they changed something, nothing moves when you move the hook after playing animation. It works if youre NOT animation and still on frame 0(or 1)

Hello,
I am trying to reproduce a gymnast ribbon. Your video is very good but I can't exactly achieve the effect I need. Since I can't send you links here I'll show you reference images if you want. The idea would be to animate the cloth along a spiral. I did it but the results are both a bit strange and not user friendly. I build a cloth like you did. I build a spiral I attached an empty to the spiral and the cloth to the empty with the vertex group and all that. Still not satisfied. Would you care to make a tutorial on this?
