I can't believe Tommy Tallarico talked about the Intellivision console in this one years prior to becoming the CEO of the Intellivision company.
This series is great, and the 80’s episodes were incredible, but if we ever get the 90’s, I’ll pay!💰
I think Pat has said 90s straight up won’t happen but we can always hope!
yes Pat has stated several times no more of these will ever happen ... hate to say it the 90's episodes would like 1.5 hours each.

I think the fact the Tommy is in this was because back then. Tommy was the guy u wanted to be like..oh wow that's Tommy T.....i envy him....but once you get into your life groove and take a look at yourself from the outside you realize that Tommy is a scummy piece of toe cheese. No wonder he's seeking a foot bath.....and then pat and Ian bash the controller ...love it carry on boys......
Especially him championing the Intellevision Disc Controller, it’s great that he loved it but still is an odd choice in 2022 or 20xx when it releases (if it releases)
His mom is so proud he's here.
Fun fact: the inventor of the Microvision was on the autism spectrum, and he also worked as a sound engineer for the band Kiss, and he helped to invent toys with electronic speech chips inside them. Source: the inventor’s autobiography, “Look Me In The Eye.”

My first memories of going to the arcade as a youngster, I was always drawn to the Galaxian machine. Because at like age 5, a quarter or two could actually last me 5 minutes or so of play time. And I actually felt like I was hanging with the cool older kids playing pinball ,lol.
I absolutely love this series. I have 1980-1990 bookmarked on Amazon and re-watch them regularly. Though, I have seen these previous years' episodes, I'm happy that you are reuploading them each week. Production value increases through the years but I love them all!
My parents had the first Intellivision. Triple Action was a favorite. My uncle had the Intellivision II and have the additional voice module. Bomb Squad! and B-17 Bawwwmer were favorites. The good old days ❤️
I had a Microvivision. I loved it. I had a pinball cart, a Star Trek cart and a breakout clone

Despite how old this video is it's still one of my favorite of the series! Maybe it's because it was the first episode I came across, or maybe it's the year I was born? Never the less it's interesting to see just how far we have come from those forgotten years of gaming!

A few years before my time but definitely more games I can connect with. Galaga was one of the first games I played, still enjoy it today.

People tend to think that their favorite entertainers should all be as pure as the driven snow in their personal lives. Its stupid.

Vector graphics is pretty simple. Use vectors (2 points connected by a line) to build whatever shapes you want to display on the screen. Love the classic vector games! BASIC is called BASIC because it stands for Beginners All-Purpose Symbolic Instruction Code. Awesome video guy's, wish there were more episodes.
Keith passed away in 2017 .... a Legend he saved the history of Intellivision .

Why is the camera and mic quality on Pat and Ian noticeably lower than on everyone else? I dont recall it being like that on the other episodes

5:30 In his memoir Ralph Baer insisted that only games that use the raster scan are true video games. That would kind of kick vector graphics games out of the club; sucks.
Used to get basic games for "free" in ....the PC magazine my dad used to get...u had to program by copying the TXT...lots of typos printed

The Atari 400 and 800 home computers came out in Nov 1979. The 400 would be repackaged as the 5200 in 1982, with no new enhancements apart from a modern case that is huge but otherwise looks fantastic. But in 1979. The 400 and 800 blew all the competition away.
