@@Turfbaby831 He just had peezy, lil Reese, Tay savage and rico recklezz all chilling in his hood recently those are some certified dudes so if they rocking with him that's how you know geechi ain't faking it, he got respect where he's from
It sounds funny but it's from always having to keep in mind what you can actually say... you need filler to make time to think... It's not fun even tho it's funny
Crazy thing is most of them are automatically guilty of being from a set just cause they live there. You can not be with it at all. But if someone from the opposite ask you where you from and they’ll trip on you just cause of that reason. So you damn near forced to be from that set. Which is wild.
3:16 - 3:40 FACTS. This not talked about nearly enough. That's why I don't call gang members stupid, some of these dudes are in lose-lose situations. You a target just for being from a neighborhood even though you don't bang. So in a twisted way, it can be said that the logical decision is to join a gang so that you at least get some protection.
@JohnDoe-qh5xg I disagree. As someone who didn't get raised in the hood & had a 2 parent household, I can say that I've had more opportunity. Whether it's sports, education, networking etc. I don't think being raised in the hood is comparable. You gotta worry about the most basic things like getting home safe.
gangs are simply male nature. First of all, a gang in itself isn't bad. It's only bad when they start being irrationally violent. It's male nature for boys with similar interests to form a gang. The issues arise when one of y'all gets violated by someone outside the gang. Then y'all retaliate on the dude in defence of your fellow gang member (which again, is male nature as y'all have a brotherhood). Then the dude can't take the L, so him and his boys retaliate back. Then it becomes a cycle.
I can tell geechi is not faking it. The streets are treacherous but it’s always good when someone shines a light on the neighborhood that raised them.
