I get the penny to do draw twice on same ogerpon and get energy in hand and heal and all, but the secret spice is thorton into radiant charizard or drago v to evolve the ogerpons with energy on them so you aren’t forced to find energy switch if you have it in hand. Then you can do it twice if the cards play like that with the vstar.
Agreed. Thorton is nasty. Ogerpon turn 2 has 2 grass. Ultra ball away a Drago V for a Vstar, Thorton the Ogerpon into the V then evolve to Vstar. Attach fire for turn and we out 💪🏽
Around 17:56 you said you’re not worried about needing a shred attack. Why is that? Only answer the deck has for Mimikyu and Cornerstone Ogerpon is to attack with Mew which seems awkward.
I would personally play Giratina and also play Scoop Up Cyclone instead of Prime Catcher in case my great luck gives me a Giratina or Raging Bolt start.
Haxorus and Kyurem join the battle next set! Haxorus = OHKO Pokemon with special energy attached like Pidgeot ex, Blissey ex, Lugia VSTAR, etc. Kyurem lets you take 3 prizes against a lost box
@isoldmymumforrp5371 then you just play a couple of Temples. Not hard at all to include in this deck. Though I don't know if Temple messes around with Haxorus's attack TBH.
most popular decks have answers to that tho. LZ plays a bunch of switches, gardy can easily Turo or retreat into another attacker. Lugia can easily retreat into another attacker. Miraidon uses switch carts. Zard can Turo or retreat into another Zard and so on.
@@BuungeeGum Lugia wasnt even my topic. Lugia has mist energy, they shit on the altaria. You bring shit up that has nothing to do with each other and "just retreat bro" which isnt even possible during sleeping. Get the rules checked before you bring illegal arguments, cowboy.
Penny is crazy because you can pick up an ogerpon with multiple energy and use them all again for more draws. Ive had turns where i teal dance a 3rd energy, penny it and do 3 more teal dances
I would recommend adding a dragon with Shred in the event that your opponent puts a pokemon in play by itself that can't be damaged by rule box pokemon and doesn't have an attack that can be copied by Mew ex like Mimikyu's. The fighting Ogerpon ex is an example. I play the single prize Koraidon with shred. I chose Koraidon over Giratina V because both are basic and could end up being put on the bench at the start of the game or by an opponents card like Erika's Invitation so would rather sacrifice 30 extra damage from an attack for a 1 prize pokemon over having a 2 prize pokemon on the field.
Now i know, from where the hell the dude i played against yesterday had hís decklist from😂If you do one mistake against this deck it will be a loose. that is what i experienced while playing against it, because regidrago has so many options to set his attacks.
So many people playing this on locals at my area. I just playing the Iron Thorns EX Deck with just 4 Iron Thorns and no other Pokémon. They can´t do anything haha
Azul, I’ve been thinking about this deck and Blissey Ex as an energy engine. It just seems like maybe that could be a better energy transfer mechanic? I haven’t tried it yet. Do you think it’s just cope?
i love the videos and i understand you have to play the algorithm game with YT. but when every headline is " this deck is crazy* its hard for me to actually know what your opinions are. cause not every deck can be broken lol
glad to see your back to explaining the deck before the games! the explanation was something i felt was missing from your previous vids.
Dude when the haxorus and kyurem come out this deck is gonna have so many options
agreed
What would be the best way to accelerate to kyurem without playing drago?
@@burningmagikarp4205 don't. Lol. I mean if they play colress then you're chilling but otherwise it's probably not worth it

Wdym? Pult is great

I have tested the altaria which puts to sleep with 2 coinflips. Its quite good, especially when you cant lasthit with the raging bolt

i've found that 2 noiverns help with the raging bolt/miraidon matchup as i can almost guarantee covert flight for turn 2 as well against them

A Mimikyu would annoy the shit out of this deck
I have played against it with this deck on TCG Live. You just have to boss/counter catcher something else into active and kill it with damage counters
You can tech baby koraidon in for shred, but tbh you can still play around mimikyu because phantom dive still snipes bench anyway
Can Drago copy Mew's copy to copy the opponent's attack?
P.S: This is a serious question.
Drago only copy dragon attacks so it wont be available to copy Mew’s attack 😉
Mimikyu just cooks you?
