One thing you might add for anyone who gets this error when attempting to turn on the virtual ZPL printer: "Error occurs while creating Printer on Host: 127.0.0.1 Port: 9100". I discovered (by using NetStat in a windows terminal) that port 9100 was in use by another app. Changing the ZPL printer setting to port 9105 (or any other unused port) allowed it to turn on and the rest of the setup went exactly as you describe.

When printing PDF, Word Documents, it prints directly normal like a Laser or Inkjet normal printer. So that I was trying to use this app to simulate a ZPL printer on my machine and then it sends it directly to my "generic chinese" printer, where it could finally print the label (converted from ZPL txt files). Is that currently possible?
Yes it does. But for some specific printer same ZPL will work with some unplanned formatting, in that case you can call Zebra help center or use ZPL SDK.

Can we do it for the android mobile application on Bluetooth/USB? I have an app where I have a ZPL text file with me, I want to print it on a ZPL printer. But, I do not have ZPL printer hardware with me. So I want to test it on the ZPL emulator.

ZPL is a separate language. PDF support depends upon printer to printer.

Interesting it only displays your test file - if i click on the test in the control panel it shows nothing
because zpl is separate language for label printers.

Yes you can, you can download image and than convert it to pdf
