I could not sleep last night so I watched some of your videos. THIS video is the best! Made my hubby watch too. BEACH, SURFING, GOOD COFFEE AND FABULOUS QUILT SHOPS! My dream! Hubby's faves too! Im gonna watch tbis over and over. I know we are social distancing.....but as SOON as the coast is clear, We are taking a trip to San Diego! Thank you Rob!
Adventure! What a fun video made much more fun by your camping and surfing escapades. And the shops were great. Take us along on your adventure anytime you like.
Lucky you, having a black cat tour guide! My current fur baby is named Leia, black as onyx. She’s gorgeous, and she knows it. Lol. Thanks for sharing even more of your journeys. Being disabled, it’s wonderful to travel by armchair. I’ve bookmarked all their websites. Joyful travels. Blessed be.
Rob I love the fact that you show quilt shops I don't have a lot in my area in Northeast CT and the ones that are there are very small. Thanks again. I love you videos!
Rob this was a fantastic video. Loved a day (or two) on a road trip with you. And you included a walk to Rincon? Dude - Beach Boys would be stoked!! The shops are amazing. Wonderful resources for left coast quilters. Not to mention your ever-improving videography skills......A++++!!!
Rob, I enjoyed seeing two of my favorite quilt shops in this video. I love Roxann’s and Old Town in Orcutt. We have never been to the other two shops but they look great. Another quilt shop I enjoy is Super Buzzy in Ventura.💕
This is a Great video! Thank you for sharing it. I especially loved seeing the Singer Featherweights because my husband works on Vintage Sewing Machines and he specializes in those little gems! He's getting into painting them, but not as fancy as in this video. I have 3 Featherweights and one is painted. I love them all and yes, I use them sometimes. I also use the Singer Coffin Top Treadle made in 1889 in Scotland. Treadles are great for piecing quilts. You get a nice workout while making something beautiful. We have about 350 vintage sewing machines out in our barn, so if you need one, you know who to call. Me!
Mary Ellen Brennan Where?! 😃 I love treadles. I have a Singer 99 (electric)that needs a new "spring" for under the bobbin plate...know where I can get it?😁 Are the machines in your shop/shed working and in good shape? I'm in Teeneessee, so, California is too far. 😂
Fun time Rob! Any chance you can get to Quilt in a Day and visit Eleanor Burns? It would be fun to see you two together. I can only imagine the energy in that room!!
Love it...honestly when I saw 25 minutes I thought “oh I’ll just watch a few minutes and see what Rob is up to...” I ended up watching the whole thing. Very entertaining. Who is Kevin? LOL...When are you coming to Texas?

Truth is out, Rob is long winded, but slightly entertaining too, haha. Thanks for the support, love to y’all
What fun!
I’d love to see you up in Eastern Oregon and our cute quilt shops up here... La Grande, Baker, Nysa, and Ontario! 😃
That may happen very soon, talking about it already. Sisters, OR is just a few weeks away for me.
I like Rosie's quilt shop, my cat's name is Rosie. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Rosie’s is well worth the visit.
I’ve shopped all these quilt shops. Not in the same trip though!!
NAU lumberjacks! Woo hoo from Arizona
Go Team!
Nice airstream! See you in Sisters!
You got it!
I notice you bring that little wooden man with you
Oh his name is Mike!
You can tell you’re not in the Upper Plains! March is NOT shop hop weather!!! 😁😉
No, California coast, and always shop hop weather
You have to check out Creation Station in Buellton.
I know Dawn and Patrick, need to visit their shop, I hear it is wonderful.
OMG. I am so homesick. I grew up in Santa Barbara and know all these places. I'm a beach guru. So why am I in Arizona?
Now that is a question I can not answer, haha. Hope you get back to the beach soon.
I think it would be great if you were not the camera man.
Do tell more, you do not care for my camera work, or wish to see more of my smiling face?
