I do love how easy it is to for you to translate cigs bullshite nowadays.

I mean ,watching him throw a hissy fit is hilarious.
So to sums things up, in this ISC we've seen :
- The P8AR rifle
- Pyro themed weapons including : SMG - Assault Rifle - a shotgun looking like a variant of the Deadrig - a razorblade accessory equipable on the Coda Pistol - a long range melee blade and some knifes concepts
- The new gun manufacturer VOLT with : The Parralax AR - a 2nd Volt gun, probably an SMG, that also shoots an electric laser beam - a Volt pistol - a Volt shotgun
- 1 new grenade, probably flash grenade + 1 new mine or grenade that we see at the start creating some sort of red electric chain reaction
- 2 variants of the medpen, a rusty white one (Pyro themed) as well as the larger "SRS Medpen" looking more military-styled with green fluid (maybe it heals everything like the medgun ?)
- A red and black concept SMG
- A concept LMG looking similar to the Karna weapons
- A freaking concept MINIGUN
- A concept foldable gun (taser gun or portable fire extinguisher maybe ?)
- The sus looking "duck tape" tool (may be a joke from the devs tho)
- What looks like anti-ship mines concepts
- A sneak peak at two new face tatoos
The amount of stuff shown is insane. I'm loving it !
So like a week of work for 3-4 people at most...bu ch of jpegs

So the P8-AR seems to be a heavier AR. Say the P4-AR is akin to a standard 5.56 NATO rifle, well the P8-AR seems to me more akin to a 308 WIN/7.62 NATO rifle with that slower fire rate and heaver audio. It kind of seems to be like a SCAR-17S but of course in a video game it has the fully automatic fire function enabled.

The biggest enemy of progress is those fucking meetings.
All Pyro makeshift guns should jam or misfire constantly st 80% ware or more and should ware whit each single shot. So that they require constant maintenance to keep using.
Hopefully this is the case. Makes surviving in Pyro actually tough.
Imagine going to the back of your ship, while your friend is flying, and throwing mines out the back at a pursuer.
If Pyro is more survival and they somehow magically get base building in within 2 years after Pyro. That would be the definition of insanity (positively.) That would draw so many new players. Pyro being a survival, gatherer, crafter star system... next thing you know we have thrown together ships maybe like Reaver ships from Firefly.

I think knives will be much cooler when they start scanning for weapons and such going into terminals, stations, buildings, public outposts, etc. Places where it may be illegal to carry a gun, but you can conceal a knife.

It would be logical to create weapons from already existing weapons as well. That is, modified and homemade weapons from standard already existing weapons, taking into account the lack of parts.
BTW, will we ever see a loss of oxygen in the armor when shot through?

Don’t joke about it, Jared seems to feel confident enough to spend a day doing that just to jbait you the backer. theyve already stopped showing us the fancy stuff, in fact, the existence of citizencon, incentivises witholding information all year long. citizencon is a money first sale of an in person event to showcase new information on the progress of the game...YOU CANT HAVE A CITIZENCON AND MAINTAIN TRUE OPEN DEVELOPMENT but hey those tickets gotta sell, still upset we dont have new ladder animations. 3 years is the new 2 years away when it comes to anything you see at citizencon
Being originally from Minnesota, which outguns Switzerland, I do appreciate that SC's guns are better than a lot of MMO's in terms of looks and animations. One day, I hope that they will have better range and accuracy than the BB guns I had growing up. But I'm sure for the Manchester office, with a team made up mostly of Europeans, he probably knows more than most... And I think most of the US transfers have mostly been from the LA office, not the Austin office.

What kind of watershed year is this, they lurched past the end of ILW and just shat the bed entirely, all the momentum ground to a halt, a new 3.xx patch gets thrown in front of 4.0 (because 3.23.2 has taken months to get into evo despite all its features being 'ready to go' at 'a moment's notice' on April 19...), ISC is spending three weeks being mini-SCL because they don't have anything game related to talk about and the year's "new format" fell apart as soon as 3.23 was out the door. What the fuck is going on lol. Why are we just watching CIG implode after releasing half a patch.
The teasers are fine or whatever but like, idk. Why can't the game content be the focus instead of the people, basically no other project I can think of works this way.

19:03 looks like a reusable medpen. I actually started this video having similar opinions about this ISCs content, but so far I'm getting pretty excited! Hopefully we'll get ETAs around CitCon for these items, because I highly doubt CIG will share anything newsworthy until then
Okay, hear me out... Normally, I would be strongly against adding another beam to the game- however... The idea of an overcharged/unstable utility beam being used as a weapon when projectiles and ammunition are hard to come by- that's VERY cool, I like that a lot. Especially if you consider the fact that a lot of us used the mining beam to injure players already- albeit in a sort of trolling fashion.

I got into star citizen because of the community but i left because of the game. I know people have been hyping up the 3.23 updates vut fundamentally they have inproved the game itself so little. I stopped playint because of how clear it is that the developers don't want to focus on new gameplay. All weve gotten is new ways of doing the same thing. We are always finding some spawn location to blow up a ship or two shoot a guy that our journal tells us to do.
Cargo is the only promising update they have told us about since citizencon. But honestly i dont think cargo alone is even close to making the PTU fun. We need something to grind for that we can use our ships for that is outside of monetization that takes real skill. Something all players can come back to and actually enjoy and not feel like a chore
Coming back from 4 weeks of holidays, and the first thing out of his mouth is "we'll just waste your time for the next 3 weeks". And after that, they already go radio silent for citcon, right?
Guys, it's not necessarily different types of mines. He's a lead concept artist, he makes variations of a main idea to later select the best of them.

I could be wrong but that first guy sounds like a sales rep pitching a product he really doesnt know anything about, like a manager hired from a completely different line of business put in place just to "manage" with zero product knowledge, but again I could be wrong
None of anything they said matters if the Ai is just standing there. Or if when i get into PVP the gun doesnt reload, or I have to charge it like 5 times before it actually shoots. Or the other guy rubberbands around and none of the bullets actually hit them, as my guy dies instantly with full heavy armor on against a guy with a pistol and no armor. It's hard to get excited about anything, with server issues like that.

Useless fun fact: Novia was the main continent in Shroud of the Avatar. So at least they kept a small nod to that project for the crossbow. It's a shame the game was trash, because there would have been other easter eggs like the Vanduul staff weapon and who knows what else connecting the game lore.

I think this is a perfect example of what is entirely wrong with star citizen. A company called Volt making a ballistic weapon labeled a heavy light machine gu. That is star citizen in a nutshell.
