    My biases worked out for me this time. PM players just want to press buttons, ult players can't move, melee players can not even comprehend the juggle game or projectile zoning, rivals players don't shield. The melee player was the easiest to spot because only a melee player would play a character with kragg's rock and not abuse that shit. Hardest to spot was the PM player because those guys play every indie and modded plat fighter.

      I just guessed melee because it wasn't played yet I'd have had trouble if it wasn't last
      That point about PM players is so real LOL we just play everything

      the ult player didn't use rock either, which was really surprising imo

    Real ones can recognize a rivals 1 player off of steam name alone

    Just so people know, the reason kraggs jump so much is because their air speed is much faster than their grounded speed, similar to on the opposite end why rannos prefer to be grounded/on plat during neutral

    As a rivals player incould immediately tell who the rivals player was by their movement patterns.

    Imagine if you had the melee player playing Zetterburn

  • @666blaziken
    @666blaziken 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

    At 17:00 i could tell it was a rivals player because he got his parries down, and for one of them in particular, he used it to set up for a combo which is a very rivals 1 thing to do because rivals 1 didn't have cc, so combo startups on parry is common in that game. Most melee players and ult players i feel would just go for kragg fsmash even at low percentage.

    I absolutely loved this video! Rivals content is exactly what I’m looking for, whether it be from melee ult or any other organizations. I love this

    @x9x9x9x9x9 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    No wavedash = ult or rivals,
    no parry = ultimate or melee or pm
    no shield drop = rivals or ultimate
    Bad di = ultimate
    no dash dance = ultimate
    moonwalking = melee
    aka its very easy to sniff out ultimate players lol. Also how people recover tells A LOT about where they come from. If they use the air dodge and wall jump they probably come from rivals. If they just use air dodge they might come from ultimate, if they just use wall jump or neither then melee or PM. CC used to be an obvious sign but now everyone knows how to CC.

    • @666blaziken
      @666blaziken 12 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I sort of disagree with no wavedash = rivals. Cake assault uses a ton of wavelands to reach the opponent on platform and land a dtilt as forsburn. Rivals 1's wavedash also gives boosted momentum to jumps if you jump cancel the wave dash, so roa1 players definitely wavedash (though I don't think they dash dance that much though). It might be the kragg though because his wavedash isn't very useful.

    • @x9x9x9x9x9
      @x9x9x9x9x9 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @666blaziken I think cake actually comes from melee originally. I mean I know he's a god at both rivals 1 and 2 but I'm pretty sure he started with melee. I could be totally wrong on that though. Anyways what I mean is if the person isn't wavedashing often and just in neutral then they're probably from rivals 1 or ultimate.

    I really like both games, but I enjoy Smash more. It's a party game at its core, which shapes everything about it. When I play Smash with competitive rules, it feels incredible to find combos or use moves that are usually seen as useless in the meta. For example, landing a clean Falcon Punch feels way better to me than just doing a regular combo. I think that’s something Rivals doesn’t have. I still enjoy it, though it's fast-paced, every character is usable, and none have weaknesses that make them unplayable. Plus, I believe every move has a purpose.

      Rivals 1 definitely has this when you turn on stage hazards or play screen wrap or the custom move. It is pretty fun although unless you turn on workshop ultimate will take longer before getting stale

    • @Kalani_Boi
      @Kalani_Boi 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      rivals 1 definately has those unpractical, hype, hard hitting moves. For example, Etalus neutral B and Hodan up smash. I just think rivals 2 needs time to build like how the first game developed over time.
