I have no in-depth knowledge of CGI nor do I need to when watching a film to enjoy its effects. With Gravity, the CGI is unfathomable to the point of incomprehension, and frankly I simply do not care, as the story in the way it is told is both beautiful and perfect. Possibly the nearest I will ever get to being in space. Not once did I ever think about the cinematography, and that means my suspension of disbelief was complete. A wonderful magnificent work of visual fiction. One of my top ten films. Bravo Chico!

I found it hard enough to fathom this basic level of CGI, it was just so insanely well done and like you say, it's the nearest we will probably get to being in space. Not thinking about the cinematography is a good thing! It tells Chivo that he did his job incredibly well.

Just finished watching it and I am absolutely blown away by this film. As a kid this trailer scared me a lot so I never wanted to watch it, so I took the opportunity now that I’m much older. I loved the cinematography and the screenplay. It is such an incredible movie and it deserved all the Oscars. (Also love the william tell overture, specifically movement 2 in the background lol)

Love your work. but am I the only one that thinks that white background and film dust effects are disturbing? I am losing focus while watching your videos. Does anyone else have the same problem?

Thanks! I've actually heard that a couple of times, but I have to do some of it to avoid any copyright issues. I've found the white background works the best across the board, and having something like a film dust just separates it from other creators.
