For anyone interested, I'll be going to Japan next week and will be able to buy albums for lyrics sheets. If anyone has a request for songs/albums without lyrics available, please leave them here so I know which albums to buy.
It's great to see more translations. I'm a little late to the party - I didn't know you'd done new things in the last few years! It's a pity that so many of your older videos are gone now, especially everything abyssal-related from kinema106.
I think I understand what this song is about. Its about a soldier/marine who came back home defeated only to see the nuclear explosion. Sun of demise refers to the explosion itself. The first half of the song up to the minute 2 when the title of the song is dropped the song is about what the soldier saw such as scorched skies and how he immediately understand that all his hometown disappeared in a moment. Then the song is about how the soldier keeps on living despite not even wanting to do that. How his memories, wishes and hopes all became regrets at once.
Correct in a sense. These are spirits of the ships themselves, this ship in particular was sunk as a nuclear bomb test subject despite being part of the united states navy. So all her fighting and more, to be left to be executed along with her enemies by the country she serviced. In the game lore its basically heavily implied that when a ship spirit sinks it returns as a corrupted form of itself with its memories fractured and its regrets mingled with it, and thus we have this character here as one of those. This is further supported by the headware looking like the bow of the actual sunken ship that suffered this exact fate the USS Saratoga.
@@taliakuznetsova7092 I have never played the game or know anything about the lore of it so your comment was highly informative and appreciated. Glad to know my interpretation was so close to the truth I will hear the song again with your explanation in mind.
@@ChaosAngel667 Here watch this as well. This is the MV of the song. th-cam.com/video/MDMc1c7STU8/w-d-xo.html It might help you visualize more what I mean by this. Now as for the nuclear bomb test in particular, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Crossroads this is the test in question.
@@taliakuznetsova7092 are you some kind of youtube guru or something? The information was awesome, I had never seen the MV although I did read that wiki article already. Why is youtube allowing you to share links?
@@ChaosAngel667 I dont know but its never out-right banned them for me. Might be because they're well known sources? As for the knowledge, despite this game having as much lore as its gameplay (which is legitly 0, its an autochess game), the fanbase has gotten tons of lore and people have pieced together the table scraps the game gives us to have coherent lore of some slight kind. I have my own based off a friends work but that only comes into play for RP's and stuff.
the intro & the descending growls always hits me with the vibe of something sinking deeper & deeper into the abyss, million tons of metal crashing together and screaming their way into the depth, bulking under the immense pressure of kilometers of water
Yes, most of my old uploads were either copyright striked or I didn't receive permission to post them. So I unlisted them until I received permission from the creators. It's been years so I've somewhat given up on it.
@@RyuuhouKagiyama But didnt Kinema106 guys were fine with you uploading the translations(in the specific case of the songs from them. since you have already made many translations of their songs), or is just TH-cam being harsh on the copyright stuff as usual?
@@toki_tsu_kaze5511 Unfortunately TOM of Kinema 106 was the claimer of the copyright personally. I'm not sure why he changed his mind but perhaps he acquired a label that now owns the songs. He didn't copyright strike my account though, so I assume it is something non-malicious like that.

Thank you, most of the videos are automated copyright, the kinema106 videos being among them. I only do translations by request now.
