You can actually kinda use Aether magic. Trista of Bronze, Calvus' weapon's Q skill states that you channel a small amount of Aether magic to do the skill
its probably the weapon itself that stores aether magic bc if not that would mean every warrior build has aether magic

To be fair, it was already stated on the lost magic section in the trello that *more* are expected to be added in the future
however no curses ;-;
@@levie4654 curses are by definition powers that only one person can get, and if they die it's gone. I doubt adding a totally exclusive power that will cause the player to get hunted down by the entire server is a good idea, AR legendary weapon system is proof of this
@@VC_TO yeah but these are not weapons, but curses that are supposed to be one of it's kind, allowing someone to have the same curse as the other wouldn't make much sense

Vetex stated all Lost Magics will be obtainable, but not in Sea Curse forms. Some of them are really really cool.
Imagine how cool it would be if you could upgrade certain magic types into a better version, like making Fire into Inferno, and then to get Prometheus Flame you need to do a ritual with players who all have an awakening and their Flame Magic upgraded, while the target of the ritual doesn't need to upgrade his, instead just needs a class awakening.
That plot twist at the end though 😂

you see his grandfather had the apocalypse curse and bits of it somehow passed down through the family line.
the blueish aftershocks in phase 2 are from the sea curse bits inside him, but calvus does not fundamentally have power over apocalypse curse

@Rehan Choudry yea, those 2 weapons would be too OP for the War Seas, since they came from, well, the 7 Seas in AA
You’ll obtain Aether magic eventually.
You can get it by solving Dark Sea Structure in future, obtaining Lost Magic Scroll.
And learn it of course.
Vetex really mention alot about Dark Sea Structures.

I wonder once lost magics are added which ones you'll be able to use. I also wonder if Aether magic will be useable, I know that storm magic will be.
We will be able to use almost all the lost magics (just speculations) since it makes no sense to add lost magics that players cannot use
@@monsterousreal why would it not make sense? Story-based exclusiveness makes the characters you face feel unique; if you can perfectly replicate iris then what about her is unique compared to you in the story?

Not like Vetex confirmed that we will be able to use flare magic and other lost magics that may appear in the story. **Unlike Sea Curses multiple people can learn lost magics, it wouldn't take away from the existing characters if we happened to learn the same magic. And also your point is slightly invalidated when you go over the dialogue stating that we are an abnormal occurence within their world, that we the player, are in fact special.** It wouldn't ruin the game and if anything it would be even more engaging and help increase the games lifespan.
@@nohobo23 A character aint unique for having unique powers, is more like the way user handles his magic what makes it unique. So yeah, would be a waste making exclusive magics
@@monsterousreal i’m not saying make losts unavailable, i’m simply arguing that certain losts make a lot more sense to keep as story-only while others are worked on to release to the public. Part of what makes iris special to the story is her magic being flare so early in the game, where we can only have base magics atm. Our character being special does not move away from the fact iris also should get to feel special. Imo, what makes the story more interesting is vetex’s attempt to make a trio of unique characters (our unnamed special featurr, a curse user and a lost magic user)

I wonder if lost magics will be obtainable as your 3rd magic.
You can get both second and third magic via awakening, but I think you can replace either of them with lost/ancient magic
Mages can get 1 lost magic and 1 ancient magic along with their starting magic
Now the real question is, can we get Calvus's Grandfathers power?
sadly no, as he had the apocalypse bringer curse, and curses wont be obtainable. altho calvus does have a line about "my grandfather's power" it may just be referring to some kinda aether magic tecnique

I’ll be honest. I don’t think it’s a type of magic per se and more so a curse. I know curses are supposed to make the users immortal but not invulnerable. Our friend took the Death curse obviously and he almost lost to a general with Glass magic (one of the worst Magic’s btw 🤮) and Calvus even described his power as a small portion of what his grandfather was capable of. We know his grandfather had the light curse and absolutely DUNKED on winterviel, and we know curses dictate which kingdom is better. It’s not out of the question that he may have found his grandfathers curse or used the devourer to summon the curse right there when his grandfather died.
Needless to say I don’t think this is an Aether magic as far as I’m aware but hey, that’s just a theory!

and the fact that he says he only has "a portion" of his grandfathers power proves that he doesnt HAVE his grandfathers power
It was apocalypse bringer curse actually not the light one (if it was the light one, it will make no sense how he could evaporate an entire kingdom using a weak curse)

@@Randomness01238 Exploiters in AA were able to use vetex's aether lightning and techlevel80's inferno magic with scripts if i remember correctly.
@@btheflyingxbox The roblox update that broke AA also patched that, exploiter's abilities to do anything mentioned here was long gone years ago
@@presonce exploiters can still tel you everything that exists in the game. Being able to exploit can tell you every item in the game, every magic in the game and every place in the game. It’s what disproves mimihere’s island, phoenix and aether magics being obtainable, and any special super secret drop item
