Great choice 👏 I've owned a brand new Interceptor since 2021 Absolutely brilliant, Mine is a Candy crush, I've got reverse cone mega Silencer's, DNA Air Filter, fuel X lite, and a 16 tooth cog conversion fitted, Absolutely ace, I do all my own service work, including Tappets, brakes ect 👍 The best Royal Enfield in the range by a long sea mile, Last year I also bought a new Hunter 350 , And put a DNA Air Filter on, fuel X lite, a Powerage Silencer 👍, And a 16 tooth cog conversion on that as well 👍, The Royal Enfields are superb bikes, I've been riding motorcycles for over 50 years, and to me they are the best bikes on the market, Squeaky brakes could probably be cured by a bit of copper slip behind the pads, I've fitted Sintered pads front and rear on my Interceptor, and I've done this, I never have any problems with them now 👍 Shame about your rear mudguard bit missing, and the handle bar cross piece also missing, looks a bit odd without 😢 Good video, Enjoy your Interceptor 👍 Cheers Paul 👍
I wish I'd known they were this good before! I did consider the Classic 350 but my son pretty much talked me out of it in the end. I think it was mainly the 20bhp he was thinking about. I agree the Royal Enfields are superb. Now the bikes are off the road for winter I can get on with little jobs such as sorting the brake squeak (thanks for the copper slip tip) and relocating the reg/rec to under the oil cooler. I do actually have the rear mudguard piece from the previous owner, I think I'll refit that over the winter. I don't have the crossbar though unfortunately. However I'm sure gool old eBay will sort that. Thanks for the comment and support on the channel. Looking forward to next riding season. We just have to get this dreary winter stuff out of the way first. Stay safe and thanks again 👍
@@paulkiley4667 Excellent Paul, As I said the Interceptor is one of best bikes I've ever owned, And over the years I've owned bike's like Honda CB 750 Four, CBX 1000 Six, Suzuki GSX1400 , And a list too long for here, But the Interceptor tick's all the boxes, And my Hunter is excellent for all year round riding if I need to, And as I said, both are great user Serviceable bike's, Hope you enjoy your Interceptor 👍 Cheers Paul 👍
@paulfoster5432 I've got my Tracer 900, a 1990 CBR600F and now the Interceptor. I'll agree the Interceptor is one cracking bike. It's a definite keeper👍
Hi mate, just joined your channel, I to was interested in a classic 350 but when my local dealer offered me a new bullet for £3950 I couldn't refuse. Love your bike, its definitely got the look of a 70s machine from the cockpit and sounds great, I'm holding back laying up for winter just in case we get a few mild December days, ride safe
@@stefanomonte-t9z Hi there and thanks for the sub. That's a good price you got there on the bullet. Another great bike from Royal Enfield. I agree on the 70's looks on the Interceptor, that's the main thing that drew me to it, and of course the sound. I was after a classic looking bike and that's exactly what I got! I may wait a little longer myself just in case we get the odd few mild days 👍
Yes December can give us a last opportunity before winter bites for real, I had considered an inty but pillion tend to complain there's little room on the back and I had to keep the mrs happy, now maybe an inty might be on the cards just for solo rides 😆 🤣
@stefanomonte-t9z Great ideab for solo rides! Wife isn't bothered about riding pillion so I pretty much get a free hand on the bikes I chose. Hopefully December will be slightly kind to us eh 👍
Paul nice bike iv got the continental-gt 650 iv just moved the rectifier from under the bike to just under the the oil cooler there's a kit you can buy its called the daddy cooler from james slick England he's got a you tube channel
@@theadventuresofbellatheenf4627 Great bikes aren't they? I've got the daddy cooler sat on my bench in the garage waiting to go on. I can get on with it now the weather has turned 👍
@paulkiley4667 well done it takes about 2h 30mins to fit gives the rectifier loads of air and stops it going wrong I love riding my continental-gt 650 keep safe mate out there if you do get out on the new bike
@@theadventuresofbellatheenf4627 Cheers mate! I'll get out if the temp rises slightly over the winter but we'll see on that one eh. I'll find plenty to do if I can't rides the bikes. Enjoy the Continental, stay safe.
