That's true, but then of course in the name of moneymaking, football teams feel the necessity to add designs so that people will buy their kits. I think it helps the youth enjoy the game more too. If you just had a kit that looked the same as a basic t-shirt, I don't think anyone would really be interested.
@@BozifMakesKits I'm not sure they ever did look like t-shirts did they? When Liverpool had a kit recently that looked most like the simple kit of the late 70's- red with a white v neck, it was their most popular shirt in years, proving that it's not beyond the wit of man to make shirts that are both true to the classic designs and colours of the club but which can also carry motifs like the Arsenal detail from the invincibles season, giving the moneymakers something to flog without ruining the heritage.
@@dominiclloyd6651 They never used to look like t-shirts, true, but I imagine that these days they would need to mess around with the shape and fabric of the shirt to make it more breathable and whatever other nonsense they do these days, and the most likely sort of design would be a t-shirt!

the brands don't get original with the goalkeeper kits because people don't usualy buy goalkeper kits
One notable exception being the Giroud goalkeeper kit for AC Milan XD
I think they would get more sales if they did design the GK kits tho
