I wish this one had the additional length of your Yale Crew doc. I feel like there's more story for the boathouse to tell, and the tanks, and the stadium, and the river. I think, as much as anything, I just want "more" because what's here has provided a rare visit back to my own halcyon days trekking to and from Newell. Great job.
Just discovered Nick Trojan's films on US collegiate coaches and programmes. Compulsive viewing. As a rowing coach, I learn and find a common bond in their mindset. Please continue providing these insights from across the pond.

I'm reading a book right now about Harry Parker and stumbled upon this video. Great job! I've only rowed on an erg but these documentaries make me want to take the next step and start rowing on water.
Love rowing, I only used the erg, but wish my high school at the time had a rowing team but they didn’t, and I love Harvard I always sound the air horn in the ambulance when I go by the boat house

I have zero connection to the subject of Nick's videos, but the content and quality of them are so compelling. Treasures, especially for those who do have a connection to the sport and/or schools.
Agreed. The first two were shorter based on limited resources and time to shoot but all were treated with the same intensity and care along the way. Hopefully there will be “Part II’s” in the future if they’ll have me back.

i am currently in the process of filming a documentary on women in rowing for my film class and am absolutely in awe of the shots you've gotten. they are beautifully executed! what kind of equipment do you use? very jealous over here.
Ha! It’s an eclectic city with honest and hardworking people that are often misunderstood if you’re not from there or haven’t spent too much time visiting. I love everything about it.
Again, these documentaries are made based on those who want to share their story through my lens. I don’t believe it was ever stated that this program or any others are superior to one another. This is simply sharing the craft of each program and expose different styles in coaching, training, etc. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching
