😂🤣 Thank you, yeh merch and click bait title seem to be all the rage at the minute lol! We are lucky tho, it's not our main income so we can be free with what we do. Hi Lou,,, I haven’t been through all the comments but your 240v socket that’s too low,,, you can turn it upside down then you don’t have to bend the cable,,
At 5:00 on the video you mentioned the toilet and it lasts about 2 days and in the UK especially there are limited emptying point. My question is, where are the limited emptying point in the UK? We are now full time on the road and haven’t come across any emptying point at all in the UK and we have the Thetford C403 toilet which lasts us using it as a normal toilet 4 days max. Please let me know how you can empty it free stuff those limited emptying points and also where to refill freshwater free also 😁
Hi there, that's what we are saying, it's extremely limited! There are some free ones in Scotland and Northern Ireland as these countries of the UK seem a bit more open to it (or were, that may change) We use small sites to fill up normally so do the odd night on a campsite and this year so far we are using them a lot. You can sometimes find water at graveyards and ask at service stations/garages if it must be free. We built our van to travel in full time, mostly abroad where they have systems in place, we can't do that right now cos of covid but once it opens up again that's what we will be doing, I think full time living in the UK getting free services is not realistic right now ☹️
No need to revamp the van because of the weight distribution and Emily's fears. Just install training wheels on the right side. You can hang them from a pivot so they swing out when Emily Schumacher leans the van too far to the right. 😁 Problem solved! 👌 Pleasant journeys and above all STAY SAFE! 🏁🚐❤️😷
Lightweight panels can be easily made by getting some 1" x ½" softwood, make a square/rectangular frame and glue formica sheets on to it then fill with that spray foam stuff to fill in the void. Sturdy, functional and weighs very little.
You could replace the fridge with a dometic fridgebox on a slideout tray, much more energy efficient, you could get a bigger one, it has freeze compartment if you want, and it is loaded from the top. Regaridng the weight, I don't think it is as bad as it feels, and you don't stove heavy things in the overhead anyway. And finally for the shower, you could get a shower tray (store in the garage, strapped upside down under the bed), and put hooks for a curtain around the roof-vent then you ventilate out the steam, get a few inches better clearance above the head for people who didn't stand under the kitchen table whwn they grew up... (Em)
I’m now getting the impression that you thought you were done with the build. I love your build. I thought upgrades were eternal. Gradually making changes as you live in it. One change I’ve made to my plans is I’m putting a root drawer under my fridge so the fridge is higher. Bad back no knees. I want a wet room/bathroom/shower combo because I want to be able to hang wet clothes and not have to set up a shower. We all must build to our individual wants and needs. I will be living in mine full time with two cats when I retire so I need a few more creature comforts. Everyone else’s ‘mistakes’ help me with my build adjustments. Cheers from Canader eh!
I built a full shower room and its been great. We don't use it much when we are away from services to save water but my shower room is heated from the diesel heater and it makes it ideal for drying wet towels and coats etc. The hot water comes from those small propane gas water heaters. Mine is fixed to the outside of the shower wall next to and cut into the worktop.
You are definitely right, got to build to your own standards and needs for sure as everybody's is different, after all it would be pretty boring if we were all the same right 😆😁
Ok, here is my idea, ;- I would do away with the cupboards above the bed, and turn the bed area into a huge (length ways) dining table/bench settee/bed area by reconfiguring to create a step-up platform (mezzanine) = this will create more space underneath for storage, the only slight downside is you will have to make the bed every night, but it means you have somewhere to lounge (liedown) or eat or to watch movies or open the back doors for scenic views + leaving the option for you to have two single or one double bed if you want to, I would also build some cupboards next to the toilet seat to house the fridge at waist height = overall weight will be redistributed a little. Also, why not buy some of those black 10 litre shower bags and fill with hot water from the kettle (create some slots at ceiling height to house them to have a hot shower?
You could put the batteries and water tank on the left side of the van, and not worry about moving all of the overhead units that aren't that heavy anyway. Great vid. 👍
Installing a shower was on the top of the list when we started our build. Rommy couldn't imagine a camper without it. We use it also as a toilet room for our ( big 😉) removable toilet. So maybe you can combine the shower/bigger toilet also and save space. By the way, love your video's a lot!! Greetings from Sweden!
Lou temporary solution for three pin socket mistake, remove three pin socket facia and revolve it 180 degrees so it is upside down and resecure. Socket is now upside down but cables plug in with cables now facing upwards.
Hi Paul, a few have suggested this now so I think I will swap it round. Someone suggested it's dangerous tho but I can't really see too much what the problem would be. Thanks so much for watching 😁👍
I dont remember how many batteries you have, but that would be my first thing to move, ok, pain in the bum extending some of the cables, but its all out of sight so easier to do. then as someone else mentioned, move Emilys snack cupboard. we learn by our mistakes and hopefully someone else doing a build will now think about weight before building, its so easy to get carried away and not realise how heavy things are. Good to see AJ getting about a bit. Stay safe girls🌝
Hey, we are going to swap them out for lithium I think and have 2 instead of 3 which will be a massive help for sure. It's great being able to get Aj out again 😁🐕
Always waiting and looking forward to your videos. Well filmed and edited as always! You've got me thinking about the shower thing in my build. I wasn't going to have one but now not so sure.
Been following your vlogs for a while b4 your van broke down in Spain and enjoy them we also have an old Campervan and have had it 2 years and we enjoy wild camping ,take care and stay safe too.
Hi Ladys composting loo might be a thought for the future & also take it in turns to empty it ? If and when you get another van dual wheels on the back end gives you the extra weight plus stability can also get you out of the sticky stuff one day. Noticed a lot of self builders use a lot of timber so weights realy build up fast hence why a lot of campers use carpet linner to get around this heavy problem, cuboards up top are for lightweight cornflakes etc not tinned products think marine and get the centre of gravity low as possable at all times and lastly dont get fat or the weighbrige will show overweight Lol ! nice to see you happy & on the road again Ladys.
Thanks, yeah wood is a nice look in the van, fortunately we used poplar ply which is super lightweight compared to standard ply which has helped massively. Think the main thing for us which will help loads is swapping out the batteries for sure, love your tips and tricks though 🙂🙂
Brilliant vid as ever, quite a lot of people carry a spare toilet cassette, until the rejig might be worth looking out for a used porta potti and just using its cassette as your second....... They are that gives you something to go on! Keep on keeping on kids!
Hi Andy, yeh we have looked for a spare cassette, it's frustrating as Thetford don't sell them on their own, you have to buy the whole toilet!! Thanks for the suggestion, not sure I could go second hand on a toilet, I don't know why cos I would on most other things 😂🤣 Thanks so much for watching 😁👍
Hi guys, another great video, great to see A.J. looking so well. Hopefully you are going to the Overland Show at the weekend, would be great to say hello. Take care guys xx
I had the same issue with a plug socket when I ballsed up the height of the kitchen unit.. Simple solution.. Put the socket upside down 🙃 no more squished cables
Hey ya all had a live and I missed it???? Danggg…. Sorry would have loved to say hi….hopefully on your next one ☝️…Emily your a riot😂♥️ . I should wait to comment until the end of video but it gets me every time… I’m hooked 🎣 Can’t wait for your next one 🦦
Hi Melissa, don't worry you haven't missed a live, we haven't done one recently, we did do a show here in the UK tho which was great! So glad you like the videos and thanks so much for watching 😁👍
Hi, I made same mistake with electric sockets but managed to get round it by undoing the two screws on the sides, pulling the front off and turning it upside down. Not perfect but it did the job. Cheers, Griff.
I've had a Roast dinner. So today must be Sunday. So I'll see you at Stratford before the next roast dinner/Sunday thingie. Take no notice of Mandy, I don't need a calender or a watch come to that, I'm on eternity leave. Stay safe.
Camper van or caravan, there will always be compromises of one type or another. It comes down to how long you can live with them. I think this is one of the most professionally assembled channels out there, combining comedy, cinematography and infotainment by a highly watchable double act. Good on you Camper Vibe.
It is often said that people tend to get their perfect design on their 3rd conversion 😉. As far as the shower / toilet room goes, it's a massive decision and affects the whole layout and feeling of spaciousness....personally I would not build a van without one...but that's my preference....I do like to do my business with a door firmly shut 😂😂. For the fridge, Thetford do the 1090 which is designed to be raised up and is cut away to follow the contours of a panel Van conversion. They work pretty well. For solar panel installation on a boxer / relay / Ducato, Thule do a roof rail kit that spans the entire roof. You can then fit either roof bars side to side, or solar panels. The roof rail system is fully compatible with Thule awnings as well. We pretty much fit these to every conversion we do.
😂🤣 One more to go then and I should be done lol, oh no, wait I'm married, I'll never be finished lol!! I've looked at the roof rack you suggest and combined with the cost of the wind out awning you're soon way over a grand, for something which I hear is terrible in the wind and the rain, so I think I'll try and find an alternative, we will hardly use it to be honest, it's just for when staying on campsites. Thank you so much for watching 😁😁👍
@@campervibe my van would never be finished either if it wasn't my business😉. You can fit the roof rails without an awning. I think they are about £300. We have made similar using aluminium profile but it's generally still better to buy the proper ones. Awnings are one of those things, that if you are travelling around a lot, they hardly get used. But quite nice for a bit of shade for the side door, or more likely in the UK...preventing the rain coming in😆😆.
Arh some good points girls and they do say that it takes 3 builds to get a van right. I took my time building mine so like to think i didn't make too many mistakes. I'm just finishing the last job, cutting and fitting the wall panels.
Brilliant vlog. And all done in your traditional lighthearted amazing way. Absolutely fantastic to watch. Well done girls 👌 And big up to AJ as always 🐕
Great video as always as others have said well done for not going down the clickbait route, If you moved your batteries and fresh water tank to the other side you would compensate for your weight on one side ,,so maybe install under the dog bed as water and batteries are the one of the biggest weights your carrying, just an idea for you
Yeah want to stay away form that stuff really. Yeah going to change the batteries for lithium but the water and waste is underslung even across the van so can't move them 🙂👍
I cant believe how fast the black waste fills, especially how much we pee!!! one of the things surprised us.... we have decided to go shewee plus a 3.78litre water bottle... means less emptying of main cassette, and easier to empty the bottle in normal toilets..... cheers glen, nicola and Bertie the staffy
Hi girls so good to see AJ back in the van ,Lou you made a great job of the van it's only after you've lived in it for a wee while you realise what you could have done different ,
Yeahhhhh…..oh man that was fast 💨…..Great to see you girls and Aj… Lou was just making sure she had something to do for another build. Job security ya know. Love your video ♥️
I just friggin love you two out of all the utubers your the most like real telly LOU the photography fuckin incredible!!!!!!! I actually feel like lm there so happy to see AJ IS on the mend Emily how much you two love each other is priceless you are truly works of art and together a breathtaking MASTERPIECE thank you so much for sharing your incredible journey many blessings from TARN in Canada 🍁 xox
I don't have a van yet, but have been thinking of layout and especially a shower, and I have an idea as how to do a store away shower that takes up the least amount of space, van build will hopefully happen once I have finished the house.
@@campervibe I was thinking more of a pack away system that could be used in a variety of ways, but can be quickly and easily set up in the van when needed.
Would you maybe have the capacities to house a spare cassette for your Toilet until you get a chance to rebuilt the setup? Alternative a compost toilet might be a option
That double leccie socket can be fixed by changing it to two singles side by side and each rotated 90 degrees, it would look odd but the wires would not be crushed on the counter. Get a spare cassette for the loo? I would have a top-loading 'fridge every time, so much easier, and all the cold air does not fall out when you open it.
Great Vlog lol just move Emily`s snack cupboard to the other side and add more on. Good ideas to note on camper van builds and things you would change, we had the same thing weight on all right side you don`t realise at the time of the build. Lovely to see handsome AJ. Good luck Lou with the revamp and still Em will want something else changing. Take care guys , love to you all xx
I'm not that bad 🤣 it will be awhile I should think till we do anything, it's just stuff to note really for anyone doing a build and for future builds of our own 😀😀 AJ has loved this weekend, think he went a little too hard though and has been sleeping all day
The way you two throw shade at each other is hilarious. Thank you for sharing those things that didn't work and why. Now you know exactly what you'll do differently. Louise, are you more comfortable with the electrics? You two are awesome. A.J. is looking very cozy in his van bed. I'm glad he's doing better.
Another brilliant video. Emily’s eye roll at the mention of ‘Fanny’ was hilarious 😂 You live and learn with a van build, the tweaking never really stops especially when you’ve done it yourself 😀👍🏼
That’s the thing with self builds I found , once you have been out and used the layout you will always find things that you think, I should of don’t that different. I done the exact same thing with my build used it last year and just didn’t feel it was right, then I had a leak in the sky light which gave me the push to rip out and start again, now the layout works so much better for us .
Hi Emily & Louise. Great video. Interesting comment on the fridge. I have seen some TH-cam videos where self builders have used chest freezers and converted them to fridges quite easily. The advantages are they are far better insulated and therefore use far less power as they come on less often. Also they do not lose cold air when the door is opened as the cold air drops to the bottom of the storage area as does not rise up when you open the lid. I saw one video when they attached door runners so they could slide it out to access and then push it back out of the way with the additional advantage that the top could be used as an additional kitchen work surface. You don't seem to have made many mistakes. Your van interior looks great. Good to see AJ with you on your travels. Best wishes.
Thanks Barry yeh a chest option may have been better with hindsight 👍 AJ is well on the mend now and we reckon will soon be running round like a loon any time now 😁😁👍
Hi, We finished our conversion nearly a year ago and are at the same stage where we are thinking of some changes/additions that we want to make. Just to let you know if it helps at all, that we have got our solar panel mounted to the same roof rack as yours and also have a fiamma f45 awning using the standard ducato brackets. It all fits nicely with the normal ducato fitting kit - you shouldn't need special roof rack fixings. The awning mounts to the lugs on each end of the roof, and the solar panel on the 2 middle ones (can take pics if you want). We have a hidden shower tray under a false lift up floor in the side door entry. It was awkward to fit around the exhaust and slide out step, but managed to find a drain point. Thanks for your videos, we always find them helpful. We watched your videos when building ours and it helped us loads with the woodwork! Stevie and Mike 😊
Hi there, hope you've had a good trip 😁😁 our problem is we don't have the space in the gap I built for the toilet, it's tight as it is, I think I'll have to have a re design, then I can get that bigger toilet 😁👍
@@campervibe Another solution would be to get a second base same size and store in the back. But then you'd have 2 to empty each time 😅 Love your vlogs and you both do a fab job putting them together 😍
not a bad list of niggles for a self build [ pat on back lou] . 2 " Bs" for me, bog + balance. tins of food + beverages are the weighty items to keep low down if possible, [ on our caravan we found a load of wasted space around the wheelarch tubs, ideal for slipping the tin cans around in a sort of circle, a little access door + stickon led lamp - enough tins for a family of 5 for two weeks] + move the cupboards / batteries over. 2 separate sockets are wider than a double so will need adaption to backbox fitting mind. at work we got shallow landscape A4 transparent plastic jobcard pouches which screw to wall, should be big enough to chuck your rechargeables in + get them out of way [ well apart from emms vibrator battery pack]. when its raining + stuck inside van, how about a" challenge pissed emms" episode, playing kids games like buckaroo or operation. definitely watch that. keep up the good work girls + plot a course for the zipwire.
Just a taught, if u moved the battery’s to the other side of fanny, and the diesel tank is on that side too, (I think, it on that side on my transit) that should balance it up. If you put the fridge up high above where aj sits and get the four corners weight I think it would be spot on, can’t beat a good rummage around in fancy 👍😂🇮🇪
😂🤣 No you definitely can't beat a good old fanny rummage lol, you're right!! Diesel tank is up front in mine, central under the cab. I think we may swap out the 3 agms for 2 lithium at some point to save on the weight that way. Thanks Thomas 😁😁👍
KUDOS for sharing! Mo beers, eh? :) Great to see you and AJ again, and yes, even us shorter people would have trouble tunnelling in fridge, let alone Louise.... All the BEST to both of you and AJ ! Cheers from across the pond! :)
@@campervibe Thanks again! Just saw this video of Olypmic National Forest in my back yard and thought of you two:) Cheers! : ) th-cam.com/video/bU58YlOs4YI/w-d-xo.html
Nice one girls 👍. Emily 🍻🍻🍻 as a newt Revamping mine at the moment, watch out Lou every job seems to take longer than the original build. Good luck with it Lou. Cheers girls 🍻
Just a thought...overhead lockers on the other side loaded with snacks would balance things out a bit! Great vlog as ever...if your bored Lou, mines still just over half way done, buy hopefully with these little tips I may get it finished...next year?? Mick
😂🤣 If I did that I'd be way over weight lol!! You know she'd ram them full of snickers and pringles etc!! I'm sure you'll get the build done soon, at least the weather's on your side now for a while 😁👍
Lovely to see you three again 💕🐾. I think your van looks great and I really admire everything that you have done - so clever, but I understand the need for a revamp. As far as the toilet goes, I had to empty ours today and it was so heavy, I could barely lift it! I think our van is also a bit heavier on one side - going round a left hand bend, I thought it was going over - or maybe I was just going too fast! Always enjoy your videos, thank you. 💕🐾
Hi ladies no mention of snack storage space or the small trailer behind that must be part of the rebuild🤩🤩. No point in drinking 🍺🍺 unless it affects you. Thanks stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Great vid as always girls, a lot to think about when doing a build . I totally get the electric FEAR ….that’s what’s putting me off doing a self build myself . I have however just bought a van conversion … 2010 Renault Trafic L2H2….. so far so good ….keep up the amazing content .
I highly recommend a separating toilet especially if you're planning more travels to Europe. Since we changed to our separating toilet we are off grid for so much longer. No more chemicals either which is great environmentally. Kildwick have a mini loo which we use and lasts for about 5 days. Don't have to keep finding the special places to empty and lots of places in Europe actually have septic tanks and the chemical loos do them know good. Been travelling full time for over 2 years and 20 years of motorhoming and 100 best thing we did was to get the separating loo. We are now environmentally friendly and much easier to stay off grid in Europe 👍👍😘
Hello Emily Louise aj and is it summer lol hope your all doing good great video and tell you what sounds like you have got your work cut out with changing a few things lol and sounds a big job hope you can get it how you want it lol take care all the best
@@campervibe bless I watched the video you said you got a trip planned were you going to glad your all OK and we are fine thank you and I'm very busy myself I got another 3 camping trips booked lol over next few months plus getting this sorted and research for my TH-cam next year and try and get a new job in next couple of weeks so it's none stop lol
One quickish solution for to much weight on one side would be to extend the main battery cables and relocate the batteries to the other side of the van and of Course Em's snack cupboard.
I was impressed by Kieran and Alice building the Luton van conversion. And like you two, a lovely, supremely talented couple.

Hi ya, yeah we will be there, definitely say hello 👋😊
I had the same issue with a plug socket when I ballsed up the height of the kitchen unit.. Simple solution.. Put the socket upside down 🙃 no more squished cables
Perfect solution 😁👍
Nice to see all three of you out again :)
So nice yo be out 😁
Hey ya all had a live and I missed it????
You are our favs another hilarious vlog thanks guys.
Hope AJ is doing ok 👌
Cheers Mick, yeah he doing doing well thanks
Hi, I made same mistake with electric sockets but managed to get round it by undoing the two screws on the sides, pulling the front off and turning it upside down. Not perfect but it did the job.
Cheers, Griff.
Cheers Griff 👍😁
I've had a Roast dinner. So today must be Sunday. So I'll see you at Stratford before the next roast dinner/Sunday thingie. Take no notice of Mandy, I don't need a calender or a watch come to that, I'm on eternity leave. Stay safe.
At least your know what day to have a roast on 😆 see ya next week
Nice one guys great video and great laugh 😂 yes I put one cabinet over the other side and the batteries over the other side too.
Always thinking max 😁
Camper van or caravan, there will always be compromises of one type or another. It comes down to how long you can live with them.
I think this is one of the most professionally assembled channels out there, combining comedy, cinematography and infotainment by a highly watchable double act. Good on you Camper Vibe.
Thanks Roger, that's very kind of you to say so and yeah you're right definitely have to compromise on something
Hi sorry I do miss you two love your vids , ATM life got in the way , live life the way you do X
Thanks kaz, life can be like that sometimes 😁👍
A really useful video to those of us dreaming of van life
Great to see Aj . Hope you both well .
We are good thank you, hope you are also, AJ is loving being out this weekend 😀
Been watching you 2 for a while now love your video’s keep them coming
Thank you 😀
Arh some good points girls and they do say that it takes 3 builds to get a van right.
I took my time building mine so like to think i didn't make too many mistakes.
I'm just finishing the last job, cutting and fitting the wall panels.
Very nice, bet you will be glad once its done. I also think that as you get older your taste and the way you want things changes as well 🤔
Always a thumbs up for the best girls and the star of the show, AJ 👍
Onwards and upwards girls. Keep it going and keep living the dream 😍
Why thank you and we will 😁
Brilliant vlog. And all done in your traditional lighthearted amazing way. Absolutely fantastic to watch. Well done girls 👌 And big up to AJ as always 🐕
AJ says Hi 🐕🐕 thanks 😊
Great video as always as others have said well done for not going down the clickbait route,
If you moved your batteries and fresh water tank to the other side you would compensate for your weight on one side ,,so maybe install under the dog bed as water and batteries are the one of the biggest weights your carrying, just an idea for you
Yeah want to stay away form that stuff really. Yeah going to change the batteries for lithium but the water and waste is underslung even across the van so can't move them 🙂👍
Don’t worry about the weight distribution, just make sure Lou sits on the left and you’ll be fine!
🤣😂🤣 This is very true lol!
The one thing you should not change is yourselves I love you two
I see AJ looking fit (as well as Ems posterior )
As always love and hugs
Dave
😂🤣 Thanks dave, em will appreciate that lol! Yeh AJ is doing well 😁😁🐶
I cant believe how fast the black waste fills, especially how much we pee!!! one of the things surprised us.... we have decided to go shewee plus a 3.78litre water bottle... means less emptying of main cassette, and easier to empty the bottle in normal toilets..... cheers glen, nicola and Bertie the staffy
I know its surprising isn't it, pee bottles seem to be the way forward for many 🙂
Hi girls so good to see AJ back in the van ,Lou you made a great job of the van it's only after you've lived in it for a wee while you realise what you could have done different ,
Thanks Jim, it's great to have him back on full form 😁😁👍
Great video as always guys. Love to AJ 😊🥰
Thanks Anna 🙂
Nice to see AJ in the van and actually using his bed, hope his recovery is going well
Hey Neil, yeah he is doing good, he has 3 bed/sleeping spot he likes, to be fair we just have tge back corner and the rest of the van is his 😆
@@campervibe I know the feeling, we foolishly allow our two Jack Russell's to sleep on the bed, and yes they take up most of it
Moving the batteries over if possible will help as they are quite a weight
Think we are going to swap out for lithium batteries eventually
Great to see all 3 of you out and about again ladies!!
Good to be out 😀😀
Just a quick thought turn your 240v double socket upside down leads will come out the top love the vid
😁👍
Yeahhhhh…..oh man that was fast 💨…..Great to see you girls and Aj… Lou was just making sure she had something to do for another build. Job security ya know. Love your video ♥️
😆😆 I think she is going to try and put it off for awhile yet but definitely stuff for her to do 😀
😆😆 I think she is going to try and put it off for awhile yet but definitely stuff for her to do 😀
You 2 are so sweet together! Love the humor!! Thanks! ❤️🙂
Thanks so much pia 😁👍
I just friggin love you two out of all the utubers your the most like real telly LOU the photography fuckin incredible!!!!!!! I actually feel like lm there so happy to see AJ IS on the mend Emily how much you two love each other is priceless you are truly works of art and together a breathtaking MASTERPIECE thank you so much for sharing your incredible journey many blessings from TARN in Canada 🍁 xox
Hi tarn thank you so much, that's really kind of you to say 😁 so glad you like the videos and thank you for watching, all the way in Canada too ⛰️🌲⛰️
I don't have a van yet, but have been thinking of layout and especially a shower, and I have an idea as how to do a store away shower that takes up the least amount of space, van build will hopefully happen once I have finished the house.
Very nice, yeah pop up for us for sure, hope the house stuff is going well
@@campervibe I was thinking more of a pack away system that could be used in a variety of ways, but can be quickly and easily set up in the van when needed.
Would you maybe have the capacities to house a spare cassette for your Toilet until you get a chance to rebuilt the setup? Alternative a compost toilet might be a option
We are OK at the mo but there are options 👍🙂
Good to see you both, be happy & enjoy. Will look forward to seeing the upgrade to your van to make life a little easier ☺️ Take care and stay safe 🤗
Thanks so much Annie 😁👍
That double leccie socket can be fixed by changing it to two singles side by side and each rotated 90 degrees, it would look odd but the wires would not be crushed on the counter. Get a spare cassette for the loo? I would have a top-loading 'fridge every time, so much easier, and all the cold air does not fall out when you open it.
I do love our fridge and despite how low it is, it still keeps everything cool, just a pain in the butt for filling up 😆🤦♀️
Great Vlog lol just move Emily`s snack cupboard to the other side and add more on.
Thanks Andrea, Aj is doing much better now. Yeah she is more comfortable with them now she has done it once and all the hours of research 👍
Hey what size toilet do youse have, you didnt say in vid. Love the videos, info is really good, thanks girls, keep it coming!
Another BIG thumbs up, for a great video. With the folkish music at the beginning, I was hopeful for some "Morris Dancing"...but alas, no. 😢😁
Another brilliant video. Emily’s eye roll at the mention of ‘Fanny’ was hilarious 😂 You live and learn with a van build, the tweaking never really stops especially when you’ve done it yourself 😀👍🏼
The name just gets to me, what can I say 😆 yeah always bits to do right
Great and fun video!
Thanks Jonas 😁👍
You two can even make a short video, and it still is great fun 😀
Loved it as always girls x
Cheers Mick 🙂
That’s the thing with self builds I found , once you have been out and used the layout you will always find things that you think, I should of don’t that different. I done the exact same thing with my build used it last year and just didn’t feel it was right, then I had a leak in the sky light which gave me the push to rip out and start again, now the layout works so much better for us .
😂🤣 Worst thing is this is our second one already lol! I do t think they are ever really finished tho. Thanks for watching 😁👍
@@campervibe totally agree they are never finished
I’m just amazed at all of your skills, very impressed 👍
Thank you 😁👍
Hi Emily & Louise.
Hey you two, pictures would be great if you have some, to be cheeky if you could send them to campervibe6@gmail.com that would be amazing, thank you 😊
Just catching up after being away apologies if it’s been said, you can get a larger base for a portaloo.
You have just given me a much needed giggle 🤭 or two, thanks 😊
Glad we could 😁😁😁
love you two. glad AJ is doing well xx
Thanks Suzie, he is doing really well 😁
not a bad list of niggles for a self build [ pat on back lou] .
No definitely not a bad list and stuff that is not too bad to sort out either really like you say, I like some of your tips as well, thanks 😀
😆 it makes laugh that you think Louise goes in the fridge 🤭😆🤣
@@campervibe Thanks again! Just saw this video of Olypmic National Forest in my back yard and thought of you two:) Cheers! : ) th-cam.com/video/bU58YlOs4YI/w-d-xo.html
Nice one girls 👍. Emily 🍻🍻🍻 as a newt
Revamping mine at the moment, watch out Lou every job seems to take longer than the original build. Good luck with it Lou.
Cheers girls 🍻
Don't tell her that Paul, she is already trying to put it off for a long as possible 😆
I'm sure you'll get the build done soon, at least the weather's on your side now for a while 😁👍
Love the content guys! Great ideas noted as we embark on van life! 🙌🏾🙏🏾💪🏾
😁😁😁
@@campervibe Loved the video of you all meeting up with Will’s Whereabouts. That guys is a legend! 🙌🏾💪🏾🙏🏾
Another nice vlog gals. AJ looks better too!
Thank you 👍
Hi ladies no mention of snack storage space or the small trailer behind that must be part of the rebuild🤩🤩. No point in drinking 🍺🍺 unless it affects you. Thanks stay safe cheers from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
🤣😂 I'm trying to reduce the snack storage Barry lol!! Trailer is definitely still on the cards tho 😉😂😂
Yes good info, can you turn the sockets over without a national emergency?
Yeah we can, just looks a little messy but yeah no major issue there 🙂
Another fun and informative vlog! Have a great week gals!
Thanks Monica, hope you have had a good one
Always makes my day to see your mugs!!! Love from the Pacific Northwest ❤️🇺🇸
Now that's what we like to hear Kate 😁
Turn your 13amp sockets around, upside down plugging in simples

Great vid as always girls, a lot to think about when doing a build . I totally get the electric FEAR ….that’s what’s putting me off doing a self build myself . I have however just bought a van conversion … 2010 Renault Trafic L2H2….. so far so good ….keep up the amazing content .
Happy converting Chris 😀😀
Some good advice there, presented in a fun way, and brightened up my morning - before I hit the road to work...

Great video ladies. Very informative thank God I did what you would like to do
😆🤣🤦♀️
Hey y'all love you're video keep up the great work and glad to see aj.
Thanks, yeah he is doing great 👍
I highly recommend a separating toilet especially if you're planning more travels to Europe.
Cheers guys, uts always nice to get some more ideas from others like yourself, thanks 😊 hope you're having a good time

One quickish solution for to much weight on one side would be to extend the main battery cables and relocate the batteries to the other side of the van and of Course Em's snack cupboard.
Think we might go to lithium as well and only 2 which will help, I won't let her touch my snack cupboard not now it's in 😆
