I feel like a Starlo fight WOULD have been better, but THIS fangame specifically is not better than Ceroba's geno fight. To me, it just feels like a souped-up pacifist/neutral Starlo fight. It also feels like it doesn't carry the same impact as Ceroba's does, and it just has odd design choices. An example of this is Clover referring to Starlo as "The enemy," which doesn't make sense at this point in the story. The entire point of Clover referring to Martlet as "the enemy" was to show how detached they'd become with their high LV. Clover wouldn't see Starlo as "the enemy" yet; they didn't even refer to Ceroba as "the enemy." Certain attacks also drag on for WAY too long (like that train one that went on for at LEAST 20 seconds or when he shoots a comical amount of bullets despite using a revolver) and I feel like Starlo's character could've been handled slightly better in general.
@@symbiotesoda1148 Maybe the option to fight both in the actual game by letting Starlo shoot you or not therefore giving Ceroba the opportunity to save Starlo or be too late Could’ve been a good idea.
@@symbiotesoda1148I agree with your criticisms about Starlos character and attack length, but I think there's nothing wrong with Clover referring to Starlo here as just "The Enemy". They start showing a cold detachment and disassociation far before Martlet's battle. The flavor text for Axis fight in the Vengeance route even has them outright refer to Axis as a "roadblock". They were dehumanizing monsterkind basically as soon as this route started, regardless of their twisted sense of honor within' that route. I think it's not really out of pocket that they only process Starlo, this random guy they just met, as merely just another enemy. They have no attachment or relationship to him in this route, after-all, and unlike Axis, Starlo never introduced himself to them in this path. Thus even less reason they'd process him as anything but another foe in their path.
Ceroba sacrificed herself, it was heroic of her actions. I would like to see that if Ceroba and Martlet fought together against Clover, I would be very pleased to watch such a fight.

Let’s be real, this is better than geno Ceroba
As much i like Ceroba, she did not need a genocide fight :|
@@OManoDIT26I agree they gave her the sans treatment lol

Starlo If Ceroba motivated him by saying "If you win, I'll sit on your face!" lmao
Ha ha ha💀💀💀
*you disgust me.*
10:25 like the retribution motif here
it's more like enemy retreating but yeah, all genocide songs share that leitmotif
@@notcrabb Yea nice find on the original motif 👍
@@notcrabbIt is more retribution than enemy retreating
@@celiaarrua3323 technically it's still enemy retreating but with similar instruments of retribution so it kinda sounds like that

I thought the weapon in the middle of the dessert was starlo's gun, he might just toss it and got the toy one instead
