very cool man to break it all down for everybody. ive been wanting to get into more complex props but never had the financial means. for the cost and the ease of programming this is a big deal for me appreciate it!
okay im having trouble maybe it just late... i have everything working correctly but the relays doesnt seem to be powering my lights, do they not gather power from the board or do i need to run power to each relay?
Have to say once I got my first one done programming it was fairly easy I was shocked, I even put the software on a laptop and after I had my zombie containment area done my brother and nephew said it needs more air blasts and make the light flicker more.. so I brought the laptop out to the maze where the zombies were set up with the controller that was mounted in place, i then hooked up my laptop and stood there and added in more flickering, and more air blasts.. uploaded and bam done. Ahh yes i just heard you talk about hooking up the laptop in the field in video as i am typing this. :)
See, I knew you'd figure it out ... just have to play around with it. It's very simple yet does some pretty cool stuff. I have enough parts to build a few more. It gets really interesting when you connect a few controllers together and have them trigger together.
+Montclair's Lair Basically you would take one of the 4 channels and use that as the trigger for the next controller in line. You would be using the relay to close the circuit of the trigger input. If that makes sense.
Graves Of The Groves Oh sh*t, that's brilliant! And painfully obvious now that you point it out, LOL!. Not sure why that didn't occur to me. Sweet! Oh, now I know why. Will those relays work on switching low DC voltage too?
How many amps or watts will the relays on the circuit board run? Or would you just hook those relays to a larger relay to run? lets say a 110v air value to actuate a pneumatic cylinder? And where can I buy one? What is the name of the program to download on to my PC?
Straight from TH-cam! Download FreeTH-cam Downloader, search for the sound effects, and you can download just the audio (MP3) I find a lot from video games. If you do get that program, pay attention when you are installing because it will try to add on a whole lot of other crap you dont want.

so i’m making a interactive prop for christmas. is there a way to use a external switch to trigger chanel’s to start playback?
I have the problem of having no options to select in Serial Port. How did you fix this?

So what you are saying is that his is a 5 beer project?
+greeg1358 At least. But I ran out =/

+The Pirates of North Court Yeah it wasn't bad at all! Know I just need a descent enclosure that doesn't cost ten bucks lol
+The Pirates of North Court Oh, that sounds interesting! How would you accomplish connecting them together?
+Montclair's Lair i'm not exactly sure yet LOL

1 Beer, 2 beers, 3 beers, 4 beers, 5 BEERS!! What, couldn't finish a whole 6 pack?
+Wehrlybird Productions (Adam Owens) #6 was to celibate a successful controller afterwards!

Cool thanks for the sharing. Otherwise, where did you got all your ambient sounds?
