Now Kmart has 2 stores left in the continental US, a few stores in the Virgin Islands, one store in Guam and a large handful of stores in Australia and New Zealand. Pity they haven't expanded to the UK. It would help get them back on their feet and give Tesco, Morrisons and Aldi etc. some real competition if it happened now.

And, this Kmart is still in pristine condition! Like, turn key and open up. That sounded like a store's emergency generator running. If it was, it probably kicked in as soon as the electric company cut power.
Wow someone left money as in equipment and fixtures that didn't make it to Eddie Lamperts pocket. I wonder what happened to the products left in the half full store in Minneapolis, MN after the rioting. The city decided to repurpose it instead of tear it down so I guess blocking off the road with a store was a good idea afterall.
