Valtteri at times looks like the most clean, tidy, composed and fastest driver out there. Then some races goes completely missing, absolutely baffles me
he is not emotionally stable, he is an amazingly talented driver but rather gets his confidence hit by Lewis Hamilton being the first driver on the team
He played the wingman role for years, hope this year he can realy show what he is made of.

And funniest thing is from Sky Sports they show Hamilton & Bottas time differences in like every corner and Hamilton was way faster in that corner than Bottas and actually at that point Hamilton were faster than Bottas. Bottas did the difference in straights in sector 3 & end of sector 2.

Don't conflate "smoothest" with "greatest". Not the same thing by a long shot. What impressed about this lap was how smooth it was yet still fast enough for pole. Thought is was an out-lap at first. A notably special lap for sure.

Brilliant lap. The exit out of that final corner shows how much time you can gain on a long straight by getting the exit right. On the last corner, he was 0.34s up on his previous time and by the end of the final straight, he was 0.68s up. Absolutely nailed that final sector to take pole.
Looks like Mercedes may be hard to beat. Val is sharp.

How? Williams is fighting for its very survival, Ferrari can be dead last and still survive in some shape, way or form. All they have to do is to show up and they'll bag $50 million at the end of the season.

I think the positioning of the mic in 2014-2017 missed what was actually heard by drivers and people at the track. I think now 2018-2019 is more accurate to what is heard on track. Although I do prefer the combination of both in 2018

Well, in Bahrain he would have been 20 seconds back had it not been for the safety (futhermore, he was 30 seconds back at one stage...), and at the Chinese GP he finished 6.5 seconds back... Hardly looking super strong in my eyes!

Okay, Mercedes can have the Constructors Championship but as a pretty neutral fan I want these things to happen during the season, please:
1. Bottas wins Drivers Championship.
2. At least one win for Vettel and Leclerc each.
3. Ricciardo gets at least one podium.
4. Raikkonen gets at least one podium.
5. Kubica scores points.
6. Michael Schumacher’s health improves.
Kubica sucks. He won't score points. He can't even beat a rookie. Heidfeld owned him in 2009. Kimi sucks. He can't get a podium in a Ferrari so neither in an Alfa. Renault sucks. They won't ever get a podium.
All 18 remaining wins for Vettel is fine.
HELL YES AND AMEN to the last thing but I don't think it's possible.

As a Ferrari fan, I really cannot complain about Bottas and Hamilton fighting for the championship. It’s really great to see Bottas pushing as hard as he could to fight a 5 time world champ.
Rallying definitely benefitted Bottas. Excellent control on corner exits with minimum slidey rear. And that pirouette 👏

Ferrari will be lucky to finish. Leclerc is to green on this circuit and Vettel will struggle and spin. Bottas is strong on this track. He would have won last year if it weren't for a sloppy clean up crew leaving debris on the course.
And who was saying he got a tow from Lewis?
Yeah there was no meaningful tow with the car in front of Bottas being 4-5 seconds ahead. In the old days slipstreaming/towing meant the other car was about 1 sec ahead.

Problem with the ferrari is cold weather ,they cant warming up the tires when weather getting cold because of front wing design ,haas and alfa slightly have the same problem as well ,diffrence much more noticeble in cars among front
