I guess we will lose out on the shoulder essence slot which isn't so big a deal but then we have to drop all dashes from the build in order to play both windwalk and vortex. Gotta see how it feels!

Rather than squall, breaker is enough skill for dash , why not change squall to stormfury? The additional 40% damage is waste and if you use this it stack with your rolling surf, what do you think?

Paragon changes are good and welcome. Although running dungeons with +12k CR and all stats in h3 is kinda hilarous since CR for it is like 21k. Tempest - not sure, I swapped for like 5 minutes cause I got mad that previous Phantom Market skins are not usable on it. Will test out when I calm down a bit. Overall - good patch, waiting for next difficulties to have something to grind for (I am looking at gear to lv40) so we can use all those farming builds more efficiently.
Hi i know this video is out for a while now. But i just started playing and was following your guide. Question regarding rolling surf i just had it awakened and why doesnt it give me 100% uptime on my rolling surf?
been seeing it in the last 2-3 videos i watched trying to get an idea for the green set pieces i should go for (currently have 4 piece vithus urges 2 piece shal bas (i think)), but, i noticed you said 4 of each... how do i get 4 of each when i only have 2 rings, 1 necklace, 1 glove and 1 foot slot? :/ i also noticed you have 4 weapons, i only have main hand/offhand, how do i get the second pair of weapon slots? :/ no where i can find actually states how to get these extra slots. for reference, i'm paragon level 90
Roiling Burn & Mother Lament Bleed effects will Proc it. Of course there are better and more consistent gem options for this specific build but I'm mainly using what I have ranked up. The main ones I would recommend here are BSJ, Gloom & Bottle Hope. Others are up to the preference/resources of each player. There are many other combinations that would work really well!
Yes, but gloomguide is probably better choice in this build due to all the dashes. shalbas is still a good option though and I'm using it because I have movement and cooldown double rolls on all those items which makes the build super smooth

I also found that I didn't really need the extra damage/aoe of vortex and wanted to move faster with 2 dash skills and 100% surf. In the future this might change as they add new difficulties and we need higher damage!
After Vithu, gloom is probably the best set to use here. I mentioned it in the sets section of the video :) I wasn't using it here because I didn't have gloom pieces with movement speed/cooldown reduction. I have switched to gloom now after crafting some decent pieces but aside from 2pc vithu, the magic attributes are more important than set bonus imo (at least for this build). While farming it's most important to have good uptime and low cooldown on skills, obviously damage is important too but after a certain point you will be 1-shotting the packs anyway
Can't change it unfortunately otherwise rolling surf won't have 100% uptime. Other options will give a lot more damage but this is not needed for open world farming

This new essence gives you a huge AOE range, and combined with the cooling of other parts, allows you to achieve the effect of killing monsters when you pass by them. This effortless and effective approach makes any other combination meaningless. In my language version, this essence says "overflow", and I'm not sure if it's the same in the English version. I highly recommend you try this new serum "Overflow".

The chest essence I'm using is the only essence in the game which gives rolling surf cooldown (3.6%) from and 10% from awakening. It makes reaching the 25% cooldown easier

Hey Mao. Check wind walk shoulder ess. That ess reduces rolling surf CD by 2 sec. In this case we can use vortex.

Welcome to the game! You will unlock the extra slots once you move to paragon 100 and advance difficulty

I have 2 awakened gems how do you get cool down reduction from awakened gems cuz mine dont show cooldown reduction

Another tip is to use the new mainhand essence from Inferno 2 (Skein-Partner) this makes it easier to have 100% uptime
