fun fact: to protect their identity against being copied, they paint their faces/makeup onto eggs, there's an actually archive of clown eggs that you have to register with to be a real/professional clown, and your makeup can't be a copy of anything there
I saw the title and thought man Sinvicta must have had a great run with Soy Milk. Then you started talking about click bait titles and I started wondering if that was what you were doing but then you had the best run with Soy Milk that I've ever seen.

The algorithm tried so hard, for months, to push this video on me. And you just so happen to talk about it and how powerful it is. I think it wants us to know.
Literally had to pause the video when you got crown of glory because my brain couldn't comprehend how good that run was. Never had a run that good without breaking the game or seeding, including a mega satan keeper run where I was firing 18 mom's knifes at the same time. Great vid

Just wanted to talk about the fear of clowns that you said you didn't understand. Nobody really 'understands' the fear of clowns, or coulrophobia as it's called. It's one of the many named phobia and is classified as an irrational fear. That is to say, the people who feel the extreme fear of clowns don't quite understand it themselves.
A phobia is usually a conditioned trigger in the brain to cause an extreme response of fear. Arachnaphobia is one as well - the irrational fear of spiders. Being scared of spiders or clowns is a way to downplay the extreme fear that people feel when a phobia is involved. It has nothing to do with being scared of them or anything in general. It being irrational means it can't be rationalised. If you ask someone with coulrophobia why they are afraid of clowns, they would most probably not be able to give you a definitive answer. Same with spiders. People will mention the legs or the eyes or the fangs, but rationally speaking, we'd only need to be afraid of poisonous spiders and even then not to the extent that people with arachnaphobia are afraid of spiders.
Just thought I'd let you know, since you seemed to be puzzled on the matter. :)
I think that's a bit superficial. It's probably just deeply instinctual to fear spiders particularly on some level, because some are venomous enough to harm humans (nearly all spiders have SOME kind of venom). Obviously, for some people that can grow to extreme proportions, but nearly all the main phobias are based on realistic threats. Heights, groups of people, snakes, even mice (if you are tolerant of mice living with you, your food will become spoiled with droppings, and diseases like henta virus will spread) are all rationally based, just over-emphasized. I think clowns trigger something like an uncanny valley for certain people, their features and appearance are distorted in a number of ways, and they act loud, surprising, and otherwise unpredictably, this could trigger a deep seated "Stranger" fear, a "madness" fear, or even a "non-human creature" fear.
I didn't even use makeup as a clown (a few shapes drawn on at most) just an average kid wearing somewhat ridiculous clothing, and people were still terrified. I think it's mainly just the association with horror as the context they typically see clowns in.
@@MetalMockingjay it's likely still an offshoot of the uncanny valley effect, where the unnatural, exaggerated movements and their smiles regardless of what tricks they're subjected to triggers the fear response. Not to mention the fact that some clown outfits give them some downright janky movement. That is kinda creepy.
Man Sinvicta if only you knew just how far the mosh pit will come because of this series. I can happily say I have been a member of the mosh pit for over a year now. This channel has grown so much in as long as I have been here.
My first time finding Soy Milk was a run where I also picked up Strange Attractor. I was just starting so I didn't know what either did. I died very fast after that.

The fear of Clowns thing generally occurs at a young age and is mostly due to the way that the make-up, fake nose, and wild hair makes the person look like something that isn't human but is pretending to be one. Essentially, to the developing mind it can make someone seem to be a literal monster. Sometimes the fear sticks and doesn't go away through natural extinction.
I personally don't like clowns. Real clowns anyway. However I love Pennywise and the Killer Klowns from Outer Space. I hate the ones I'm supposed to like and love the ones I'm not XD

Soy Milk's downside of damage penalty is never... REALLY negated, because it's a percentage decrease in your damage, present AND future, so you have to get way more damage-up to get your damage back in place. But also, getting it back to your starting damage is great.

The reason why some people are scared of clowns is because the brain tries to recognise what the creature is but cant figure out what it is even though it looks like us. Therefore, the brain registers it as a threat.

I think soy milk is great if you can get it early on in the game because then everything else from then is an additional increase if you’re willing to commit to it. Plus I’ve had some really great synergies with it that weren’t Libra which lead to some devastating runs and huge tear damage. Really entertaining to watch someone else have fun with it, it doesn’t get enough credit sometimes.

Soy milk is just meant to be combined item. By itself, it's terrible, but used in conjunction with items that don't work off tear damage are where it shines.
it can also be pretty good when combined with piercing shots: the knockback really is the main problem with SM
In my opinion Tech X is the best item in the game. It's so versatile and it solo-carried me through every run I got it in.
On the clown topic:
Some people are afraid of hights, spiders, snakes, dogs, etc.
Dont get people who are afraid of spiders tbh. they dont do anything in most countries ._.
Like, theres a thing for every person that they fear and like spiders, a lot of people are afraid of clowns.
Were they ever assaulted by a spider that lead to that fear? No.
Were people ever assaulted by a clown before fearing them? Probably not.

Actually, I believe your observation of 1 pencil shot per second is correct. At tear delay 1 you fire 15 tears per second (if I'm not mistaken) and pencil activates every 15th shot. The reason it's slightly faster and timing-wise a little sloppy (Drum school NOT passed) is the book wurm, which occasionally drops double shots which also count towards led pencil.
Is it just me or does Dark Judas and Infamy make for a really cool looking character?
I came expecting just a regular cool run of a Soy Milk synergy and I ended up loving the commentary so much more than the video. Great stuff!!
This is why this game is one of my favorite runs like this, been playing it for around 5 years (wrath of the lamb) and i’ve loved it ever since from since i could barley make it past 3rd floor on my laptop

To me magic mush is probably second only to 20/20. It's a permanent tear modifier with no cons whatsoever, unlike triple shot, which comes with a tears down and a spread that makes it hard to hit every shot.
