy and prosperous new year!

@@Chrisamic It's actually psychologically measurable that skilled people are more critical of themselves and underestimate their competence. It's known as the Dunning-Kruger Effect, and similarly, unskilled people overestimate their competence along the same curved line. It reinforces the traditional adages of "Ignorance is bliss" or "The more you learn, the less you know." Generally, though, just have more confidence in yourself when you've put so much effort into a project. There is probably someone way less competent doing a worse job and passing it off as equivalent. Cheers.

I like seeing you wearing ground protection. I had 2 HDD drives die pre-maturely under normal conditions, on computers built by a local OEM dealer. I have also know others who have had their various pieces of hardware die also under normal conditions. While in school for Refrigeration I had a classmate who was a supervisor at that Computer store, out of curiosity I asked him if they used any ground protection while building PCs. He didn't even know what a grounding wrist or heel strap was. When I explained he laughed at the idea. I used to build my own PC's with their hardware but the last 2 I had to let them build since they were built on an employee computer financing program. For some reason they also open every OEM product box and static bag to inspect each piece presumably without ground protection, then sell them as new.

The theme music is called "Clear Day" and was composed by a French artist named Benjamin Tissot at bensound.com. I purchased a license to use it without having to give attribution, but I certainly don't mind. The intro is just part of it, but I've occasionally used other parts of it in other videos.
Best to you as well for 2020!

Happy new year, greeting from the UK. May I ask a question here? Firstly, I started learning C a long long time ago in a different galaxy. I have just started, in retirement, to mess with Pi & Arduino. Arduino 'C' seems to be different/supplemented from "standard C++"? As an example I looked up 'pinMode' in my 'O'Reilly Practical C++ Programming by Steve Oualline 1997 edition' but there is no reference to it, so I figured that Arduino had added something to C. Would you care to do an explanatory video on this? Thanks

Happy New Year Bill. Question; at 25:21 you unplugged a single USB cable which you described as your keyboard and mouse. I'm slightly intreagued. Is that a composite device or can a separate keyboard and mouse share the one USB port? I hope that my question is sufficiently clear, but my object is USB port saving - in my case on a Raspberry Pi.
Perhaps this is something that might be addressed as a feature in an upcoming video if it is felt worthy of the wider audience?
    Regards, Ian_

How about an off subject question? I have some led’s that don’t have any info on them. I know you can tell plus and minus but what about voltage and if you need a resistor and what value.

Fortran vs C. In C, this is the start of a new decade. In Fortran its next year.
