Joker's laugh at end of Mask of the Phantasm made my skin crawl. Hamill captured perfectly the character of the deranged psycopath that doesn't care if he dies.
@@timtwoface He made a phenomenal Joker and the fact that he wanted to be in every movie if Kevin Conroy was playing Batman makes me appreciate him even more. Their performances together are unparalleled.
I'm so glad Jared Leto's Joker didn't even get a mention. The character has been portrayed by great actors, and I've always thought that Mark Hamill's Joker was the best, and set the stage for the most psychotic live action portrayals that came later.
Joker using a joy buzzer to kill one of Grimson's men in '89 Batman is freaky to watch and Jack's singing as it is happening is a brief comic moment.😮😮😊😊
Honestly the Joker movie was less about the clown prince of crime and more of a commentary on mental health and society featuring well known comic book characters
I had no remorse for her. Basically did NOTHING, while her son was being abused all those years. To make matters worse, she lied to him about everything.
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! 8:45 I think "Batman (1989)" had the darkest feeling of all Batman movies. When I watched that movie for the first time, I felt like I was watching a horror movie. 🤣
Mark Hamill IS the Joker, hands down. Nobody will ever compare. Jack Nicholson's performances may not have been the fan favorite, but they've always stuck around in my head.
Over 15 years of ‘The Dark Knight.’ The BEST among Christopher nolan’s Batman trilogy. One of the best superhero movies ever made. Mr. Hedger, we still miss you so much…
So many great moments. Joker executes Bonk,Joker scare jumps,The Mask of Phantasm,Arthur breaks into apartment. So sad it's halucination. Heartbreaking. Joker breaks Tim,just awful and creepy. Send in the clowns is extremely creepy. Perfect movie! I watched in cinema with aunt. Perfect! Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker is terrifying. It's horror movie essentially. Dinner with Joker disturbing but perfect scene. After all it's Jack😁Attacking Barbara is disgusting, horrible. We see this in Arkham City too Interrogating Batman impersonator. Live with Murray Frenklin extremely disturbing. Perfect number 1. Mark is the best Joker in voice acting. Heath is the best Joker in live action. They're perfect. Excellent video!
Also when Jack's Joker talking to the burned thug about what to do with the other thugs and the bone crack that the body makes when he grabs it is also a bit disturbing.
In the #5 moment from Dark Knight, Michael Caine said he was genuinely terrified on set during that scene, it was his first scene with Heath Ledger for the film.
The best Joker and Heath Ledger! Nice to see Jerome from Gotham on the list too, and a great Joker prototype! Cameron Monaghan was great at playing Jerome!
Same here. He really freaked me out when I was a kid. Especially that scene near the end, where he gets punched in the face by Batman and he spits out blood (a long with those chattering teeth)
the hospital scene is my favorite Joker scene because the dialogue is unbelievable and also is pretty scary its scary because he truly is not joking at that moment…he is telling Harvey what he actually believes in a serious matter which is rare plus a lot of what he says is true
9:09 The fact that he disfigured Alicia and ruined her modeling career for his sick twisted reasons is unspeakable. And it looks as though he keeps her drugged so that she's docile.
Jack Nicholson's version is the only one trully faithful to the comic version of the Joker's character That's why he's the only one out of them all that I consider played the TRUE Joker Heath Ledger's version, on the other habd, I despise. Yes, his interpretation was indeed spectacular, yet that version of the Joker is simply way too sane, his plan seemed so meticulously thought out to the very tiniest detail It felt like some anarchistic terrorist mastermind who wanted to play the Joker instead of the actual Joker It's not Ledger's fault at all though, it's the script writers' fault
The bat dance was the scariest scene I’ve seen in the Batman movies. I would have given the title to the torture of Barbara Gordon except that they lightened it from the comic version
When Batman kidnapped Tim Drake and turn him into mini Joker . I think Batman would've broken his oath of not killing criminals and straight up murder the Joker
The most terrifying Joker moment for me is when he shoots and violates Barbra. Those eyes give me chills every time!! However the part that is the hardest to watch for me is when he’s singing “I go loony” and tortures poor Commissioner Gordon with photos of his daughter.
I'm sorry. Batman: The Killing Joke was #1. It took the Joker to a dark place. If we had gotten Heath as a Joker in a second film, I can only imagine him being that style of Joker.
A dying Joker watching the World of the Future fair exploding around him. Maybe I'm a psycho, but the irony of that is hilarious. Times change, but(among other things) we'll always have good old Mister J!
No knock tonthe formers but Heath ledger and Joaquin Phoenix are legitimately the most terrifying live action Jokers to me. Phoenix is just deranged and unhinged but Ledger? 💀 Its like staring into the definition of insanity. God the legacy he left as the Joker is telling.
Yeah, when I first played Arkham Knight Joker shot alive. I didn’t know that that would happen and I legit screamed 😅 I haven’t been able to redo it again since
Do you know what having so many mid-roll ads on one single video does to someone? Especially someone with a slow connection that freezes every half a second when he can't pause the video? It makes him block your channel.
Only the Joker could leave such a mark on Gotham's cultural consciousness that 30 years later street punks are emulating him. In fact I read a graphic novel once where 1000 years later criminals are still doing it!

@@infamouswickedjokestarGet out! Joker kills Commissioner Gordon in that movie?!
@@Jeremiah_Rivers76 i forgot who it was. Most likely the Gotham's chief detective lol
Joker's laugh at end of Mask of the Phantasm made my skin crawl. Hamill captured perfectly the character of the deranged psycopath that doesn't care if he dies.
That one moment was the very pinnacle of his voice acting in that role.
@@timtwoface He made a phenomenal Joker and the fact that he wanted to be in every movie if Kevin Conroy was playing Batman makes me appreciate him even more. Their performances together are unparalleled.
The Joker knew he was doomed at the moment, and was laughing at his fate.
IMO, that's the best Joker moment, period.
@@hippityshmippity Absolutely. The most maniacal laugh you'll hear in life.
Gerome was definitely a Joker in my heart, I never finished the series but he was FANTASTIC! Would like to see that actor play the Joker again.
I'm so happy you included Jerome from Gotham. He was sooo good as he who would be Joker
Batman is the hero that Gotham needs because Joker is the villain that Gotham deserves
This.

Ba dum tsss
.
Thank you been saying that for yrs
I'm so glad Jared Leto's Joker didn't even get a mention. The character has been portrayed by great actors, and I've always thought that Mark Hamill's Joker was the best, and set the stage for the most psychotic live action portrayals that came later.
He was pretty good as a depressed Joker in Zack Snyder's Justice League... I thought. He was terrible in Suicide Squad...
Batman is the hero that Gotham needs, but doesn't deserve.....while Leto was the Joker who nobody asked for.
@@Bowiebonolennon1982 With good writing he would have pulled it off
Joker using a joy buzzer to kill one of Grimson's men in '89 Batman is freaky to watch and Jack's singing as it is happening is a brief comic moment.😮😮😊😊
15+ years of ‘The Dark Knight.’
We all still missed Heath Ledger a lot…
he is one of my favorite actors, but he is not longer here... :(
Yes next to Kevin Conroy which has been a year since his pass.
Honestly the Joker movie was less about the clown prince of crime and more of a commentary on mental health and society featuring well known comic book characters
Seeing Arthur did to Penny still makes me shiver. Joaquin Phoenix deserved the Oscar award for his performance
I had no remorse for her. Basically did NOTHING, while her son was being abused all those years. To make matters worse, she lied to him about everything.
The Joker is the greatest villain in the DC Universe
Multiverse
5:39 glad to see that is on your list. Love the joker from Arkham Origins!
One of my favorite Batman villains!
Mark hamills laugh was so perfect
‘The Dark Knight.’
‘Joker.’
‘Batman.’
These are my top 3 most favorite live-action, non-DCEU movies of all time.
Thank you for the update, WatchMojo..!! 8:45 I think "Batman (1989)" had the darkest feeling of all Batman movies. When I watched that movie for the first time, I felt like I was watching a horror movie. 🤣
Jack scared me a the Joker when I was growing up.
No sign of Jared Leto...now that's a good list.
Mark Hamill IS the Joker, hands down. Nobody will ever compare.
Jack Nicholson's performances may not have been the fan favorite, but they've always stuck around in my head.
Mark Hamill truly is the Joker, just like Kevin Conroy will always be the Batman.
He’s not a fan favorite now for folks now, but for nearly 20 years, Jack was the definitive Joker. He’s personal favorite.
Maybe when it came to his animated counterpart, but overall, nobody will match Heath Ledger's Joker. Not even Mark Hamill.
Those jump scares from Arkham Knight were both scary and hilarious at the same time.
Jack Nicholsons portrayal of the Joker was the best.
You can't really compare every version of the Joker, since they are all different.
What’s scary about the Joker is everything he has a near death experience he keeps coming back🎃🎃🎃
Lots of these are chilling but I’ve got to say the comics really tap into the depths of his depravity.
Still the only clown 🤡 that is both scary 😱 and hilarious 😂
Joker: 🎶I'm back...!🎶 (laughing)
Over 15 years of ‘The Dark Knight.’
The BEST among Christopher nolan’s Batman trilogy.
One of the best superhero movies ever made.
Mr. Hedger, we still miss you so much…
The Joker is one of my favorite villains from DC. The Joker Hospital Scene is missing.
The actor who played jerome nailed the role of jerome /jerimiah

Agreed, I would've put that on the list.
I have a hard time deciding who did the best job as Joker between Mark Hamill, Heath Ledger, and Joaquin Phoenix
Mark Hamil is The Joker.
He's the King and Number 1 Joker.
I'd put Heath and Joaquin on the same pedestal
In the #5 moment from Dark Knight, Michael Caine said he was genuinely terrified on set during that scene, it was his first scene with Heath Ledger for the film.
In this town, clowns are never funny. (Barbara Gordan in Return Of The Joker)
The best Joker and Heath Ledger!
Nice to see Jerome from Gotham on the list too, and a great Joker prototype!
Cameron Monaghan was great at playing Jerome!
When he beat Jason with a crowbar
My pick would be when he tricked Superman into killing Lois, he caused all of the issues in injustice
Jack Nicholson’s portrayal of the Joker used to scare the crap out of me as a little girl, but I did enjoy his portrayal of the character.
Same here. He really freaked me out when I was a kid. Especially that scene near the end, where he gets punched in the face by Batman and he spits out blood (a long with those chattering teeth)
@@DonPutt yep. However, I loved his portrayal of the character. He set the bar high for future portrayals.
"Winged freak terrorizes? Wait til they get a lot of me!!!"
Joker is why Batman is Batman. An incredible villain beyond explanation
Heath Ledger Joker is scariest
A good time to release this video on Halloween night.
12:22 A reintroduction to Gotham fit for a prince? And Prince wrote and performed the songs?
The dark knight is awesome
Conroy and Hamill are best Batman and Joker forever.
the hospital scene is my favorite Joker scene because the dialogue is unbelievable and also is pretty scary
its scary because he truly is not joking at that moment…he is telling Harvey what he actually believes in a serious matter which is rare plus a lot of what he says is true
How about the top 10 worst things Count Dracula has ever done
You mean like "Love at First Bite"? "Dracula: Dead and Loving It"? "Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein"?
The joker is a murderer, a monster. A physcopatical monster.
The next Joker list should be the his most infamous quotes. We know which Joker has the most quotable lines.
Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moon light
Heath Ledger is best live action joker, Mark Hamill for practically every other joker.
Lady Gaga is going to be Harley Quinn in “Joker: Folie à Deux”. But because of Joker’s violent nature, it’s going to be a “Bad Romance”.
Joker is one of the best villains for halloween! 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃

The joker movie had such incredible strings musical aspect
Miss ya Heath
W video also happy Halloween
I love y’all include Jerome and Jeremiah. They’re incredibly underrated
He is our sunshine he is our destiny
12:09 “it’s me, sugar bumps”.
The scene where joker first saw his face in the mirror in batman 89 and begins laughing should've been on this list. But otherwise great list.
9:09 The fact that he disfigured Alicia and ruined her modeling career for his sick twisted reasons is unspeakable. And it looks as though he keeps her drugged so that she's docile.
Heath played the joker best in my opinion
More like everyone's opinion.
From live action, yes. But Mark Hammil's voice performances are really good. Also 2019's version is different and good too.
Jack Nicholson joker is scarier. I know there's a video online on why his Joker is more of a horror movie villain.
Hamil is definitely the scariest cartoon Joker in history
If this list shows at least one thing, it's that "Gotham" ist vastly underrated...
Jarod Leto playing a joker is the scariest one
🤣🤣🤣🤣
please do scariest harley quinn moments
I was REALLY hoping the scars story would be number one. That scene terrified me when I was a kid.

Joker: "this fruitcake is fantastic, anyone want a piece?"
If there’s no joker there’s no Batman!
You know, I'm having a hard time seeing how #14 is disturbing. 🤡
I picked Joker's villian path for the fifth episode of The Enemy Within, and I don't regret it. TellTale needs to give us a third Batman season.

Scariest Joker moment, casting Jared Leto. Who came up with that idea?
Joker is the scariest and craziest villain of the Batman series in my opinion.
I disagree about The Joker movie and everything about it being the Joker. It was just someone that was delusional
Jack Nicholson is the scariest Joker. Prove me wrong
The dark night, every Batman animated shows, gotham, and the arckam games have all scarier joker
Heath Ledger is second only to Hamill a shame that he left us too soon. I could imagine a number of sequels he could have made as the joker.
