Ah, I watched this with a different title on Channel 4. Stonkingly good series, (and as it happens there are others from Nordic countries available alongside it which are well worth watching.) This renowned actor with the glasses here is so impressive, I couldn’t take my eyes off him.

The director has a habit of jumping to each detective's personal life not relevant to the story. If the director is reading this, you should have separate movies to each detective's life.
The detective's personal lives are relevant to the story, they show how the cops "life" affects their professional relationships with colleagues. **spoiler**: the cheating hungover-cop waking up late, missing stuff on the case, the childless cop taking time off the case to have adoption appointment...it adds to the story--their own back story.

This is one of the worst filming of a nevertheless interesting story I have ever seen. So not about the story per se, but about the disarray and hard-to-follow storyline, where no cat could find her kitten again.
