I absolutly love looking over the small steering wheel. it's so natural ! And the 2-spoke steering wheel let's you hold one hand "6 o'clock".... Very nice !
Great review. I’m actually considering this or the 3008. My only question, considering its price point, is it worth the moolah? It lacks some basic features that can be found on cheaper SUVs such as a 360 camera, 3rd row AC vents, ADAS, etc.
Thanks. It depends on what you're looking for. Both the 3008 and the 5008 don't have a 360 camera but they do have a sort of "top down camera". I wasn't able to show it here but you'll see it in my full review: th-cam.com/video/znSUKG_uyA8/w-d-xo.html It works just as well as a 360 camera when parking in reverse because you see everything around you except what is in front. So it's not as useful when parking forwards. It does have some ADAS features like lane keep assist and forward collision warning but no adaptive cruise control.
Talked recently with a sales agent that said the extra features such as 360 deg camera and adaptive cruise control are available in their GT variant but is not available yet locally.

It usually includes a 360 camera, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assists, blind spot warning, rear cross traffic alert, collision warning and active parking assist.
@@joeyarcher3263 Yup. They don't sell the GT variant here in the hilippines. The GT variant afaik also only uses a 180 camera but it does have 3rd row AC vents, heated and cooled seats, adaptive cruise control, and retractable tables for the 2nd row passengers.
I am currently in Lisbon and few weeks in Paris this is one of the go to vehicles here. Reliable and good gas mileage

no 360 cam?
The only bad thing i heard about it is that its quite noisy on highways. How bad is it compared to other 7 seaters in that price range?
Watch 7:40 onwards. He mentioned that sound insulation is quite good.
1.6L, 164 horsepower for over 2.2 million pesos? I NEED SOMETHING STRONGER THAT THAT OLD GRANDMOTHER.
Most people dont give a shit about the engine as long as its reliable
Can you fit in the third row seats?
Barely. But my girlfriend who's 5'4 can fit comfortably with plenty of room to spare
Parang jet 😀
I wouldn't pay 2.4 million pesos for a 1.6 engine!!!
Exactly 💯
Better choose Santa Fe
