  • We put the 1977 Allis Chalmers 5020 to work. It’s been a handy little tractor for running the 5 foot tiller. We finished digging our potatoes in this garden and decided to get it tilled. Our potatoes did great this year!! Checkout the videos on our channel. :)
I throw in a little bit of fun for the diesel lovers that like to see the black diesel smoke. lol

Man that is so nice to have another tractor to keep something hooked up. That little thing works great too. Awesome Tom. Ole Allis will roll a little coal haha. Later guys.

Earlybird Farm, SC thanks man. It is handy for that for sure. It doesn’t get enough traction to pull a sitting hen off the nest because of the turf tires but it’s good in the garden with the tiller. Lol - Tom

You guys had a good potato harvest! In tried to do backyard gardening but I was so disappointed because the gophers and ground squirrels eat my tomatoes, chillis and squash :(. besides it's way to hot in California !

Rodents are always a challenge with gardening. We’ve had to fence in some of our gardens to keep unwanted guests out. Thanks for subscribing and watching!!

@@OutdoorsandCountryLiving I know. In the Philippines, we didn't have to deal with this kind of animals that would destroy the garden. Next time I grow some plants, I will definitely be more prepared :) thank you

Hello! I recently came into possession of a tractor like this, but the front tires are way to big. Do you know what size front rim/tire you’re running?

Hey there! Sorry I didn’t respond sooner we were butchering some chickens. Lol. I just checked and the tires on ours are Carlisle 4.00-12SL Nylon Implement tires.
I believe they are fairly cheap. I also have the original owners manual if you have any questions or need info just let me know. Have a great weekend and stay safe.

@@ryanbrinks8472 sorry I’m just responding I’ve been pretty busy. The belly mower on these gets it’s power from a little stub shaft off the front of the engine. Two sprockets are found by a double chain and then there is an electric clutch that you’ve gave with a switch to apply power to the deck. The deck is driven by a long belt that then comes around a couple pulled mounted in a bracket under the front of the tractor. I used it for awhile but it was getting rust holes in it and then the spindle bearings locked up on one blade. I decided I was done messing with it and put it aside. I purchased it more for garden work than mowing anyway so I did not worry too much about it. I’ve not seen many around and parts probably are not that available anymore. Where are you located?

Just got one of these. 1984 4x4. Neat little tractor. What engine oil do you run in yours? And what size belly mower did it have?

Hey there! It came with a 60” Belly mower. The engine is a 25 HP 2 cyl diesel. It’s been great for what we do with it. It’s light but that’s good in garden or a yard. Thanks for watching & Merry Christmas!

As far as oil I believe it’s 10W-40 but I will check the manual in a bit and verify. I have around 1600-1700 hrs on it.
