I decided to go a different route this week by doing a little story telling. Let me know if you enjoy this type of video. Maybe I will do another like this in the future?!🤔
You got a great deal man! I have the Blue SmokeBurst and swapped out the pickups for the 58/15LT tci thing is an absolute monster 🔥 plays like butter. Stock pick-ups were really good but I play clean most of the time and liked the openness and clarity of the Lt’s
@@PeterPlaysGuitarHey man, sorry for the super later reply lol. It was either a 594 or a Les Paul standard. I actually had a les paul years back but never really fell in love with it. Recently I purchased another 594 but the thin-line model and had plans to swap out the pick ups but NO WAY im doing that, the 58/15”s” actually sounds different in the thinline, gives me a less bright but warmer tone that I absolutely love. They sound similar but not the same
I literally just bought my S2 594 McCarty today. Same color as you have. The only difference is I bought the 10 year anniversary addition which has the 58/15 LT pick ups that are USA made, Pearl bird inlays, different neck wood and a 10 year truss rod cover. Its as close as I can get to the PRS Core models without spending $4500! It took me months to figure out what I wanted. I played a few SE models and they felt a little clunky compared to the S2's. It should be here in a few days. Can't wait!
Hey, thanks for watching! I believe that you are right about the electronics. I had that brand new SE lose signal while I was playing it and that was enough to scare me off. Maybe it was a fluke and that particular guitar should not have passed inspection, I don’t know. Either way, the S2 that I bought has never had an issue like that.
The S2 guitars are great guitars. Smart move. The core (CE) models are even better. Keep on rockin!
Do you have a Core model? I have not ever played on one myself.

I like the style of this video bro!
Thank you! There will be more like this in the future :)
