I work in TV animation and am on mat leave right now. Honestly being a draw monkey for 9-5 is tough. I do character rigging and I'm lucky that it's been a more stable career than most, but I feel you on how exhausting it is to keep up with corporate expectation. When I became a supervisor I thankfully got to work from home and would regularly boot people out early if they were done their work. I wish I could sell my paintings and be more consistent with socials, but it's not for me. Keep going! I'm rooting for you!
@gracingyouwithart 2D working towards 3D rigging. If you want anything to do with harmony rigging and need a 9-5 I will literally teach you. I've taught at Algonquin college before. I'm on LinkedIn under Greer McNally if you need a contact :)
Your work is stunning!! I'm sorry you lost your job. I'm glad you turned it into a positive. I'm the type of person who believes our lives are already planned for us. You are following yours. Don't lose fate. Keep up the great job, and I look forward to seeing what else you share with us.😃
on the same journey 🥰Went to school and worked in animation for a few years, but it wasnt all it cracked up to be. congratulations on choosing yourself and excited to watch more of your videos!
Your jewellery ist so creative and beautiful! I really admire your talent and skill of sculpturing and painting the clay. Thank you for sharing not only the finished work but also the steps of creating it. A joy to watch. *** For those who do not know it...next offers in the shop on etsy on the 1st of June *** Looking forward to see all and buy an item your art. Good luck and huge success for you!
Yay! I am so happy for you! As soon as I read the title I left my important work and come to tell you that I am very proud of you! Love from me! ((Not in a weird way))
Girl !! I hope you read this, but you got this ! Don't be afraid to push on! I'm in the same boat as you, wanting to presue my art, but I still don't have the courage yet. However, YOU took those steps and that's the hardest part, but trust yourself. Even though I dont know you; Im proud of you as a person who took the first steps to learn and grow ❤ I'm looking for a new job, but when I can I will support you and your business. I can't wait to see you grow, and good luck 🙂
First time watching you. The video, your story, the music and your voice over and the lovely art pieces you created are such a comforting vibe for me ❤ I wish you all the best! 😊
These are very beautiful. Have you thought about taking photos and putting them on tshits. Print on demand would be good. Youve already designed these it might be the boost you were looking for
First video I’m seeing of yours! You have a very relatable journey. I’m at a crossroads myself and finding it hard to desire to work for someone else. Thanks for the inspiration, your art is beautiful ❤
Stunning. Love the aesthetic in this video. I can’t wait for the next drop. I do hope and pray you continue to grow and reach more girlies. It’s so fulfilling seeing someone put them and their art out there. And your videos and reels are working! You got me to subscribe immediately when I saw your reel. Keep up the work! A fellow artist is proud of you
Thank you for sharing more about your life with us! You are an incredible artist and I am just getting started with clay but you have inspired me so much. Your goals are definitely achievable!
I just got laid off, yesterday, in a really hurtful way. I’m a nanny, and everything is so personal when you work with a family... I’m also an artist who has been struggling to prioritize my art and my channel, because of work. Night owl, unconventional, performing adulthood - all of that is familiar. Good job pursuing your dreams. 😊 I like your art! 💜
Wishing you all the best. It's must be scary but exciting. I also lost my job, but after being diagnosed with MS. I'm seeing it as a hell of a kick up the yahzoo to do what I actually love, which is art as well, instead of just working for someone else for a paycheck. I looking forward to seeing your progress, which you will undoubtedly will. I'm just so happy to see talented artists create things and do well. We need more beauty in the world. Thank you for this lovely and inspiring video, and good luck! ❤🎉
Hi Grace 😊🙏🏻 i believe you are a very honest, sweet and dedicated person. I am sure you will make it to your long term goals in no time. Don't worry surely this too shall pass and when the going gets tough the tough gets going 💪🏻 wishing you lots of success, luck and positivity. Lots of love from India Divya Sadagopan ❤
Your work is so beautiful!! Definitely putting some earrings on my etsy wishlist! I tried making clay earrings a couple years ago, but quickly gave up due to life circumstances. I feel inspired to try again!
I am just starting out as well and very scared . I am working on my inventory right now selling local as shipping and packaging is crazy . And on line fees. It maybe slower way but I hope in the end will be ok word of mouth . You could make a flyer in your building to sell ? They are very beautiful.
Thank you and good luck! I personally found that selling online works much better for me since I like making videos and social media. In person sales are a much bigger struggle since I’m shy but do what works best for you!
Exactly like me 😭 i studied animation because I thought it was a ‘practical’ way to still be artistic rather than just jumping in with my art. Still working towards that moment where I do that
Hey, I keep rewatching this cuz I can't get enough ❤. Ur amazingly talented! I also had a question: I saw in the comments somewhere that you bake with 265 degrees for 45 min. Is this together with the framing or do you bake it twice with same degree and minutes? Would it crack if being baked twice with 265 degrees 45 min. First without and then with frame? Im assuming the width of the clay to be about 3mm
Your work its stunning, lucky you live in the first world, I live in México and its impossible to live from your art, we need 2 jobs and the art one to live.
@@gracingyouwithartI just finish to see the entire video and I really hope you could archive your goals in the future, just know for sure that you are already successful, people always tends to rate successful in order of the money you are making, and It can be in some way but they left behind all the hard work we put into all the things we do even if they dont sale and that is also valuable and there are so many factors that plays around at the time to be "successful" in life, I see all this traper artist and how they are millionare people by honestly making such an owful music and there are also people who already have the money and only invest the same money to make them more famous and get more money of it. I empathizing with you cuz the background is very similar we have the social pression and all we sell and work with was made with our own money that we earn working hard to get, but you know be proud of yourself and have in mind that even if not all you goals get acomplished, you already made it cuz unlike most of people you know your passion what made you feel happy to make every day, there are a lot of people that work for great companies and hate wakin up every morning to be working there. Life is so complicated and ironic, some deserve so much work hard every day and never get it, and there is the people who I just can call the are *lucky and became rich and famous, thats why on my personal opinion success is not about the money, you can be rich but have such a poor mentality and not being good even for what you're supposedly successful for, well I hope I could explain my point lol, your work its beautiful and insipred me a lot, grettings from Mexico 🙋🏻♀️☺️

Actually I’m gonna watch it in the background and then watch it again later 😅 I just love your art! I hope for the best for you
