My guess is that they thought it was like a sweetener rather then part of the actual drink; someone else mentioned Americans don't use sweeten condensed milk like Asians do.
Indian grocery stores or grocery stores with a decent international section are good places to find rose flavour. Or you can get fresh stuff from sweet shops although they tend to be, well, sweet (gulab jamun is usually rose flavoured, but it's also floating in syrup).

Those copper cow pour over coffees come with creamers that make them great! They’re condensed milk. Definitely need to try it with the creamer they come with.

Glad Rhett is okay with saffron. It's a great flavor -- though quite distinctive and even dominating. I had saffron gelato that was awesome. It was like vanilla for adults -- a floral flavor that wasn't whimpy. I love Indian food but most Indian desserts strike me as too sweet. But a saffron rice pudding was delicious. The only saffron misfire was at a fancy restaurant where the au gratin potatoes had so much saffron the dish tasted medicinal.
I Remember getting lavender and honey ice cream at a really nice ice cream shop in Portland once. Place was called salt and straw Ice cream was fantastic
I love to bloom lavender in gin, then make lavender gin tonics. Gorgeous color when you leave the gin steeping in your fridge overnight. I prefer Leopold Brother's Summer Gin, which is really bright and citrusy.

While Kombucha is an acquired taste, you can get it flavored enough to make it taste like the flavor you're putting in it. My mom has made flavored and non-flavored Kombucha, and for me I've tasted a distinct difference. And as an aside, I've had the Synergy Lavender Kombucha they're drinking, and I love it! Hands down, it's my favorite flavor!
I love GT Daves Kombucha I drink it all the time. Cody Ko and Noel Miller made a pretty funny video about an interview he did for Forbes. And then he invited the boys to his mansion to interview him themselves. Both vids are great, GT is a pretty cool dude.
I've made homemade kombucha and got some pretty distinct flavours in addition to the vinegary kombucha flavour. Particularly lapsang souchon (smokey tea) and galia melon worked very well

I don't mind lavender in food, but my old cleaning lady used to put lavender sachets on my pillow and it made it impossible to sleep. So now I sort of associate lavender with insomnia and anxiety and so I can't stand it.

I am a huge lavender flavor fan! My favorites are Honey Lavender ice cream from Salt & Straw and Lavendar Milk Tea from either my local shop or Rabbit Rabbit if I really want a strong flavor. Otherwise, I get Rose flavored everything
I have made lavender lemonade for a party and have added the leftover lavender to green tea. Both were good. I had bought the lavender loose from a health food store that had loose leaf tea ingredients to make your own combinations.

They should do the same thing with violet flavored things. I know violet ice cream is a thing at least. Or even lilacs, I know that flower is used in cooking too. Ahhh, I just love purple flowers.💜💜💜

it is well known to be a sleeping aid. i bought a diffuser and some lavender oils and i find it does help me at least start a routine to go to bed
