Finally!! This is the first video with clear and precise instructions ive heard on this particular topic. And believe me I have been through so many on here! Thanks a lot, will help with my future uploads.
Great video mate 👊 I'm quite advanced in setting livestreams and recordings up, and i can say that your video covers pretty much everything. I love the mouse thing on the left hand side of the screen, never thought of that :)) 👊🔥
Thank yooou! I was really struggling of the thought about how to get my recorded build in dj set aline with the video that i will record! Thank you so much
Hi mate, I’m looking into video recording my vinyl dj sets at home. Just a couple of things I need to know really. 1 - What sort of camera do I need for recording? I’m just looking basic. 2 - How do I get the best sound quality from the mix? Would I need an output from my mixer, or I’ve got a Scarlet interface actually? Do I need to input the signal to the recording device? I could really do with some clarity on this please. Thanks Andy
Yo yo yo. To get the very best quality you want to use an actual video camera vs say a webcam. All depends on your budget? Lighting makes the biggest difference to be honest. If you have an Iphone and lights you can get great quality. Yes, you want to record your "line out" or "aux" channel from the mixer. If you have an interface, that will be perfectly fine to record to your laptop.
@@BeatsBeneath Thanks for your reply Si. Yes, I have an iPhone 8, not the best. When recording with an iphone on a tripod stand let’s say, is there going to be any delay in the sound vs the actual video? Will I only need the required RCA adapters to go into the iphone and then I’m away to record? I’ve been looking at the evermix box 4
Hey mate, amazing video! What if you’re using a second camera for moving shots and only recording 30sec-60 secs each time? Can you sync the audio then?
I've got a pretty beastly computer so I'm OK. Look up optimised media or proxy work flow. You basically have to transcode the media down to something more manageable and sub the proper footage back in at the end
Quick question. Is there cable that goes from the Pioneer DJM750 MK1 into a samsung A51 mobile to get the best audio possible for a live video set on facebook or twitch. I use 1210s with the DJM750 MK1. I know it has a built in sound card but I dont want to go down the traktor or serato route, kind of hoping its just some sort of converter cables.
I think you need an RCA cable so you can take the feed from your booth output. You then want a TRS to TRSS cable to convert the signal to be useable by your phone. I actually did a vid on this. It's called "how to Livestream using your phone" or something like that. 👍
This is exactly what I needed...I've been asking so many people and they just tell me what they use, instead of how to do it
Nice one!

I guess no reason why not other than it could lead to issues when syncing as there's so many clips to do
Nice
thank you!!
No worries! Hope it helps
Great vid!
Cheers! 👍
Hi there! What do you do to prevent video playback lag in Resolve?
