I think they’re worth it. I’ve had mine for more than ten years and a few of them are just starting to fall apart. Used them on my daughter and a few friends too.
Girllll! l hope they sponsor this because l was searching everywhere for this type of comparison on reviews and on their website with no luck. Fantastic comparison and l am sure lt has led to MANY purchases of their product.
They won’t sponsor people who advertise them for free. I get what you mean, but you can’t ask for a sponsorship after the deed is done, you have to do it before.
This is THE best video on these curlers EVER. It let me see all the curlers in action so I can pick which ones I like. Thank you sooooo much for this video.
This was extremely helpful. I learned HOW to use these tubes on my daughters and I learned WHICH ONES to use. You gave this clueless dad so much help with his 3 daughters! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
I love you so much for putting the count of how many you had to use of each type. You da real MVP for that one. Extremely helpful. I bought 20 recently and.... Yeah, that might not work 😂
Yeah, I had to look out for you all! I know of those times where I had to run to Sally's with my hair in rollers or rods because I didn't have enough. If you have a big head like mine make sure you have enough.
This is nice. Now I know which to get. I liked the results of the extra wide barrel and the narrow (first and third). Thanks for doing the comparisons :)
Hi Whitney! I know I am late to the party but thank you so much for this tutorial. I have 3 questions I hope you can answer: 1. Did you start on freshly washed/conditioned hair? 2. What is your hair texture? 3. What is your hair’s porosity? I am asking the last 2 questions b/c I have type 4c, low porosity hair and whenever I do curlformers, my hair is always frizzy. I am trying to understand the best way to use them in my hair. Any advice you have would be great! And thank you again for this thorough video. I pick the corkscrew!
Just bought 2 sets of the corkscrew curlformers. Figured the smaller, tighter corkscrew may help my hair keep a curl. Just hope I don't end up with the frizzy "white girl" fro, but if I do....Ima rock it 😂. Great video!
I wasn't even aware there were different types. I knew there were different colours and that was it. I think I bought the narrow set, haven't opened the packaging yet, but after watching this, I definitely would have wanted the in between set.
This by far is the best tutorial I've seen on the CurlFormers! I love the spiral and the corkscrew affect, for my hair the barrel is a little too large, I don't like the roots looking as obvious as they are, however, you rocked all three sizes!!👍🏼 the reason I was drawn to looking at your tutorial, is because your hair type is exactly the same hair type that I have. The other tutorials don't have my hair quality so I can't relate to the results that they get, however, your hair type looks natural, Non- relaxed and that's my hair type. beautiful job,... your hair is gorgeous! Do you mind sharing the recipe for your shea butter? I'm trying to create my own that doesn't cause my hair to frizz in between washes. Also, how long can you keep your curls before your next wash? I am definitely subscribing to your Channel! 🤗😍
The extra wide set has a very seductive, exotic look. The narrow set was much more playful. The medium set was...ok looking. I guess the mood would describe the set needed. Great tutorial!
I use curlformers, magic curls and leverags.... Which all have the same purpose.... The narrow curlformers are basically called corkscrew.... And yes you will need about 60- 80 to 100 in your hair it's very time consuming but the results are beautiful as you can see. I no longer have to blow dry my hair, I go straight from wet hair into roller set. obviously if you plan to go out the same day I would highly recommend you start very early in the morning and then sit under the hood dryer making sure that your roots are dry before removing the rollers, or put them in early let them dry for at least 8 hours then finish off under the hood dryer then go out for the evening. I've tried different ways of doing this from using curling cream products, holding gel, setting lotion moose. To be honest I could honestly say that the leave in conditioner, then apply oil then apply setting moose, the results will come out really soft and bouncy. The style should last at least one week before the curls start to fall out. Shop around and look at cheaper versions as well as original curlformers. Hair flair is a great company who care about their customers.. When you join they will offer you 15% off which really helped... Try and get as many inserting rods as possible and pre insert the curlformers prior to using them on your head for a quicker process. If you have short hair down to your ears I would recommend ordering size short, if your hair touches your shoulder I would recommend long, hair that goes down to your bra will be very long and anything past your lower back will be extra long. and of course it is possible to use two rods on one section of hair. It's best to sleep in these possibly placing a towel on your pillow. obviously if you enjoy going to the gym working out, or you live in hot climate then the curls will not last very long so it's best to use gel or firm holding products. But using these type of products will make your hair go dry and itchy. So that's why I prefer oil and setting lotion...These will be really great on young kids as I know young girls want to have freedom in their hair and they are looking for the more relaxed look so putting these into a ponytail would be great. Very nice for the mature lady who enjoys going to church or to work with lovely curls in her hair... These can also be used on dreadlocks, wigs and weaves. But generally an excellent style for those who are growing out their relaxer transitioning into natural hair. If you have really thick hair then it's best to take your time and use as many rollers to get the right equal effect...make sure that you comb out each section of hair properly smoothing it down with products before inserting each roller. Very fine hair will need less rollers. Make sure your ends are trimmed on a regular basis. If you are doing this on your own head it will take on average 2-hours that's why it's better to get a friend or family member to help out.
I love the narrow corkscrew set and which I have, I also have the barrel curlformers which comes in purple but I'm in love with the corkscrew....beautiful and thanks for sharing!!!
This was super helpful! I couldn't decide between the spiral set and the corkscrew set but I think the spiral set will give me the look I'm going for. Thanks!
ParisIn85 ok, your results were so pretty I decided to revisit and just received from bootlegs 😀 how many days were you able to keep each hairstyle using your DIY whipped Shea butter?
Awesome video! I've been thinking about getting these for my daughter and this is by far the most helpful video I've watched on the subject. Well done, and thanks for the help. Your video editing skills are impressive!
I wish i had found this video before my purchase😩 i spent hours laboring over which set to get lol I ended up with the narrow ones we'll see how it goes tonight. Wish me luck yall 🤞🏾
thank you so much! curl formers are pricey and kind of a big investment of time and money. Thank you for showing us what they can do for 4c hair. I loved the narrow set curls!
I am trying to go natural and cut back on using heat I’m hoping these will be an option for styling my hair with no heat your video was the best I’ve seen on how to use these thanks
Girl!! Each see was beautiful. ❤️ You could have walked out the door with no separating and been on point 👊🏾 I'm torn between the 2nd and third as favs. I'd like to sit under dryer any setting lotions you find to be good? Tried lotta body foaming and it flakes like crazy on me. Thank you for sharing. Curlformers ought to pay you. Best tut I've seen.
Corkscrew looks the most youthful and “natural”! I love it💞 the Barrel is nice too, I think the barrel would look best brushed out and wrapped for a silk press type of look... the Spiral is a NO, old fashioned looking... anyways, tfs🥰
Woooow I was speechless how amazing and helpful this video was. I loved the last two sets Wide Slash Spiral Set & Narrow Slash Corkscrew Set. Those two were my favorite. I’m subscribing to your channel now. I’m gonna buy the last two I mentioned and will try them out. Thank you very much!!! 😄😍😚👏🏾👏🏾
Curlformers are not cheap. You are The G.O.A.T. for doing this for us. 🙏🏽
Great camera angles and detailed explanations. THANK YOU!
Aww! Thank you!
Aliexpress has good deals on the products ($5.00 usd) but they charge shipping by the pack. Still it may be less than the $60 I've seen in stores.
Dizzylemon Ebay too
Sophia V I don’t even want to buy 2 sets LOL
I think they’re worth it. I’ve had mine for more than ten years and a few of them are just starting to fall apart. Used them on my daughter and a few friends too.

They're all gorgeous of course, but I have to say my favorite was the narrow set.

You are more than welcome!
This helped me purchased the set I want.
Now see I came here looking for advice on which ONE to buy and left wanting to buy all three and the dang whipped shea butter!
Loved the narrow/corkscrew set the most and that is the set I was wanting to see the least! Thank you for showing us how beautiful they are.
I’m so happy it helped!
You have the most gorgeous hair! I think they all looked great, but my favorite is probably the narrow set.

Narrow was my favorite!!!

thank you for this video extremely helpful with my decision :)
I'm so happy it helped!
You have so much patience! I have the spiral curlees, and I thought I needed more, but 40 takes long enough! I think that the barrel curls look great~
This is the best video I've seen. You are very thorough. Thanks for showing all of the sizes and results
Barrel/Extra wide
Thanks for the tutorial ❤loved the airy bounce of the curls. They all were beautiful. I'm going for the large spiral. 🎉🎉🎉
For anyone who needed a specific curl:
Yellow and Pink: 5:57
Orange and pink: 6:24
Green and blue: 6:58
Thanks! :)
ParisIn85 no problem, thankyou for making the video! It was amazing
That turned out so pretty. I love curly natural hair. I think this is like magic!
Thank you!
Just bought 2 sets of the corkscrew curlformers. Figured the smaller, tighter corkscrew may help my hair keep a curl. Just hope I don't end up with the frizzy "white girl" fro, but if I do....Ima rock it 😂. Great video!

Thanks and thanks for subscribing! I keep the curls in for a week before washing. I have a recipe for the shea butter on my channel.
Natural hair is stunning😍and I love the after results too u really can do anything with natural hair!
Corkscrew and spiral are my favorite. I'm ordering now. Thanks for the recipe
Narrow with side part looked really good. Tip for separation with narrow curlformers....separate as you remove the curlers.
Definitely the best demonstration I've seen so far. My hair might be too short for now, but someday I will get to try them.
Thank you!
The extra wide set has a very seductive, exotic look. The narrow set was much more playful. The medium set was...ok looking. I guess the mood would describe the set needed. Great tutorial!
Why doesn't this video have 1mil views?? The best curlformer video
I hope you got paid for this as was amazing
Lol! Thank you!

Girl!! Each see was beautiful. ❤️ You could have walked out the door with no separating and been on point 👊🏾 I'm torn between the 2nd and third as favs. I'd like to sit under dryer any setting lotions you find to be good? Thanks so much, +Sograteful 2012! I haven't tried any setting lotions yet. Thanks for watching! :)
Yayyy! I'm happy that you enjoyed and found that the video was helpful. I hope you love you hair after using them.
