Wow this episode was truly amazing! One of your best ones recognizing nuestra gente. It's great to see them overcome crazy obstacles and better themselves. In return, be great influencers to help lil Edgar's to succeed. 🔥 🎉
Josh please give them a year subscription of taste salud. The hydration, the focus they definitely would benefit from it. Keep them healthy in medical school 💙
When he said he wanted to be an ER doctor just because most of our parents are undocumented & it’s true that’s their first time ever going to the doctor. I’m so amazed by him. Orgullo Mexicano! 🇲🇽
I'm a nurse and a proud mexican 🇲🇽 I felt amazing being able to translate and advocate for mi gente at hospitals. In scary situations. I know they would've appreciated a doctor like these men especially. Seeing a familiar face in your corner in times that are scary and knowing they'll speak the same language is the difference between getting the care someone needs vs them getting brushed off. I'm so so proud of you guys! ¡Si se puede!
Couldn’t have said it any better! The sigh of relief patients have when they see not only Mexicano healthcare workers, but bilingual healthcare workers is the best and we need more!! 🥹
Being a DACA recipient my eyes teared up when Irvin said he didn’t want to continue studying. I was in the same boat, now fast forward to a couple of years I will be receiving my masters in counseling psychology by December 2024!!! Thanks to Obama for giving us a chance. We are part of the future!! ❤❤ BEST EPISODE SO FAR!!
This is so relatable for first gens, not having anybody to guide you in the process of higher education. It feel like your going in blind at all times (10 steps behind everybody else)
Completely understand I’m a mom of a first gen and honestly sometimes I feel so impotent that I can’t help. My daughter is fist gen high school valedictorian and first to make it to university in the family. So proud of her and all these others that are trying to change society.
Most definitely, I’m currently in school. Im a store manager and I drive alot to school and work. One day I had a one on one with my advisor and she advised me to stop working. 😭😭😭I was so mad for the longest because how tf am I supposed to pay for everything? Also not To mention life back at home with a Mexican family is hard sometimes, and nobody seemed to understand me. But luckily I have found two mentors at my school who always help me and are lenient with dead lines. 🙏
As a latina pursuing a Ph.D thank y’all so much for this amazing episode!! A lot of times we had to figure things out on our own which makes us even smarter and hard-working. This was an amazing episode and I hope it inspired all of the Latinos who want to become doctors, lawyers, and scholars ❤
Finally!!! People that are worthy of actually being praised and interviewed. I’m a law student and only 3% of lawyers are latinas!! TY for putting higher education on the map. 🎉
The real influencers have stepped in to the Pod. It’s nice to see Latino men pursuing higher education and making their family’s sacrifice worth it. It’s comforting to see more Latinos achieving their educational goals. As college graduate and student, I respect the discipline. We need more raza in the medical field.
As a DACA recipient this podcast was very special. I had a special connection with Irving because many times I was told by counselors that I did not qualify for financial aid because I did not have a SSN. God had other plans for me and I was able to graduate from college will a full ride and graduated with my BSN. Now, I am traveling for work and I will be moving to CA from the East Coast all by myself as a young independent woman. To all my DACA recipients SI SE PUEDE!!! 🇲🇽
This was honestly one of my favorite podcasts. I love to hear Latino people work hard to make it. Such an inspirational podcast. I would love to see or hear more of these stories on the platica!
Such an inspiration and love that we’re having these conversations on the pod. Pursuing advanced degrees is no easy feat, but the fact that we can be an example for so many after us is one of the best parts about it 🙌🏼
I related hard to Irvin's story 🥺 I always knew growing up that my parents and I were immigrants, but I didn't know what that meant for myself and my future. Towards the end of my high school freshman year, all my friends started talking about getting summer jobs and that's when reality hit me that I was limited in the things I could do unlike my peers 😮💨 I felt that anger, resentment and frustration that Irvin mentions. I couldn't understand why my parents thought the US was a better opportunity for me when i couldn't even get into college without papers. I started thinking the same and thought, "What is all this for I'm doomed!" But similar to Irvin, that was the year DACA was announced. I remember the tears in my moms face and the shock and excitement on my dad's. My dad got on my application ASAP, and he didn't care what he had to pay they were gonna make sure they got me on DACA.
As a former college adviser at a Title I, low-income, majority Latino high school and district, this episode has me SO EMOTIONAL. These young men have so much to be proud of and I hope they know we're all proud of them and rooting for them too! So beautiful to see your community shine. And when they talked about how they're so grateful for each other.... LLORANDO FR
“ you guys are pioneers of our culture “ funny thing that Sebastian said this, Because I feel that Josh and Sebas are also pioneers! 🔥 keep it going mi gente.
Yes but it’s a whole different ball game Latino influencers thankfully are well represented, humble relatable Latinos in medicine is what the youth needs to see. I love it!
When I went to my graduate school interviews to become a mental health counselor I was the only Hispanic and I felt so overwhelmingly intimidated and when I entered the program I was the only Hispanic there. In my field it is rare to have counselors who are bilingual but now I see so many more than when I first became a counselor and it is so exciting to see! Congrats on your achievement guys!
This was such a great episode. Sebas, I know it's all fun and you guys probably get along just fine despite any comments that are made, but it would be nice to see you be a little more mindful about the things you say to Josh. He doesn't quite speak to you the way you do to him, and it'd be nice to see you match his energy a little more.
Omg I was thinking the exact same thing. I was thinking he was a bit drunk but no excuses lately been feeling like Sebas is on some kind of energy. Be better it almost seems like you’re trying to put him down all the time now like for what ? And Josh you’re such a great friend! Just food for thought .
I love Sebas’s masculinity! 🙌🏼 The fact he had them express what they appreciate/love about each other was deep. It’s rare to see Latino men express themselves let alone express what they love about another man. Love this podcast, love the vibes, amazing way to start the month and week!! #1 Latino podcast for sure!!❤️ loved today’s episode!
As a proud Mexicana with a Masters Degree that has an emphasis in Healthcare, this episode hits so different. ❤ I was the only Mexican in a cohort of 154 people. You truly feel like you don’t fit in because the people around you are so different and it’s hard to relate. But persevering through it and standing where I am now is the best feeling. I also, like these men, aspire to always help & support our younger generation in the Mexican / Latino community. We need more representation in higher education programs and degrees!
The DACA story touched my heart bc when I tried to become a clinical psychologist, even shortly after daca, I was told it wasn’t realistic considering I couldn’t afford it and didn’t qualify for most scholarships ONLY due to my status. This came from a counselor and led to me changing my entire path. I don’t regret it but it hurts to know that this is the standard for how Latinos are treated in higher education. Still, I’m so happy to hear people like you guys chose to keep fighting and spreading this message!
This episode is so inspiring! They are doing something so special! When people say privilege, that’s what it means…privilege comes in guidance, money, opportunity, things first generations do not have. So to overcome and show what is possible is a beautiful thing! Si se puede!
25:25 - when Irvin said “the higher you go up in your education, the less diversity…” can totally understand that. I'm also a first-gen Latina who went to grad school & had to pave my own way. I was very grateful to have my friend who was also in grad school (she went to UCLA & I went to USC) & we supported each other through our grad school journey! I had counselors, including a Latina counselor at one point, tell me something similar -- that not many Latinos take school seriously yet alone graduate. Let's continue to uplift our communities & pave the way for future Latino generations!! 👏👏
Shout out to these students representing in the medical field! I been watching their content for awhile and we need more Latino students overall in the medical field. I am graduating this year as a physician associate 👩🏽⚕️and look forward to meeting the new generation of doctors , PAs , nurses from a Latino background🇲🇽🩺
I love this! As a hispanic girl who is a teacher, an RBT and full time doing her masters in Applied Behavior Analysis is important for our community to know, you can do it too!! We hispanics are one of the most hardworking people, ambitious and dedicated and I love to see that through these two guys. Loved this podcast
I am a BCBA. I am happy to see there are more of “us” joining the field. There are still very few of us providing support to Spanish speaking families. Please reach out if you need any support 😊
My biggest regret as a 30 year old is not trying in school , not joining clubs etc. I was busy skipping school , having “fun “ but at some point the fun ends and you wake up with nothing . STAY IN SCHOOL !! You can have fun when you make it ❤❤
Don’t let it be a regret. I went back and graduated with my bachelor’s in 2022 just shy of 32 yrs old. I did cc part time and then my husband supported me through my 2 years at CSULB. But long story short, I’m first gen also, and I dropped out of CSUCI after my first semester because I felt so out of place and I got home sick. But I always knew I wanted to feel what it was going to feel like to walk the stage and get my bachelor’s. So don’t give up on your dream ✨ tu puedes 🫶🏼
It’s not too late for you! I’m turning 37 this year and I just started school. There are many online Universities that are fast tracked and go at your own pace. That’s the beauty of school now it’s online and do it at your own pace. You can do it friend!
Such an amazing video! I got my master's degree last year and I am currently a therapist working towards licensure. I have worked with many psychiatrists and only two have been Latino. I always feel so comfortable with my Latino MD's. I understand the struggle, man I got chills watching this. We didn't have the resources and guidance to conquer the education system but we did it. Making us Latinos proud! Keep it up!
I didn’t know who these guests were, but wow, amazing! Love to see Latinos/as who have degree professions & are succeeding in their careers. As a Mexicana Dreamer in Accounting, I’m crying 🥺 si se puede! 🇲🇽✨🙏🏽
This is honestly my favorite episode of any podcast ever! Thank you for bringing these amazing men on! Im also a first gen and just finished my masters in mathematics and related heavily to their experiences and it is so important to see us making it in these spaces. Wow! Perfect pod!!
Speaking to Irvin’s point about undocumented folks not being eligible for federal loans, that’s because of a federal law (the Higher Education Act), that technically could be changed. Y’all should invite Latino lawyers who are the first in their families to become lawyers (even lawyers who are DACA recipients) to be featured about their journeys on La Platica 👀
That interaction with the counselors broke my heart. I’m a school counselor and I purposely push my minority students the absolute most bc I know that a lot of them are left unsupervised and their parents may not know how to encourage or guide them through the education process.
Recently joined La Platica Family and I’m so glad!!!! Love the energy and conversations being had ❤️ Listening to their story is inspiring, so happy they’re breaking through barriers. 🇲🇽
For once I actually thought Sebas was being annoying and Josh was keeping it respectable even when they were talking shit to each other. Josh always keeps a good composure even if shit is being talked to him. Respect 🫡 👏🏽
I relate so much to both Irvin and Alexis. Being a Daca recipient myself and being raised in South Central. I am truly inspired by them. This are the type of influencers we need more of in our community. By far best episode yet on la platica!
It’s so refreshing to see ppl who look like you pursuing careers and talk about their struggles and goals. They’re not just basic influencers and that’s very inspiring! As a first gen Latina with a B.A I can agree counselors were never helpful lmao I remember this lady never explained to me what a parent loan was and just made us sign for a loan to be able to pay the school 🥲 now I’m in student debt.
HANDS DOWN, ONE OF THE BEST EPISODES! I have to admit, I didn’t know who these guys were. But they just gained a new follower. Keep going!! I’m rooting for you guys. As a first gen teacher, I’ll be telling my littles about you guys. So inspirational!
I’m also a Daca student and single mom. Having all odds against us and against me being successful and breaking them down is a blessing 🙏🏻 about to graduate with my masters and it’s all mentality ❤you can do anything!
Loved this episode. Shout out to all the Latinos pursuing higher education or who have gotten advanced degrees. The struggles you face throughout this process are one too many to count. Keep going, it’s not easy whatsoever but it is worth it. From a fellow MBA graduate 🫶🏼
This episode is forever my favorite. I am now a Hispanic RN communicating with my people in our native language. Also was undocumented at the start of my journey. I love this ❤❤ it inspires me to inspire.
Best espisode in la plática. So proud of these two men who are accomplishing their dreams and putting in work. Mexicanos y orgullosos de sus raises, god bless them in every step of the way 🙏✨
I think by them sharing this journey on social media, it really correlates with “one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” They opened that window to show Latinos achieving great things, by seeing that, people watching can follow and be inspired to do the same.
This was such an inspiring podcast. As a first gen & alumni they made me feel like the skies the limit. I can’t wait to see what’s next for them. Loved every moment even the laughs.
Just here crying my eyes out at work The most heartfelt podcast in La Plática History. These young men are beyond amazing and I speak for the Mexican people WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YALL keep striving to be the best Doctors out here! Blessings through this journey. These are the type of People we need on la plática people who will encourage us and the young generation.
All I gotta say is, wow... Just wow!!! I honestly did not know who these foos were, but i am so happy to know who they are now!! Definitely an inspirational podcast.
Hispanic nurse here, and it makes my heart so happy to see Hispanic doctors coming into the field. Especially from their background they should be happy and proud of themselves. It will all be worth it later.
This was one of the most relatable stories that has been on this podcast for me. Irvin’s DACA story was similar to mine experience. My school counselor also told me not to shot high because I didn’t have papers. After years of working hard and being one of the top students of my high school, to hear her say that I had no future was hard. She said I wouldn’t have the money to pay for college. My mom was there and told her to kick rocks 🤣 that I would go to college no matter what. I graduated with a bachelors degree with a full ride scholarship. Now, I work as an immigration paralegal helping families with their immigration matters. Next it’s law school to help our people in the community. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise or allow them to dictate your future. Si se puede! ✊🏼
Really enjoyed this episode. Its refreshing to see guests that are not solely influencers because us as “regular” people can relate to them more. Shoutout to them for being an inspiration to the younger generation!
Iriv & Alexis are honestly such an inspiration, breaking generational curses! I absolutely love this episode ! Can’t wait to see how far they go & god bless these foos to keep going !
As a DACA recipient I remember a counselor telling me I would never be able to go to school. I remember being so defeated. Now I have my bachelors in nursing. I’m a working RN and i have the privilege to teach the future nurses. It makes me soo happy that I kept going. Don’t give up my daca family! We got this 👏🏽👏🏽
This makes me so happy and so proud. I understand them completely. I am 1/2 Hispanic nurse practitioner in my county in Alabama. I work with 90% Spanish speaking patients and undocumented as well. It is truly a blessing to be able to help my people the way I wish my parents could’ve been treated when they first got to this country. It really makes a difference seeing people that look like you exceed the expectations! We will continue to rise ✊
38:04 this reminded me of when I found out I had to take the LSAT before going to law school. None of these things were explained to me. I had no guidance in the beginning until my former boss told me what to do and sat with me to walk me through what I needed to do.
My favorite podcast used to be Itati, but this took the cake. It easily so captivating and made me so proud! 🇲🇽 I didn’t know them until now and now I’m a huge fan!!! These are the types of influencer we need. Men and women who inspire!!!
@FoosinMedicine I’m just an individual that you don’t know but I would like you’s to know that as a Latina seeing Latinos be doctors is absolutely inspiring. My parents aren’t fluent in English and having a bilingual doctor to treat them is such a heart warming and comfort feeling. Thank you and we are all rooting for you both! And every single latin@ in the medical field!
One of the top episodes, my boehhhhhhhh. So inspirational. These guys are the shit. Love their stories. Que representen la raza is such an honor. Big props to them.
Thank you La Platica for bringing in Foos In Medicine. I enjoyed every second this was a lit ass podcast - please bring in more people like this on your podcast - with a mission to do greater. Loved the show!
I love that you had them on your podcast! I’m in the medical field and it’s sooooo inspiring to see them on here. It brought me to tears because it reminded me of my “why” and it’s not for the money it’s to make a difference in my community ! Please have more people like them on your podcast !!
I love hearing their story and what is it that motivates them to keep going! They are doing it for US 🇲🇽✊🏼 and Sebas is right when he said they are the Trail Blazers and they will inspire soo many generations to come. Irving’s answer to why he wants to work ER is soo beautiful! I know that in CA undocumented people were only eligible for emergency services but this year that changed and they are now entitled to full scope services if eligible for Medical. Working in the eligibility world people don’t understand what a difference it’s makes in our community! Some people can’t afford to go to the doctor regularly and now they are able to! Love this episode is probably one of my favorite ❤
Sebas and Josh, absolutely love that you guys brought guests that are in medicine! That is amazing, and even more because they are Hispanic and future Doctor's! 🙏 (my bf actually just sent me a reel on Instagram from their page) I've been with my boyfriend since he applied to med school, and finally 10 years later he's all done! (First gen Dr♥) The whole med school process (before med school) is no joke, I have the upmost respect for anyone in Medicine and rooting for the future professionals in this world, y'all are truly heroes and make a difference in this crazy world! 👏
My kids Dr is actually a foo in medicine 🥹 when I tell you I felt soo proud of our people when I first met him. I can’t wait for to see future generations in our community be out there too!
Thank you so much for having them! Iriving is so relatable to me.. DACA! first generation ! Having your high school “counselors” telling you to find a new dream !!! I went through that too and I’m sure countless others have as well. Thank you La Plática for giving these men a platform to share their stories. I am so proud of them.
So proud of them, so so proud of them🙏🏽 My heart is full just hearing their background and seeing them how far they’ve come. THANK YOU FOR INSPIRING ALL OF US. Wishing you all the best ✨
As a latina with an MBA,. It was not easy. Being a single mother, having to work 2-3 jobs and attend school full time I can literally say, it was a struggle, sacrifice, tears, sleepless nights, missed many of my familys parties etc. Has made me a stronger person than I ever was. thank y’all so much for this amazing episode!! First time college student in my family not knowing anything about college i had to figure it all out on my own. A lot of times we had to figure things out on our own which makes us even smarter and hard-working. This was an amazing episode and I hope it inspired all of the Latinos who want to become doctors, lawyers, and scholars ❤” If i did it anybody from any background can do it!!” One of the best episodes!!! So proud of my Latino Community.!!
These guys are a true inspiration. As a fellow DACA, I cannot emphasize how much it means to have this kind of visibility to the struggles. Irving represent ✊🏾
Subscribed after this episode! Loved hearing these guys stories and knowing that they're out there putting in work for the community. Seriously please bring these guys back a year from now for an update episode!!
I loved this episode so much! Please bring on more people like these men who are making a huge difference in our community! I completely related to these guys being a first gen Latina therapist (also graduated from UCLA!). Having to navigate these spaces where our people have been historically excluded on our own is a whole different challenge that many people don’t understand. But, knowing my patients feel seen when they have a therapist who speaks the language and understands their struggles on a different level, makes it all worth it! Please bring these men back on soon, they should be regulars lol
STEM degrees can be life changing. My husband is an Engineer and I am an accountant as first gen, I feel the struggles they talked about. I love seeing first gen and Latinos pursuing higher education. Especially in a career as challenging as Medicine. I hope they continue to excel in their careers and wish them continued greatness. Also something no one talks about is how to navigate higher income with taxes, retirement, insurance etc. I have had to learn personal finance by myself. That even though the paycheck is great how can I allocate my money to taxes, retirement, investing ( mutual funds etc), health insurance etc. I see so many people make great incomes but spend all their money in the mamalona, lavish parties etc and have no money in investing, retirement etc.
Thank you so much for bringing them on to the podcast. I am currently a 1st generation pre-dental student and it can be hard at times not having any mentor in the process. Having influencers like "foosinmedicine" is a great inspiration and help!! I wish them nothing but the best in their education and career!
Love this! And what you guys are doing with LA Plática! We need more stories like these. As a daughter of immigrant parents this hits deep. As a First generation student who also went to CSUN I was always so proud of how far I got , but wasn't completely satisfied because I felt like I didn't fit in. So motivating and que viva la raza.❤🎉 So motivational
I agree with everyone else. Such an inspirational podcast and one of my favorites. This is the influence we all need. Can relate with them as a first generation graduate. I was so lost in the process and somehow ended up being an accountant after failed career tries. I am glad newer generations can have positive people to look up to.
As a Latina in medicine, I have never related to a podcast episode so much. I was emotional listening to this because I know what it’s like to have to work hard and pave an unknown path. Going through school and not being able to relate to your classmates is a different type of feeling, but they explained it so well. These guys are the type of influencers we need more of. I am soooo proud of them! Amazing episode 🙏🏼🖤
I am the only one in my close family (so far) that has graduated from higher education and it is such a lonely experience for first gen kids. What they said about having that "one person to make a difference" is so true because I experienced it. Thank you for trying to be the people that make a difference for our community. I know pursuing higher education is already hard as is so I just want to give props for all the extra hard work you are putting in. Much love and good luck on your careers. :)
I got chills so many times throughout this episode. They’re such an inspiration and still so humble wow. I hope you guys keep shining the light on these type of genuinely good people ❤❤❤
I never heard of them but I loved this podcast so much. As a Latina who is pursuing Dietetics, it’s really hard sometimes to feel like you ARE enough and that you should keep pushing for success. The counselors and advisors I’ve had for the most part were not so helpful, but I made it work for myself bc you can’t hold yourself back for anyone.
Josh and Sebas, the magnitude of what you guys are doing!! I have no words 🥹🫶🏽 True definition of I got friends with degrees, LLCs, and felonies! Haha!
This is so inspiring! I’m currently in grad school to become a speech language pathologist. This discussion really made me reflect on how far I’ve come and how I want to support the Latino community/underrepresented groups. Higher education is challenging for a first generation student but it is absolutely possible and necessary for us to be in these spaces. This episode is gold✨
This was an awesome episode. This is what I love to see first generation peeps out here hustling and paving the path for others. These are the types of influencers we should be looking up too!!
PLEASE BRING MORE PEOPLE LIKE THIS TO THE POD… these are the real influencers of the Latino community
I second this!!!

Yes but it’s a whole different ball game Latino influencers thankfully are well represented, humble relatable Latinos in medicine is what the youth needs to see. I love it!
Bring Doctor Valencia !!! He needs more exposure he’s truly a gem in our Mexican American community
As a Latina who is weeks away from graduating from FNP school, I can relate to these foos so much ! Thank you for bringing them on 😊!
Oh my God I totally agree with you on this. It’s like he needs to grow up a little.
‼️‼️
Omg I was thinking the exact same thing. I was thinking he was a bit drunk but no excuses lately been feeling like Sebas is on some kind of energy. Be better it almost seems like you’re trying to put him down all the time now like for what ? And Josh you’re such a great friend! Just food for thought .
So glad someone brought this up! It’s makes it awkward for the guests tbh
I thought so too!!! It’s almost like he talks down on him
I love Sebas’s masculinity!
You can have fun when you make it ❤❤
You can still do it bestie never get discouraged to start your education again! ❤️ its never too late
I started school at 33 and I’m graduating with my Bachelors degree next month! You got this, it’s never too late
ya vez que pasa cuando nos hacen caso??!!😂 thank you Josh and Sebas for listening to your viewers and using y’all’s platform for good 🫶🏼🤍👨⚕️🇲🇽
THAT PART !! loved this episode ! 🫶🏼
Yes these are the influencer we want to see!! I was so glued to this episode!
Love the energy and conversations being had ❤️
Listening to their story is inspiring, so happy they’re breaking through barriers. 🇲🇽
Lmao sebas is so annoying when playing games 🤣🤣 I can’t with him. Love this espisode, please bring more people like them ❤🫡
LMFAO he really is ! I was laughing so much 😂😂😂
Sometimes he talks too much I wanna hear more from the guest
For once I actually thought Sebas was being annoying and Josh was keeping it respectable even when they were talking shit to each other. Josh always keeps a good composure even if shit is being talked to him. Respect 🫡 👏🏽
I relate so much to both Irvin and Alexis. Being a Daca recipient myself and being raised in South Central. I am truly inspired by them. This are the type of influencers we need more of in our community. By far best episode yet on la platica!
This is my FAVORITE episode thus far! Please bring more guests like them! So inspirational! Que orgullo! 🇲🇽🙌🏼
❤
Sebas was giving drunk tío at the end telling them how much he loved them 😂 great episode guys!
Thank you for having them on! I follow them on TT and they inspired my daughter to want to be the 1st in our family to go to Med school
Mexicanos y orgullosos de sus raises, god bless them in every step of the way 🙏✨
As a future first gen PA I love that you had these people on, very inspirational 🙌🏽
These young men are beyond amazing and I speak for the Mexican people WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YALL
keep striving to be the best Doctors out here! Blessings through this journey.
These are the type of People we need on la plática people who will encourage us and the young generation.
All I gotta say is, wow... Just wow!!! I honestly did not know who these foos were, but i am so happy to know who they are now!! Definitely an inspirational podcast.
I love how Sebas keeps telling them how proud he is 🥺
Hispanic nurse here, and it makes my heart so happy to see Hispanic doctors coming into the field. Especially from their background they should be happy and proud of themselves. It will all be worth it later.
Yay you brought them in!! I always watch their content on TikTok… repping the Hispanic culture 🇲🇽😊!!!
Drinking my Salud, getting ready for work AND a new poddy waddy! What a great way to start my week🥰🥰
This episode was one I didn’t want to end. It was so impactful and these are the influencers I want to see more of. ❤
🙏 (my bf actually just sent me a reel on Instagram from their page)
I've been with my boyfriend since he applied to med school, and finally 10 years later he's all done! (First gen Dr♥) The whole med school process (before med school) is no joke, I have the upmost respect for anyone in Medicine and rooting for the future professionals in this world, y'all are truly heroes and make a difference in this crazy world! 👏
I got the chill listening to Irv's story about DACA. Im glad you stayed in school and used it as fuel
As someone who went through nursing school and a Latino in the medical field this plática made me emotional 😭 BEST PLATICA EVER
So proud of my Latino Community.!!
so glad you brought these two onto the podcast! VIVA MEXICO!🇲🇽
This is now my favorite episode!!! They are so inspirational. Im hoping to be a psychologist one day and these foos keep me going ✊🏽👏🏽
Amazing episode 🙏🏼🖤
yes!!!! this made me cry. the fact that they are impacting and inspiring so many people is amazing
I truly enjoyed this episode! I appreciate you guys having these two guests on the pod so inspirational ❤
