powercolor is a good brand for amd i definately recommend them because msi is a nvidia partner and recently there was a scandal/theory that nvidia doesnt allow msi and other brands to make good gpu models for AMD or Intel so for AMD go Powercolor or XFX
Hello I've seen quite a few reviews saying that the 6600 version of this Powercolor Fighter card has coil whine. Did you ever experience it with this 6650 xt model?

What is the difference with the MSI one? I don't know which one to buy because I don't know the powercolor brand very well.

No. Fortunately this card has been silent. 6650 XT is improved version that came later and I have NOT heard any coil whine.
literally all cards out there can have coilwhine. no matter brand or aib.
its all about being lucky when it comes to that.
What are the highest temperatures you've had with this graphics card?
For the games I played thus far, highest GPU temp seen was 52c

Yes, thus far. I did not see it going beyond 58c yet as I haven't tried latest AAA intensive games in high settings.
Why is this graphics card so cheap? In other places it is for $400 and I have found it new for $265
Since last 8 months, prices have fallen on Graphic cards. This is very good card for 1080p & 1440p gaming.
