Has anybody told Disney that they can't just redo stories over and over again?
Wait, so, help me understand. Daredevil born again, it's gonna be a reboot? The hole story again with different cast and etc?

This is why I think they're just going to use the name and tell a completely new story. Because they've already done Born Again. So what is it Born Again, Again.
Charlie Cox has said that, though he doesn't know anything for sure, he personally suspects the name is just alluding to the show going in a new direction and it won't actually adapt the Born Again storyline.
It's probably something similar to why Spider-Man's return to the MCU was named Homecoming

I think he vanished in the snap and when he returned everything changed. Kingpin got out and Foggy and/or Karen were probably killed.
In she hulk, Matts dialogue with Jen in the bar indicated that they are probably still alive as he says “we do pro bono work mostly”

It was a great storyline and a quality cast. Charlie Cox is great as both Matt and DD.
I'm just confused cause in She-Hulk Matt drops hints (and ripped dialogue) that the events of Daredevil happened in the MCU but at the same time we don't know for sure

@@jwatts94 it's canon to mcu just like tobey maguire spiderman and Andrew Garfield spiderman is canon, it's happened in different universe, if it was canon why do you think they wasn't on the fight with Thanos on endgame, with that logic, agents of shield is also canon to the mcu, and ghost rider actually exists in mcu, Marvel introduces multiverse and what if series so we can know how these shows are still canon and part of the the Marvel and still not of the same universe where mcu events are getting placed, don't get your hopes too high, otherwise you will get disappointed, and if all Netflix shows were canon then why do you think mahersha Ali was casted as blade when he was casted as someone else in luke Cage??
Deadpool is also not the part of official mcu, he only can be part of MCU by multiverse and time travel and stuff
I think Bullseye is going to return in New born again cuz in the end of season 3 we saw him getting high tech treatment.

I think the only reason they used born again is just referring to how he basically ""died"" when daredevil was canceled on Netflix and is now born again as he is introduced to the MCU

The reason all that happened was because kingpin found out that Murdock was daredevil.
He found that out from one his contacts who got it from Karen page because she wanted drugs. Kingpin arranged Matt's assets frozen, his ability to practice law was gone and blew up his house
That’s the most important part of the story before Matt’s decline.

Daredevil season 3 is in my opinion the best thing Marvel has ever done

I believe “Born again” is to symbolize the direction they’re going to take. I think they’re going to borrow heavily from the Mark Waid run. Which had a light hearted tone. Plus it’s a wink to the Miller mini-series.
Just my theory though

i think the movie is about rebuilding daredevil reputation through his current color scheme, the original "yellow and red", because (and i never watched the netflix show before) they are actually aiming at the last daredevil arc where matt got himself arrested as daredevil, and have to have himself serve his time in jail, and that would be messed up since it seems there's no established elektra yet.

They also used the name "age of ultron" for a movie while the actual age of ultron event was a timetravel story focused on wolverine. Movie just uses cool names sometimes

Matt Murdock changed religion from Catholic to Born again hence the title.
This is what I've been saying. Much like some other Marvel stories - they'll just steal the title and make an original story. They already did Born Again. That was why I was so excited for season 3, and why I'm left confused by the new show.
They aren't going to top what Netflix did.
Just a reminder that Disney is the reason why we never got a season 4

Born again is probably a reference to the character's reintroduction in d+ they already said the show is gonna follow the mayor fisk storyline.
and I mean, I feel like Netflix made the best TV adaptation of born again that can be made. even if marvel does a panel by panel adaptation it still wouldn't match season 3 of daredevil cause it wasn't just a good adaptation but one of the best seasons of TV I have ever seen. The changes made sense and dare I say, they were better then the original thing sometimes. not to mention the atmosphere and mood (not a comedy show like how marvel looks now a days) and the acting, man the acting is just too notch. We had the history of that kingpin and that daredevil, charlie killed it, the bullseye actor was amazing, Nadeem, EVERYTHING was just peek with no where near the money Disney has to put into their series.
They're probably going to use one of his up to date stories where he did go through a born again storyline but it was different from the original.

I think the title is just really accurate to what happened with daredevil, the character was on hiatus for a while, had basically been wiped from existence and now is being brought back in a big way.
Also born again just happens to be a catholic/christian theme which tracks for him. Also could mean that Matt makes sense of his faith in this series? Maybe?
i think it has to do with the blip. matt was wiped out while kin pin was able to escape from prison and start a new crew underground. Matt comes back (born again) and learns what kin pin has been doing for five years
in the new one The Night Nurse does all the fighting for him.

I think they named it born again because it is his re introduction. And the story is going to be different I think because they confirmed that it is going to follow the Wilson Fisk as Mayor storyline
I really loved how all of daredevil, but especially ssn3 incorporated his catholic faith heavily into the story, especially when he speaks to the father of his church about his crisis, and why got "put the devil" in him. Such great storytelling and character development.
On a totally seperate note my favorite thing about being a catholic is our churches, no other denomination builds a house of worship like catholics do. Ahh the Sistine Chapel * chefs kiss *

They can redo it. His MCU character in She Hulk does seem like a variant/alt universe version from the Netflix show. This would prove it.

I am a little bit worried about what Disney is going to do with Daredevil but I am glad to see that he's coming back and Kingpin as well.
If the netflix show didnt call the last season rebirth we wouldnt be having this problem.

Yes homecoming was set during homecoming dance but that dance could’ve been anything. It wasn’t key to the story like “no way home” or “far from home” actually reflected themes in the movie
Season 3 was really good.
I’m excited. I don’t mind seeing a different rendition and they’re clearly using CGI now too. I have a feeling it won’t be ICONIC as the Netflix series but it will be dumb entertainment; which I’m 100% cool with! That’s just my opinion!

With how many episodes this show is going to have I assume they're doing soft reboot/recap with edited and slightly altered first two seasons leading up to completely new Born Again storyline

There is enough material in the daredevil born again comics that you could probably just do what the Netflix show didn’t do and put an new spin on what they did do, barring the copycat daredevil part maybe a heavy retooling of the church sequences
Titles ≠ adaptation. As seen with ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Age of Ultron’ which are both named after comics of the same title, but aren’t adapting the story from those comics. “Daredevil: *Born Again”* is definitely just a nod to the characters revival with Marvel similarly to “Spider-Man *Homecoming”* being a reference to Spider-Man finally being at home with Marvel. I guess we’ll have to see though.

We don't know if they're not gonna redo it or not, because like Feige and Cox said, this isn't s4, this is s1, and it's Disney here, so under the assumption that they are money hungry and cocky enough to know that fans will eat whatever shit they throw at us(e.g phase 4), they could just redo it, for better or for worse, with added mcu flavors.

Disney redid a new hope again with a watered down remake called the force awakens. I wouldnt put it past disney to reuse stories since theyve been making money off of the live action remakes of the 90s films
I’m very certain they’re not gonna use this storyline. One reason is season 3 did it and another reason is it’s not a good storyline if you’re trying to soft-reboot daredevil. It’s not a good storyline to introduce people to him
It’s crazy when you think about how the comic artists don’t get paid anything when movies take from comics, it always makes for a better movie and it’s only fair to pay them

Why it's titled born again is not the story, it's the character coming back after 4 years when the netflix series got canceled, and since daredevil is now in the mcu he is born again from the netflix show

It was Netflix who did that not Disney. Kevin was not involved in it and that’s why it was such great show. If it was Kevin, it would have been filled with stupid jokes like “my a$$ remains unwhopped”

Its called "born again" because daredevil didnt use any protection when doing the deed with shehulk meaning she hulk is pregnant and in 9months they will have a son, daredevil will then train the kid into a assasin and when the kid is sleeping he pours chemical into his eyes making him blind. The kid will grow up to become daredevil. Period.🤣🤣
