Perhaps you need to know that in these past few years, you have saved as many humans as dogs. Your family and the entire staff are a ray of sunshine in a rather dismal world right now. Don’t ever question the wonderful work you do. 🐾❣️
So well put. Your "family" has put so many smiles on people's faces, cheered lots of saddened hearts, and brighten many gloomy, lonely days for folks around the world. Thank you for opening your hearts and home with your fans/family. Many God richly and abundantly bless you as you have others.
I binge watched the history of YoYo and Freddo and Shadow today. Needless to say I've been teary eyed almost the entire time even though, at times, I was giggling and laughing at their antics. I am in constant awe of Luke, Sam, the kids, the staff, and especially the three muskateers, Cutie Pie, Joey and Tilly as they have opened their arms, their paws, and their hearts to all of the shelter dogs and puppies who have spent time at the farm. I spend all my time at the Bark Park with my doggy babies praising the videos that originate 'down under' and talking about how amazing Luke is to all the other pawrents. Even as I keyboard this my eyes are misty and the lump in my throat is real. If the Evans clan and their extended family and friends only knew how much they have given so many of us, who have endured the last two years of such a disheveled world, a bright doggie light to focus on. With thanks and much Love.
Tess, you have echoed every bit of what's in my head and heart. Misty eyed all way through. Thank you. Daily prayers for All who are kind to man, bird and beast. The Great GIVER is Watching and Listening. The white Shelter with the half black face is Django's Mum Shall pray to St Francis of Assisi to come to Luke and Sam's Aid. Love from 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
You all mean so much to so many people. I've been reading the comments on this post and they're uplifting, I hope you read them all and feel the love! Peace, love and shine on!
Luke, do not give up hope. Dogs in your care absolutely do wonderful and are like new dogs with respect to their behavior. You give love, along with your training, and they respond to it. Keep up the good work. We believe in you!
Screw the haters. You all have proven over and over what time , hard work and love can do. not for only these rescue dogs. But everyone watching. You all give me hope for a better tomorrow everyday. Watching through teary eyes as I clap and cheer for our furry friends over there on the farm. Thank you. For all you do. Much love and appreciation from New York. ❤️✌🏻🐾
Totally agree with you James re the ‘judgemental’….and I’m so thrilled that ppl like yourself from the other side of the globe tune in, follow and appreciate all that DDFT offer as much as I do from Queensland Australia. 🇦🇺🇺🇸
I watch a few dog behaviour channels but Luke’s interaction with all his dogs just really touches me. The calm, strong but exceptionally loving environment they are in is exactly what any dog needs!
@@violimo I was also thinking that Luke's long experience in the Navy may have built up his natural skills for patience, focus, determination, and stamina. I hate that he had to go through the terrible parts, but oh, how he has transformed all of it into such a wondrous life of helping others! And how lucky the world is that Sam was there to help him through the dark times! I have so much respect and love for them both!🥰🥰
Yes me too @Danika 💜 they make an awesome team. It’s so refreshing to see a couple doing live together happily and supportively. I too thought of the horrible things alike must’ve seen during his tours. Sometimes going through hardships can help you value and appreciate the little things in life. I read the article written last year by the RSL on Luke and the struggles he faced after he left the navy. He pays homage to Sam for her support to help him get through those dark times. They’re both awesome humans - I love them both xxxx
@@Danika_Nadzan Yes, and although I would love to know more about Sam's background, in advertising I believe, come on Sam, spill the beans. That story of when they were courting and Charlie who was Sam's dog had to approve of Luke. When they had a giggle over Joey getting into the driver's seat away from the pups, imagine how much joy and laughter the dogs give them every day. The best thing, Luke is able to not feel is life in the Navy was for naught and he was able to use those skills but in a different way. That's like alchemy.
@@treatlady0073 That was a great article, and I've seen several interviews in which Luke has shared his difficulties and how Sam and the dogs helped him heal. Now he's spreading that healing as much as he can!
Shadow went from 'can not be near another dog' to......Swimming, Running, Eating Pizza, Watching Movies, playing with Friends and being included,,,,,WOW
Yes her chasing game with either Gus or Gilly( not sure which ) is amazing as she tries so hard to keep up with his long legs and diversion tactics ( I think it must be Gus , the hat snatcher) as the hilarious directional changes makes me think it is Gussy Boy) they BOTH LOVE the game so much and it is not the first time they have played the having game out in the open field. 😘🥰🥰🥰😘
@@micheledix2616 Hi, Michele, the hat snatcher is Gilbert aka Gilly😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰. I can neither distinguish one from the other. Gotta take a cue from their collars. Greetings and may you stay ever Blessed. From 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
For a long time now I’ve been in awe of Luke’s love for dogs and his ability to have such huge packs trained to perfection in daycare. Once the routine changed to save and train the shelter dogs on death row, I’ll admit I was concerned…he already had so many responsibilities, add in new baby Wolfric, dozens of puppies, and constant changes for housing, feeding and training…Luke never seems to sleep!! And it also seems like every new rescued dog has been more scary!! But the whole first set were utterly transformed and happily adopted. Now Shadow is the most beautiful, happy girl who will surely soon have her forever home, and in two weeks (!!!) thanks to Luke and Jason’s intense work, Chance, Roscoe, Nevaeh, and Molly are already different dogs compared to the dangerous, abused creatures they were upon arrival!! I admire you too, Sam, and all the staff members for working so hard in such challenging times and through all the painful moments, your resilience and positive responses are so inspiring. (For anyone who hasn’t joined DDFT supporters, I encourage you to contribute and watch every training video to understand the methods of training and the incredible strength, patience, courage and wisdom that goes into this work). I hope that at some point soon life will get easier for all of you, Luke and Sam et al. You bring such joy to people all over the globe and to me your family is illustrative of what our world desperately needs! Keep up your incredible work, Luke, but truly treat yourself as carefully as you do your human and canine families. Thank you, much love, constant encouragement and support. ❤️❤️❤️
🐾🐾 Luke & Sam, you’re engaged in a difficult balance right now and there may come a day that you’ll have to make a decision regarding your limit - I’m confident this community, as happy as we are to watch your efforts, will rally around both of you with the love and support we do when you say, yes. I, personally, heal witnessing your love, kindness and nonjudgmental approach to showing the dogs a different kind of life. I gain so much from observing and learning from you - it’s the best part of my days. I trust you gain a lot from earning a dog’s trust and them having the desire to be good dogs. As well as playing with any and all dogs that cross your path. You’re carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, however, we know you and your family needs to be the priority. I thank you with all my heart for the time and effort you put in to not only caring for the dogs but also for the big effort required to bring your work into our homes. 💕💕💕 🐾🐾
First off, Luke, never question yourself. Just look at what you and Jason have accomplished. Four dogs came to the farm with no social skills except for knowledge on how to harm. In a short span of time, these dogs can be in the same area, and, yes with muzzles, be able to listen an comprehend. They are learning that humans can be good to and for them. Molly, that smile and her response to you speaks volumes. Yes, it is very intense for them and for you. Be with your family, love them. Laugh with them. Their warmth will make the hard days better. I and the extended DDFT family out here, all over the planet, has faith and a huge amount of love and respect for all that you and Sam do. And Sam, for all you do, we love and respect you also. Love and hugs 💕🐾🐾💕
Just like I commented on Facebook, we, your faithful followers, have your backs 1,000,000%. What you, Luke, Jason and everybody else at DDFT does for all the dogs, not only your own personal dogs, but the rescue puppies, the pregnant females coming in, and the ones on death row. You give them the chance they would never have gotten otherwise and that should make you hold your heads extremely high, puff your chest out with pride because what you do is absolutely amazing and incredible! Not all of us are members of the training side of your portfolio, so those videos that we get to see here, are simply amazing. And I’m sure that like myself, many others know that there is a lot of behind-the-scenes work and training going on that we don’t see on a daily basis, but we do see in these other videos that you post. The dedication, commitment and ethics that go into everything that is done, sets you apart and very high above the rest. Chins up, chests puffed, pat yourselves on the back a whole bunch of times and be excessively proud of everything that is accomplished❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful ! Every single word hits home coz it's 24karat genuine. Deeply moved. Thank you, Lynn. Foreign donations from my nation are not permissible, not even paltry $5 to Hope for Paws. I can't possibly think why you would doubt yourselves for even one minute, you've got this. You Sam and Luke have shown all of us your commitments to these dogs time and time again and beside you wouln't have it any other ways. you are both such caring and amazing human beings. 💖
English is not my first language so it is a bit difficult for me to express how much I admire your work, commitment and your skills with the dogs. I believe that there isn't more one can do about the damage that has been done to the dogs. Being with you under your guidance is the best chance they have to be socialised and getting to live a happy dog life. If anyone can help them it's you. Keep going and stay positive. I am sending you my positive energy and my love to you all ❤️❤️❤️
Luke, Sam and all the DDFT team, you always go above and beyond for ALL the dogs on the farm. The countless hours of dedication in undoing what others have failed to do with these shelter dogs is amazing. Seeing shadow on her initial video and watching her play with her new friends was beyond belief. THANKS for all the hard work you do!
Luke you and your staff have worked hard to get these four shelter pups a chance at getting a forever home. In two weeks you have them going for a run. Just imagine what the next week will bring. Shadow is a shining example of the hours spent to getting her ready for her forever home. Thank you Luke. Special Thank you Sam, Ellie, Evie and Wolf for giving up family time for dad to do what he loves. I love this pack of Evans and their pack of pups! Stay well, stay safe, God Bless❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤
You guys are ‘the gift that keeps on giving’. To your own dogs, other peoples dogs, and damaged dogs...plus all of us strangers who have been blessed by your generosity in sharing your adventures with us. Happy times and hard times! Thank you 🙏
The work you do is an inspiration to many and reminds me (and I’m sure to many others out there), that love, time and commitment can make all the difference in changing a life. I too, have adopted a rescue dog a year ago and we were so overwhelmed at first. He was filled w anxiety, barks at everything and everyone under the sun, was not socialised and u name it😓. Luckily Covid provided us the luxury of working from home and it meant we could work with him everyday. We hired a trainer but he was no help. At the end I resorted to TH-cam and Google to learn everything I could. Your channel was one of the ones that gave me hope of what I aspire my dog could be - happy, relaxed and socialised. Happy to say he has improved in bounds and leaps, almost a completely different dog but he still have a long way to go. Our goal and hope is that one day he can be accepted into your daycare program - one day! This may or may not happen but pls know your contributions (both on and off screen) make a difference and have positive impact on many.
Don't give them up, hold them, hug them, keep them PLEASE 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 GOD give the entire Evans family & staff all the strength to power through and help & save all these beautiful puppies + doggy lives. Don't send them back please, the regrets will eat you up. GOD BLESS You All TREMENDOUSLY 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
What y’all do at the farm is incredible! Your dedication to the dogs is evident in every thing you do. I’m sure the sacrifices y’all have made are more than we realize. The shelter work that you are doing is touching so many lives in a such a positive way. Not only are y’all saving these dog’s lives, you are rehabilitating them, giving them the confidence and skills they need to be happy and find forever families. These families then reap the benefits of your hard work! Finding love ❤️ and companionship. That is a wonderful thing! I will take the liberty to Americanize (southern style) my favorite Aussie phrase… Good on y’all, mates!! ❤️😘🐾👍👏
This is a decision that you have to make as a couple. Luke, you know what will be required to continue on with the 4 rescues, plus Shadow, plus new build, plus regular work load. There is no failure here regardless of what you decide. You are one young man. Bless you for all that you do and for taking us along this morning. Your arms must be tired from holding your phone!
Your description of this video left me in tears. You do such wonderful work and give so much. Great Job To Everyone. Many prayers from the US. The dogs progress is amazing.
Team DDFT, you are amazing!! I have talked about you so often to the nuns here; now they ask me how you are, how Bandit is doing, is Shadow progressing well, etc. please know that this convent is full of “hidden cheerleaders“ who support you with much prayer, love and enthusiasm! You have done wonderful and amazing things with all kinds of dogs because you have a gift. Thanks for sharing it so generously. ♥️
Old animal rescuer/mystic here sending blessings and thanks for all you do, as well, Sister. ✨ 📿🙏💕🐾🐕🐦🌏✨ Funny how this channel & a few like it seem to work on a much broader playing field than where troubled doggos are. Folks' best yearnings converge here in our prayers for their survival. Where huge differences between humans loom, those fade as we press love into creatures' healing. (Heh that made sense before I tried to write it!) 😂✨ I think about those of you, cloistered to radiate His love to a world in sore need of it. Tho I'm only catholic with a little 'c', I've been enthralled with the writing of Julian of Norwich. (And hoping y'all might have a cat as she did because animals are a blessing.) Take care, God bless.
A few historical quotes to lift your spirits: W. Bandit Churchill: " Never have so many canines owed so few humans so much." Martin Luther King, Jr.: "We're going to keep on keeping on." W. Bandit Churchill: This was DDFT's finest hour." N.C. State Coach Jimmy Valvano: "Never give up. Never give up." With great respect and prayers for all that you do to help Man's best friend. From Bangor, Maine, USA
@@barbaramontgomery8984 Thank you, Barbara. Glad you found value in the "quotes." Am a huge admirer of all three men and Bandit is my favorite, so I thought I would have a little fun inserting his perspective. Am not sure where you live, but in America many are familiar with Jimmy Valvano's speech at the 1993 ESPY Awards when he was just 2 months from dying of cancer. His words are incredibly powerful and uplifting in the midst of his own personal tragedy. I urge you to watch/listen to it on TH-cam. Have a wonderful day.
Just look at what you achieved with Shadow. She really has transformed and these guys can too. Sending you huge thoughts of encouragement from us all here.
She has certainly of OUT OF THE SHADOWS into her Sunshine. Maybe she needs new name for her new start and SUNNY would do fine. As she has a sunny loving personality
@@nisebiggs6572 love those two champions of gentle love and devotion. There is a gorgeous recent video of Wolfie and Freddo and the look on Freddo's face is pure love for that little boy ❤
I wish you all knew how much you've helped humans, not just doggo's but mankind too. In a world gone crazy, this is the one spot I can come to for some relief. It's impossible to watch these video's and not be in the present moment along with them...no other intrusive thoughts...just pure joy...if only for as long as the video lasts. Please keep up the hard work and don't doubt yourselves so much. Sending love and positive vibes your way from Ohio.
I’m an old cheerleader. A cheer popped in my head from my youth! “ Luke Luke he’s our man, if he can’t do it , no one can” I’ll be cheering you on! Make those babies happy! ❤️🦴🐾❤️
Gerene, your mentioned cheer was one of our team's favourite and soooo appropriate for Luke's dedication to all the dogs and especially the rescues that arrive at DDFT!! And cheers to Sam and all the staff! We all appreciate the hard work and love you put into these wonderful animals! Best wishes from Canada.
I'm a cat person but come here to get my doggy fix. I saw the changes in the shelter dogs in just 2 weeks. Is there someone willing to donate their time to the shelter dogs? Luke, your family and your staff are the hardest workers I've ever seen. And the pure love you have for the dogs is always there. I want every pet to have a forever home and I hope these 4 have a chance.
If any of you can donate a bit of $ or food,I know how much it is appreciated. I did the other day and received such a lovely letter back. It must cost a fortune to run. Just alone the nutrious meals they feed are incredible. This is an amazing doggy daycare but beyond that is the love, attention, time, and willingness to help all the dogs that come through. I'm sure at times they are absolutely spent but you would never know it when we watch these incredible videos. I think I can unequivocally say from ALL of your fans, supporters, friends in the virtual world, THANK YOU for all you do. 🐶❤🐶❤🐶❤
No way can this community let this endeavor fail. What can we do? Can there be more resources added just for the time that remains in training the 4 musketeers? Could we pay someone overtime just to get through to the end with these guys? Can we send Luke a bigger coffee cup? More flood lights? Have you used that private chef yet? Might be a good time for a nice dinner on the paddock or near the Christmas truck? You are working miracles in these dogs lives. If you could only hear the cheers! You can do this and we are here to help! Just tell us how beyond words of support. 💗
I agree. I was wondering if Jason is available to work more hours training the 4 musketeers, and if the community donates funds via the website to help with wages 🤔...? I'll donate anyway. I'm sure every little bit helps 🙂... btw, love the bigger coffee cup idea☕😁
Once again, when a hero is needed, Luke, aka Mr Incredible, puts his superpowers to work, and Sam, aka Wonder Woman, is there right beside him. No matter what, the DDFT team puts 110% into making miracles happen. I have absolutely no doubt that these latest four will turn out to be as spectacular as the rest of the shelter dogs so far! We are all sending you much love and support!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
I have often thought that the gift Luke has with the rescue dogs is the genuine affection he gives these poorly treated dogs. They respond to the real love they receive at the farm. Maybe they feel safe for the first time. All you can do is your best and hope it's enough.
Nerves of steel and hearts of gold. That's just what these guys need. No one does it better than you,. I learn so much from watching. It's nerve wracking, fascinating, and inspiring all at the same time. I can't put into words how much I admire all that you do. Thank you for letting me into your world, even if only on line.
Luke you alway commit 100%. You would not have made it into Naval Special Forces if your commitment was any less. You love a challenge and have Sam by you side. Plus a whole planet of loyal supporters cheering you on. 🥰
I so admire you all as a family. I started watching during lockdown in the UK. I live alone and found it a very lonely experience which prompted me to delve into uTube and lo and behold I found you. I know it’s silly, but I feel you are friends! I have so many positive things to say, I don’t know where to begin!! Firstly your doggy day care is the most wonderful set up. The dog owners must be so pleased to know their dogs are going off to have such a fabulous safe and stimulating day. Secondly, your own dogs … and boarders. How lovely to be surrounded by so much love. Then your family … the two of you and your three children. Such positivity and love and incredible learning experiences. The girls are so relaxed around the dogs, I adore it. And watching Wolf from day 1 has been a treat in itself. They will all learn such amazing social skills from you all … selflessness, generosity, social conscience, team work, and so much more. Next comes the litters of puppies which must be incredibly hard work but how can anyone not smile with inner happiness watching their energy and mischief. How many was the most you had at one time? I recall 33 but may have that wrong. And finally, the rescue dogs. You two have the biggest hearts. Some people say to me, why do they bother? I soon put them right haha. Giving these beautiful mistreated dogs, whose full stories only their previous owners will know but which we can guess at, a second chance and most importantly the chance to learn to be easy going dogs for the first time. I only have to look at Yo-yo and your beautiful Freddy to know you are right. Luke has wonderful skills and is so lucky to have a supportive wife like you. And a shout out to all the others in the team who work hard in the business and family needs so that they can run well. I’m a supporter for life. Much love from Clare in York, UK.
Beautifully said, Clare, and I'm in complete agreement! I also think of everyone at the farm as friends and family, as well as all the lovely supporters around the world! This channel has made a big difference in my life and that of so many others...human and canine alike!🥰🥰🥰
Thank you Clare for saying so eloquently what I feel and have found hard to put into words. I too found this channel when Spain went into lockdown and, like you, I was alone. The Evans family and The Farm are the best without a doubt.
I don’t normally comment to save you work, but feel compelled to say that dogs end up in shelters bc of us people for various reasons. That is their first blow. The second is Shelters are just that & can only do so much. Third is that some dogs are changed & scarred by the first two. Luke et al what you do for these dogs is nothing short of a miracle in the short time you have had them! You all go above & beyond & we all support & love you for that. If you need help, their is no shame in asking. Please remember that.
Even when Luke knows he's taking on some really challenging situations, he's always hopeful & positive but realistic. Amazing attitude & why Luke & the farm are so successful! You guys are an inspiration to us all & we get lots of helpful tips from each doggie journey. ❤🙏🐕
My words of encouragement are a whisper compared to the encouragement you should get from seeing the change in these shelter dogs. Keep doing the awesome work you do 👍🏻👍🏻
Luke, you are one of the worlds most wonderful people. You are unique, full of endless loving energy, absorbent, fun and awesome. You are a gift from heaven to the dogs and consequently to the people. Thank you. Your wife is your perfect partner, she knows exactly where and when to film what. She enjoys the dogs as much as you do, she is laughing all the time while filming. I love that. Bless you all.
Dear Sam, I just wanted to give an unwarranted piece of advice.... If you ever get a negative comment and it gets you down, just try to think of how much you are doing for your family, for the dogs and the community that loves you all. I often catch myself judging people on what they do, it's a visceral reaction... But then immediately I think "Who am I to judge anyone? What have I done today to help someone, to do something actually good and meaningful ? I'm sitting here, stuck to computer screen, and dare to judge on some petty thing that maybe I don't agree with because of my culture, different customs and upbringing?" And people who actually do good from the goodness of their heart are not nasty and judgmental. Those who do it purely for virtue signaling are. And especially those with unfulfilled and empty lives who have never helped anyone in need. So, next time negativity gets to you, just try to think who are the people that are taking your much needed energy - those who are definitely not worth your time of day, or pretty much anyone else's... Sorry if the comment is harsh or crude, but it really gets me to know you guys are feeling down when the comments hit, especially Auntie Sam. Love and admire you all, you are many people's happy and inspiring place. Cheers!
Hi, Jelena, there's not a trace of the nasty/crude in your entire take, of which, I've read every word. Your post is genuine and straight from the shoulder. Loved every bit if it, especially since it resonated 100% with me. Stay ever blessed, caring soul. From 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
I remember how down you were when you were assessing Shadow's progress at one point you were so deflated. But there was the moment it all came together and she didn't disappoint. All your hard work paid off. Look at her now! You and your team are the best!💝
Sam and Luke, the work you have done and continue to do is immeasurable and the proof is in the dogs like Freddo and Yoyo they we constantly get to see who are now well adjusted and able to mix with other dogs, along with all those who we don't get to see that have made it new loving environments. There is no doubt the work is hard and long but you have the full moral support of this community you have helped to create and which gives us all so much joy. As they say, not all heroes wear capes Luke, and that is especially applicable here.
Like and Sam, I looked at all of the pics of Django (Mr. Orange) and how happy he is in his forever home and thought this pup is living his best life because of the care and guidance provided by you all + the team. Please stay strong and take care of yourselves. Also, may I suggest some type of fundraiser? I watched another channel with pups and that channel raised $ for a charity while we watched one of the pups being bathed. So many of us wish to help...just a thought. Stay strong❤️🙏🏽
Hi there, if you go to their main website they do have a "Donate" button near the top right hand side of the screen. All monies raised go directly to helping the shelter dogs. I've donated a few times over the past few months and it's a very easy process. All the best, Mairi
Have never written before although I watch you every day - every day, morning and night. What you both do with and for dogs , I hope by now you know truly know, affects so many across the world as well as the dogs in your care. I could read/feel in Sam's comments her tender heart -that thank God saved Yo-yo and thus the others, how much you are struggling. Please don't ever give up - please always hold fast to the commitment we feel for you as well as your dogs. Luke -I could see in your eyes and hear in your voice a certain level of fatigue - Good grief -ALL that you do every day along with a family of five...there are not enough hours in a day for all you do. We get up with you in the dark and stay with you until you sign off. There are hundreds if not thousands who would line up at the gate to help you if we didn't live half way across the globe. We don't really know what we can do to help you but if it's a cheering chorus you need today you've got it. You say the dogs saved you, believe me when I say you both are saving some of us. Thank you isn't enough - so I support two shelters here in your names, drop in the bucket, but heartfelt. Thank you from Vermont.
I do love seeing how much Luke understands the unique attributes of each dog, always playing to those strengths to bring out the best in them. It's a beautiful thing to watch them blossom under expert guidance.
❤️ to all who live or work on the farm. Together you make all of this work possible with the rescues and daycare. Thanks for taking us along on the journey. You have our support 100%! WA, USA
Keep going Luke! (And Sam and Jason and the rest of the gang). What you do for these dogs is nothing short of amazing! 💖💖💖💖💖💖 I watch your videos daily and it's so wonderful to see that love and kindness still exist in this crazy world. Please don't give up! ☺💖💖💖💖
I’m a relative new member and came upon this video of 8 months ago. WOW this is a real eye opener as to what hard work and devotion goes into turning these once aggressive dogs into loving and obedient pups. It’s amazing to know where they are now Dec. 2022 and where they were in this video 8 month’s earlier. BRAVO TO LUKE SAM AND JASE!!!! ❤❤❤🐾🐾🐾
Having the feisty girl dogs in the mix has given Luke a little more to handle but he reads it all so well. I’ve learnt more about dog behaviour in this video than ever before. You have so much going on in your lives and you find time to share your love with these pups too. You’re their beacon, Luke.
Luke and Sam your hearts, drive, expertise, selflessness are what is needed in this world!!! Pls keep going-stay on the path of helping and healing!! The rescue dogs and puppies need you- need the Farm!
You all are amazing in so many ways! Luke, your commitment and desire to help these dogs is nothing short of astounding,! We will keep on watching and praying for you and the family as you do the work you’ve been called too! God bless!
Let the healing continue! These beautiful dogs will get there! Look at Shadow and how far she has come. Luke, sincerely from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you, your family and staff efforts to save these shelter dogs. If not for this, these dogs would have been put down.
You will always have our support Luke and all the team you are truly inspiring in all you do you got this Luke and Sam love your work and commitment to all the doggies thank you 💓💜😍❤️
Luke you are doing an awesome job with these dogs. After only 2 weeks there is a lot of progress. It may take some time but one day you will say why did I ever worry.❤
I think you all achieve so much helping all the puppies in need and especially the older rescue dogs - that alone should make you happy and proud. And you have your own dogs and a lovely family and a dedicated team around you for support . And you certainly feel that your work means a lot for your followers in so many different ways, learning about dogs of course but also just bringing joy to people 's lifes. We understand that your workload is immense and everyone hopes that you find ways to balance it with enough what's called 'quality time' for yourselves.
Luke, Sam & all, this commitment, all of it, pups or death row doggos, will be THE proudest moments in your lives. Your kids will tell their kids, not how Nana & Pops ran a posh dog kennel, but how they grew up with hundreds of dogs/puppies saved from an uncertain futures and in turn blessed another family with that unconditional love that only a dog can bring. Many of us have been blessed (just like the rescues) to find your channel and have our faith in mankind renewed. I know you're going to make it happen cuz that's how the Evan's family rolls. I believe things have a way of working out, don't they? Thanks for letting me be part of this worthwhile experiment, thousands of miles away. I am so proud of you. 🇨🇦
So impressed with how you, Sam and the team have helped all the rescue dogs. Shadow has done remarkably well and is a completely changed dog. You all have put in long, hard hours for the good of these dogs. Thank you so much for your kind heart.
What you (all) do is wonderful. If I had skills that could help out and give you more time to do your amazing work, I'd be on my way. Thank you for sharing your successes and concerns. I appreciate Sam sharing (no need to apologize) and giving us this space to be your cheerleaders. The shelter dogs can't say 'thank you' in words. Thank you on their behalf, and for showing and giving all of us hope. Your hearts 💕 are so big!
When you said that you have committed a two-week training period for these guys, I knew that you won't be able to give them up after that time and will walk extra miles to make sure that they will have a better chance in life. You have shown this commitment to giving your 200% during the time with Yoyo, Conrad, Bobby, Rogan, and Freddo, and look at where they are now. You all have big hearts full of love and care for these dogs. You understand them and communicate with them effectively without dominating them or forcing them as some trainers do. But I know that it is not as easy as it looks and it can be physically, emotionally, and mentally draining day in and day out. Luke, please take care of yourself so that you can continue doing the things that you do because we all know, sad as it is, there will be another batch waiting for a chance like this. You are their only hope right now and I really wish that there are more people like you in the world.
You guys perform miracles every day - it is a long, hard road but oh so rewarding! I remember the video when Freddo, Yo-Yo, Bobby, Conrad and Rogan were together and the energy was tense (I was tense thousands of miles away), but soon their focus stopped being on each other and turned to them enjoying themselves sniffing all the nooks and crannies of the farm and they relaxed and just look at them now - your ambassadors to the world. I do believe these dogs will pay you back in spades for the time that you invest in them. I honestly don't know how you do it - there aren't enough hours in the day, but you do it with grace, dignity, faith and most of all, love. I am in awe of all of you and miracles that you do so unselfishly.
Luke, once you said to one of the shelter dogs "I believe in you." It was simp!e, yet profound! And I knew you really meant what you said. The dogs know it, too. What you do is amazing and my respect for you and Sam is ...well let me say I have never seen such love and commitment from anyone! We, all of us out here, believe in you, too! You and your staff are making a huge difference in this world!
What you said is so true. Luke speaks to the dogs with a love and affection that makes them want to be the best they can be. I found the channel too late to see his work with Freddo and Yoyo, but Shadow has been through such a transformation that I have seen Luke's super powers when it comes to rehabilitating dogs that didn't know the meaning of love before they came into his life. It's obvious that Sam and all the other DDFT work side by side with him and support his every effort.
@@thoreenburkhardt3050 it is really worthwhile going back and watching all the videos from when Freddo, Yoyo, Lucy & Conrad and the other Rescue dogs and all the successes from the lock down time group . They are so heart-warming , amazing to watch all of them blossom
Sam and Luke- taking on this challenge on top of your already heavy schedule will seem foolhardy to some, but is a testament to your commitment to trying to help dogs that have been thoroughly failed by humans before. It is a heavy responsibility, but i believe you can do it. The support and strength of the community you have built here is behind you 100%. The way you seem to rely on each other, cheer each other on and try to communicate and make decisions together are signs of your mutual love and respect for each other. There have been tough times in the past, but you navigated through them, emerging stronger on the other side. The next few weeks are going to be no different: hard, exhausting, rewarding and enlightening. It is the next hard step in learning how to manage this new phase of your business and your lives. You have each other. You have your staff. You have your families. You have us. That is a lot of belief under your wings. Plus you have the adoration of the daycare dogs to bolster your spirits. Most importantly, you also have the love and gratitude of these dogs. It may not always be apparent, but the shelter dogs, the fosters and the puppies all come to realize that you are helping them, especially when they find safe and loving homes. It is okay to be tired. It is okay to be scared. It is okay to be unsure. We have your backs. You are doing good work.
I know this must be stressful, but Luke has achieved so much success with the other shelter dogs. I know he will give these four dogs the best chance he can. It seems to be part of his life mission. Wishing him all the energy and support he needs to succeed. He is loved by all the dogs and all of us.
The dogs have had remarkable changes. We can all see the difference in their behaviour. You are all amazing for what you do for all these dogs. Love watching all these videos, thank you for putting them up for us.
Well , Luke and Sam I don't have the knowledge you have but it seems that a habit that was taught has to be broken . I believe you can do it. I believe in you and Sam . Looks like the muzzles might be the way . I look at it from my side of the video's . I'm not there to know the dogs ways, only everyone who works there knows these dogs and knows what to do. It not easy it wears on your heartstrings ,everything takes time. Love watching the daycare and puppies , your farm is a great place for a family and a dogs life. If it weren't for the farm no one could do this. Swimming, running , walking in the bush. Have a great day keep strong keep wise . 😊🐕🤗❤ take time out for yourself it's good for the mind and good for the soul , God Bless you all . Keep smiling 🤗❤🐕🐾
I have all the faith in the world in Luke being able to train these dogs to be their best. I believe it will be time consuming for all of you. Sometimes I wonder how you both manage to do as much as you do in a days time. You both have such big hearts to take these dogs on. I will support you 100% on any decision or outcome because it comes from a place of love and caring. I am hoping Jason can continue to help with the training. Does he usually just come on Daycare Days? The three of you all work together so well. Sending you all the positive thoughts I can. Such improvements in 2 weeks. Hopefully these 4 will be Freddo, YoYo, Jake, Bobby, and Shadow level in a few months.
It’s a lot to ask of everyone in your family, to hang on while Luke directs energy to the rescue dogs; energy and attention that could otherwise be devoted to your family and your own dogs. But having observed you for a couple of years now, I doubt that either of you considered any other option. Just know that we have the utmost respect and admiration for what you do. Please don’t hesitate to express your concerns or to ask for our support, which you have in spades.
People all over the world love and admire you for your commitment and for saving lives of shelter dogs. Luke and you Sam are truly amazing. Not only saving lives for the moment, but helping these dogs on the right path to live their best lives.
The progress with these dogs is just amazing to see. With your patience and commitment they will become trustworthy. When Molly ran back to her crate after you ticked her off, it made me wonder what had happened to her in her past life, AFTER she'd been told ''no'' - probably something not very nice. The dogs are so lucky to have you in their lives.
@@jennywhitaker2304 oops that was me, way back! Had my teenage boys (sons) do similar things 8-10 years ago 😉! Anyway, Luke took it in his stride and gave it a positive spin.
you are achieving great things with all the rescue dogs. they have all come a long way in 2 weeks, Shadow girl is doing fantastic. Uncle Luke you rock at this , keep up the great work
Luke, you bring so much hope and love into these dogs' lives, and while it will be hard for a while, you will give them their best chance at life and a loving furever home. We are rooting for you and the dogs. Thank you for sharing your passion with these dogs and the world. Lots of love to you and everyone at DDFT!
Shadow running at full speed is a vision💜 so happy for her progress. To Luke ~ you do amazing work with the rough shelter dogs; your sense and talent for training them is truly impressive. I hope you pace yourself through all the work, and take time rest and reenergize yourself, because this a huge job.🙏⭐️💚
Dear Luke and Sam you are the most kind and generous loving people I watched for the last six months. The way you care for each furry friends is amazing. Thank you for showing us all what dedication and love can do. Many blessings to you and your family. 🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🙏
You all go above and beyond for these animals. I really hope you guys make sure to give yourselves plenty of time for caring for your needs as well. It's okay to say "time out" we need a break.
That was so funny, when Luke told Molly off for being naughty. It was so obvious, she just turn tail and set off for home. As we say in the UK, she got the huff on!! Talk about taking your bat and ball home!! She made me chuckle.😂🤣👍
I don't know about anyone else, but it's almost as if I can hear a huge sigh of relief from the dogs when they realize they get to stretch out on long runs, sniff away on meandering walks and eat fantastic and varied food rather than be scared, aggressive, unsure, hungry or defensive anymore. You are laser focused on specific behavior goals of course, but I wanted to point out how moving it is to see these dogs just be able to relax and not feel the pressure of their previous lives. Such a beautiful thing you are doing, and so important for your children to witness and be a part of this kindness and service to other beings. We hope you feel the virtual support and love from all of us around the world!
Your doing great .And in even a shorter time.!! Your an expert and it shows. I am so happy that these dogs no one wanted can have a chance at a real life. Thank you all for all the work we do not see.🙏❤️🔥And the work we get to see
In time the patience & love shown from Uncle Luke will see these rescue doggies as good as previous ones he has taught to socialise. Good on you Uncle Luke. We need more people like you! 👍 😁 ☮️ 💕
I just read your comments and what you did with Shadow and YoYo and Freddo was so awesome. Yes it’s long hours but those dogs have proven how worth it it is. I really believe Luke can get these 4 to turn around. They’re worth it. It’s not easy and the hours long. I believe in the end they’ll get an awesome home. They really are good dogs just plz give them some more time. 🐈⬛🐶💕 Luke your doing a fantastic job.
For sure Luke will give them all the time they need 😊 If only we could donate ‘hours’ ⏰ or at least sleep and energy to him, so he still has all the hours and energy he needs for the farm and precious family time 🌻
If you ever feel like giving up hope, just take a look back at the journey you have been on with shadow with where she started and where she is today. I was almost in tears to see her off lead and no muzzle just enjoying life… that is because of you uncle luke 😊
You can do this! Always so impressed how Luke reads the dogs and understands what they feel and what messages they give each other and how he knows so quickly when to interrupt if necessary or just let the early steps towards play continue. These will be different dogs in just a few weeks. But take care of yourselves too. 💞💞💞
You r all doing a fantastic job at farm with all the dogs please continue with ur love and care for them there should b more people like u in world I thank u 🐾
Luke Sam, Jason and the farm team. The effort you have all put in for the rescues- these 4 esp, is amazing. I wish there was some kind of grant that Dee could apply for to help you out. Getting the rescues to this point in 2 weeks is certainly amazing. You are truly a dog whisperer and angels on earth. 💕💕💕
Luke and Sam please don't let people's comments get you down. All the good that you guys do is straight from the heart. All of the farms devotion is incredible!!!!!
I can only imagine how it feels logistically challenging moving forward, Luke, but you truly do understand these dogs and their behaviors like no one I've ever seen. You've showed us how far Rosco, Chance, Molly, and Nevaeh have come these last two weeks alone. You CAN do this, I know it in my heart. You have the will, the way will come. You also have all of your family's support, your team's support, and our support. Don't forget, we are EVERYWHERE in the world, united because of YOUR passion and love for these beautiful souls. We all love you for what you and Sam have built together on your beautiful farm. ❤️🙏🏻 Thank you!
Perhaps you need to know that in these past few years, you have saved as many humans as dogs. Your family and the entire staff are a ray of sunshine in a rather dismal world right now. Don’t ever question the wonderful work you do. 🐾❣️
Amen to all you said…plus they are raising their 3 kids so well and showing them how to treat people and dogs!
Very well said.
So well put. Your "family" has put so many smiles on people's faces, cheered lots of saddened hearts, and brighten many gloomy, lonely days for folks around the world. Thank you for opening your hearts and home with your fans/family. Many God richly and abundantly bless you as you have others.
Thank you for finding the perfect words.
Absolutely on point. Thank you for sharing your thoughts x
I tell everyone about Lukes videos and his rescue missions ❤

Agree totally 💯 🥰
Totally agree with you James re the ‘judgemental’….and I’m so thrilled that ppl like yourself from the other side of the globe tune in, follow and appreciate all that DDFT offer as much as I do from Queensland Australia. 🇦🇺🇺🇸
I watch a few dog behaviour channels but Luke’s interaction with all his dogs just really touches me. The calm, strong but exceptionally loving environment they are in is exactly what any dog needs!
I keep thinking of the challenges he faced in his dangerous role in the Navy and how he methodically tracks the progress of each dog.

Lovely Dogs 🤩👍

Luke, Sam and all the DDFT team, you always go above and beyond for ALL the dogs on the farm. The countless hours of dedication in undoing what others have failed to do with these shelter dogs is amazing.

Amen! I was thinking a about the dinner with the personal chef - I would have used it by now!
Thank you For. Stating and bringing. To light request to. Know what other form of support the community can do beside words of encouragement
I agree. I was wondering if Jason is available to work more hours training the 4 musketeers, and if the community donates funds via the website to help with wages 🤔...? I'll donate anyway. I'm sure every little bit helps 🙂... btw, love the bigger coffee cup idea☕😁
@@kmcfarlane4038 Mee too - sending $ - and hopeful someone near by can get Luke a big ☕️ mug.
Agree totally 💯 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Agree totally!!
Agree too!
Thank you so much Clare 🙏❤️
Beautifully said, Clare, and I'm in complete agreement! I also think of everyone at the farm as friends and family, as well as all the lovely supporters around the world! This channel has made a big difference in my life and that of so many others...human and canine alike!🥰🥰🥰
AGREE TOTALLY 🥰💯🥰
Luke met Sam and the angels 😇 sang yes!
I love how you expressed this. Totally agree.
@@nadine_ghc3465 Awesome, sometimes that happens, thanks
Amen
Cheers!
Agree totally 💯 🥰
Absolutely agree!!!!
Well said!!
Well said
Hi, Jelena, there's not a trace of the nasty/crude in your entire take, of which, I've read every word.
Your post is genuine and straight from the shoulder. Loved every bit if it, especially since it resonated 100% with me.
Stay ever blessed, caring soul.
From 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
My heart still melts watching these two and all of your tireless dedication🙏🏻❤️🧡🐾🐾
Well said 👏👏👏👏👏. ".. not all heroes wear capes" 🥰🤗
What I see is good, decent human beings meeting a challenge with knowledge and compassion. Thank you for helping these fur babies. ❤️🐾🇨🇦
@@greatscot712 thank u! I didn't even realize
Beautiful words Jess, truly beautiful! And absolute truth. 👏✌️🐾♥️🌹
Thank you very much Jess. That means so much ❤️
I do love seeing how much Luke understands the unique attributes of each dog, always playing to those strengths to bring out the best in them.
I watch your videos daily and it's so wonderful to see that love and kindness still exist in this crazy world.
You are saving their lives and souls. As well as yours and ours. Thank you
Having the feisty girl dogs in the mix has given Luke a little more to handle but he reads it all so well. I’ve learnt more about dog behaviour in this video than ever before. You have so much going on in your lives and you find time to share your love with these pups too. You’re their beacon, Luke.
Agree totally 💯 🥰
My eyes went wide when Molly "went off in a huff" when Uncle Luke called her out. Then I laughed, Mollygirl is typical female😂
Luke and Sam your hearts, drive, expertise, selflessness are what is needed in this world!!! Pls keep going-stay on the path of helping and healing!! The rescue dogs and puppies need you- need the Farm!
Agree 💯🥰
You all are amazing in so many ways! Luke, your commitment and desire to help these dogs is nothing short of astounding,! We will keep on watching and praying for you and the family as you do the work you’ve been called too! God bless!
Let the healing continue! These beautiful dogs will get there! Look at Shadow and how far she has come. Luke, sincerely from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all you, your family and staff efforts to save these shelter dogs. If not for this, these dogs would have been put down.
You will always have our support Luke and all the team you are truly inspiring in all you do you got this Luke and Sam love your work and commitment to all the doggies thank you 💓💜😍❤️
So wonderful to watch these shelter dogs have some joy and happiness , wow can Nevaeh run what a little athlete. Good work Luke and Jason.
Yup, I totally agree with you.
Hear! Hear! 🐾🐾💕
Well said Abby. Your words reflect what so many of us feel each day watching this amazing team.
So impressed with how you, Sam and the team have helped all the rescue dogs. Shadow has done remarkably well and is a completely changed dog. You all have put in long, hard hours for the good of these dogs. Thank you so much for your kind heart.
Go go go luke, Sam, jason, Adam and all the DDFT staff...another Freddo and Yoyo are being trained (in the making)...😉😉😉 luv you all guys!!!!
Your commitment and determination amaze me. I have no idea where you find your energy. Take care of yourself.
Thank you Thoreen! I agree it is wonderful to watch the other shelter dog videos. I love the video when it was announced Freddo had been adopted!
Brilliance + patience + consistency = ❤️
We believe. They believe. Why? We all feel the strength of your belief.
Never give up.
Watching you train the rescues has helped my husband and I train our rescued amstaff Tank. Thanks to you we have a great dog

To Luke ~ you do amazing work with the rough shelter dogs; your sense and talent for training them is truly impressive.
I hope you pace yourself through all the work, and take time rest and reenergize yourself, because this a huge job.🙏⭐️💚

🤣🤣🤣 Pat…my fav saying I brought home after living in northern England mid 2000’s was ‘face like a slapped arse’, still use it, just love Brit humour 👍
Thank you for this laugh!! Very needed!@@machelleperham7046

They really are good dogs just plz give them some more time. 🐈⬛🐶💕 Luke your doing a fantastic job.

You can do this! Always so impressed how Luke reads the dogs and understands what they feel and what messages they give each other and how he knows so quickly when to interrupt if necessary or just let the early steps towards play continue. These will be different dogs in just a few weeks. But take care of yourselves too. 💞💞💞
