- The women's national volleyball team of Thailand (Thai: วอลเลย์บอลหญิงทีมชาติไทย) represents the Thailand in international volleyball competitions. It is managed by the Thailand Volleyball Association.
The team won a silver medal in the 2016 Montreux Masters, the best finish by any team outside the Americas, East Asia and Europe. Also, the team took a fourth-place finish in 2012 World Grand Prix. And the team took a bronze medal in Summer Universiade in two times, the best finish by any team outside the world.
In Asia, the team won a bronze medal in the Asian Games 2014. Also, the team won a gold medal in the Asian Championship in two times. And, the team won a gold medal in the Asian Cup Championship. The country has also participated in four World Championships, one World Cup, fourteen World Grand Prixs and two World Grand Champions Cup. - กีฬา

Many countries have already known and seen that .. although the Thai team is short in shape and has less experience than other national teams. but because of a strong heart effort, patience win or lose Every time they play they are always positive and have fun playing. It seems that the goal is not always to win. But only doing the best. The winning result is the most valuable profit and experience. To develop yourself and your team better. The size does matter in the game, they once said it consumes more energy to jump and hit over the block to score. Pls dont spread this kind of wrong perception about this. As when Thai loses to the taller player's groups they're blame because ppl dont understand what they're facing and how much they try. Its much more difficult than you think. Its good to appreciate their success but pls understand to that since they've come this far in world's ranking is already amazing

We have seen too many professional Muay Thai fighters from Thailand who is 5"7 or 5"8 beat a white European fighter who is 6"3 or 6"5 but people did not mentioned about height issue. The commentator who was white always said the white guy lost because he fought a Thai fighter. If the Thai guy is the same height as his white opponent then they say it's an unfair fight. LOL
They are the happiness of Thai people.
