The LP version is preferable imo because of the guitar at the end. I'd say this version may have been the definitive if it had that. The vocals here are more frantic and it's faster towards the end which adds a lot.
Both versions are great. Only thing ; the drums are 'looser' at the ending explosion here. Better drums on the album (IMHO). Post punk of the highest order.
Clearest guitar live version with only one refrain at 3.51. Is not superior to the album version. Only different. I love the studio version too for the slowest tempo, the darker feeling of drum and bass and the brilliant two guitar work from 4.48 till the end. A little masterpiece anyway
In my opinion, the production on this one is better than in the studio version. Two refrains would have been better although one refrain makes it more epic.

Yeah my main gripe with this version is that it lacks Adrian's wickedly distorted screeching guitar at the end like the LP version has
