Honestly the hardest part of getting somewhere is being seen, there is not much that beats “free stuff here” and for programmers open source is exactly that while showing off your skills.
Agree 100%. But I'm a little surprised how much easier it was to get initial traction with open source compared to free but closed source. Even when the open source offering has much less functionality. I think it will flip once more video creators hear of the app.
That's amazing, thank you! I hope that my video editor can make people enjoy making edited videos. Even if they don't have prior experience making videos.

I used this, if you are doing commentary or cutting up your scripts before B roll, this app is amazing to use and I highly recommend it
Thanks Flesson :)
I'm not really the target audience for this but I watched the video and I'll check out your product. keep up the good work!

Amazing project man, first thank you for sharing and second: I need to try this asap.
Good luck!
Awesome, thank you!
I always have to cut out silent parts of my videos so gonna download the software and check it out! Thanks for your hard work
I make all my videos like this now. Cut the silence and refine with transcript and waveform. I like it very much
Thank you for opensourcing smartcut :)
No problem! thanks
You definitely need a tutorial mate or a TH-cam on how to use your software...
