@@MitchNotKeithorRob I did indeed hear that during the game but I think I was so drawn to your army because of the variety of units I had never seen on a table before. The beast master, the scourges, the mandrake kitbashes, I especially loved the Visarch archon and seeing those huge Talos. Very cool

Next time the Talos will be staying behind cover (the nids have got some nasty guns - who knew!) and I'll bring less haywire but more dark lances - just didn't want to list tailor. If you work out the final score there is only two points in it!
@@MitchNotKeithorRob just thought it was great how you kind of attacked in waves rather than piling in all at once and giving him lots of options to kill, they do some great damage once they get in there, just cool to see a different way of playing 👍🏼
@@danielrigione58 wave attacks you say... maybe I should take up the Guard next... send in the next wave! 🧐😂 No, you are exactly right though. The 'hit and recover' tactic is key for the detachment ability to pop off. It's also very thematic!
Really enjoyed the close ups on the drukari, lovely painted. A lot of battle reports skip over showing the army's, focusing on lists, but your style really adds to the immersion of the game.
There can´t be enough Tyranid battlereports! This match would have looked very different with 3 Acid sprays, but Raptures are more exciting. :) One mistake i´ve catched. Carnifexes can only get their bonus move once per phase.
The only thing worse than giant flesh eating bugs with teeth and claws that can cut through armour, can fire acid, stomp a man to death and will consume everything that gets in their way is.... The Drukhari
Ah where did I miss that buddy?! I thought I was good on the Talos re rolls through the game. Still not a good match for bugs though - hoping for 6s! They are great with every weapon but the melee being Twin Linked.

Hey buddy, yeah exactly that. I normally face lots of Dred Mob Orks, Mech Imp Guard and Votann. I said to Luke I don't want to list tailor at the start. It's a complete disadvantage but not narrative for the character of my Archon, Terakam Vane. Otherwise there would be Dark Lance Scourge and Heat Lance Talos everywhere in my list.😂
