No, there are 3 ways to draw a natural monopoly. One with the flat MC, one with MC and ATC constantly downward sloping with MC below demand the entire graph, and a typical looking monopoly with the MC and ATC not intersecting until after the MC=D quantity. I just find the one with constant MC to be the easiest to draw.
