Девочка прекрасна. И двигается чудесно. Но есть одно "но"- нельзя ставить детей на пуанты, пока им не исполнилось 11 лет. Поскольку необходимо дождаться, когда стопа ребёнка сформируется и окрепнет. Иначе в старшем возрасте у балерины может появиться огромное количество проблем, (например порок развития костей) которые в конечном счёте будут препятствием для развития карьеры танцора.
She's very, very lovely but 8 years old is absolutely too young for pointe shoes and can cause the body severe damage later on. Get off pointe! I can see the strain on her legs and feet, even though she's incredible. She puts her whole heart into her dancing. She has a very beautiful arabesque line. Go back to demi pointe exclusively and get back to pointe at age 11. And change ballet schools right away. Protect your body, which has to be with you for a lifetime.
some people will receive damage; some won't. i saw a ballerina who started when she was five and had a very long career. most competitive dancers are doing full pointe by the age of 10 nowadays. with proper technique and training it will work out. at a strip mall dance school where they take class twice per week? not so much.
I think She Is a superstar, Amazing, really. However her young body Is not ready for such an effort, in some momento of the variazione I was afraid her ankle could crack, and It was definitely too much work on her legs. Technique becomes weak when she does not meet a fully formed skeleton or bones. If this fantastic girl doesn't get serious injuries in the process, she will be a Queen of ballet. Детство у девочки не сформировавшейся... кости, тело и ноги:пахать ежедневно часами в таком-то возрасте: не ставят на пуанты до 12÷13 лет. Какой ужас! Пожалейте её! Изорудуют ребёнку безжалостно жизнь & здоровье своими личными амбициями безжалостно лишив радости детства именно родители от которых у нее пока что нет защиты. Бог им судья. 20 лет пролетит и она им выскажет. И вовсе не обязательно полюбив танец с 3х лет как моя дочь скажем, после зарабатывать (всю ли ?) жизнь на хлеб только вот этим. Родители ограничивают развитие и жизнь растущего человека, превращая успех& радость в навязчивую идею уничтожающую возможность счастья и радости жизни в дальней перспективе.
Меня поставили на пуанты в 9 лет и убили стопы. Две оптопедических операции, по месяцу в гипсовых сапогах. Разошлись кости стоп, их ломали и формировали стопы заново.
К сожалению у вас так получилось. Лично я, занимаюсь профессионально художественной гимнастикой, а также балетом. Все нормально, травмы были минимальные.
Way to young to dance on pointe. I don’t care if it’s diffrent in Russia but 8 is too early. Her bones haven’t really hardened and it can be really dangerous. She might have the strength but her young feet might not be ready for this!

No. In Russia we know little girls shouldn't go en pointe! Anyone responsible does! It causes irreversible injuries. When I was 9 I had an irresponsible teacher and I when en pointe. Still doing ballet but I have injury prone knees and ankles. NEVER let a child under 10 EVER go en pointe.
Beautiful work, demonstates great strength and charm of smile. Concern 8 year old on point,so much growth to foot bones has yet to mature. Maybe times have change, amazingly beautiful.

Девочка очень способная , танцевальная . Но !!! Балет не дореволюционный цирк . Пуанты - рано . Ноги не готовы . Дорогие родители ,поступайте в хореографическое училище . What a beautiful young, very young performer! Her dancing has it All: technique, interpretation, incredible suppleness and leg extension. She will go far if her body is not overworked too much at a young age and her diet is good. It’s so important to build strong bones and cartilage. While I was amazed to see her on pointe shoes, I agree with other commentators here that it is too early for her to be en pointe unless her teachers are certain that her ankles, feet and legs have developed the strength to do so, and even so there’s the consideration of what the compression will do to the bone plates in each bone where growth originates etc. However, that aside, it is an amazing performance and was wonderful and uplifting to watch. I wish this lovely young lady every success in her future. 💕

румынская девочка заслужила одни восторги, она действительно феномен. А тут не столько злые, сколько справедливые. И на пуанты рано, и рассинхрон с музыкой очевиден. Маленькая еще, конечно, ей все простится. Но если уж ступила на трудный путь балетного искусства, то должна привыкать к его строгим требованиям. Иначе так "маленькой" и останется, до зрелости.

Amazingly beautiful turn out for an 8 year old. She should mature more so her skeletal system is strong enough and avoid injuries that could be devastating for her ballet career. Very promising ballerina.

А зачем в 5-6-8? Приём в Вагановку или МГАХ после 4го класса начальной школы т.е. как правило 10-11 лет, может 9 если раньше начальную школу закончили. Они не требуют предварительных занятий, смотрят только на тело, пропорции, подъём ноги, шаг (назад и вбок, учитель ноги подымает), гибкость, выворотность, прыжок, координацию и музыкальность. У них это на страницах написано. Посмотрите также "Танец Маленьких Лебедей", документальный фильм о приёме. Если природных данных нет, так хоть вариации в 8 лет танцевать, не поможет. Если всё есть, так есть шанс. Как я читала, сейчас многие приходят подготовленные, и тем, кто не занимался раньше в первый год тяжелее, но если не вылететь, так может всё хорошо быть. Занятия могут помочь с прыжком и гибкостью, но у некоторых это есть от природы. А пуанты раньше времени не к чему.
@Настя Кактус Они смотрят на природную гибкость, а дальше могут сами потом растянут, тут видео было, где делали это с девочкой, которой не хватало. Во всех хореографических академиях России принимают после окончания 4го класса при переходе в 5й, если ещё 11, но уже закончили 5й класс, так могут взять с потерей года, как взяли Олю в фильме Танец Маленьких Лебедей. Посмотрите сами условия приёма в Вагановке и МГАХе, есть на их страницах. Я читала детали просмотра на форуме учёба отзыв. Тур 1: смотрят форму (пропорции, фигуру, общий вид), подъём стопы, шаг (учитель подымает ногу вбок и назад), гибкость (учитель наклоняет назад), выворотность - учитель сажает в плие, прыжок, чувство ритма - повторить ритм, который учитель хлопает, координацию и музыкальность (девочек просят станцевать польку, мальчиков вроде бы марш, в фильме Танец Маленьких Лебедей, учитель учит девочку, которая не знает как, прямо там). Тур 2 - медицинский осмотр. Тур 3 - то же самое, что первый тур, но уже выбирают лучших. Ранние занятия могут помочь с растяжкой и прыжком, но есть те у кого это от природы. Как я читала, сейчас в основном приходят с предварительной подготовкой, некоторые приходят из спорта, чаще - художественной гимнастики, но если придёт совсем начинающая, но с хорошими природными данными, так они возьмут. Предварительная подготовка может помочь с гибкостью или прыжком, но у некоторых это есть от природы. Начинают с нуля, но естественно тем, кто не занимался вначале тяжело. Тех, кто подготовлен, часто выбирают танцевать Машеньку или в па де труа в Щелкунчике ещё в первом классе, но это не так уж сильно влияет на будущее. Там главное - получить хорошие оценки на экзамене по классичекому танцу. Кстати, Мария Хорева занималась художественной гимнастикой до приёма в Вагановку. А что касается ранних пуантов и взрослых вариаций, так сам Цискаридзе об этом отрицательно отзывался здесь тоже видео есть.
There are many of these gifted, dedicated young ballet dancers on TH-cam but I shudder when I watch. Can't someone invent some choreography suitable for 8 year old CHILDREN, which is what they are. This is the equivalent of watching 8 year olds sing about cheating lovers. Totally inappropriate, and I HOPE they don't know what the ballet/song is actually about at 8 years old. I agree with all the comments about it being so wrong that this child is already en pointe. She is clearly struggling with the advanced technique required of this piece and the fixed smile indicates that she is concentrating so hard on getting her extensions as extended as they possibly can be that she could not possibly be enjoying the experience. Childhood is about joy, not about trying to conquer a Variation that even seasoned ballerinas struggle with. These brilliant young dancers need to be directed towards less physically demanding choreography that still allows them to HAPPILY show their skills and is still lovely to watch without them having to 'climb mountains' before they have sufficient mountaineering strength, training and skills. Come on all you choreographers out there - here's the challenge! (and songwriters for the gifted children singers)

It's a complicated story of an alluring gypsy girl (who the 8 yo is trying to portray), a marriage of convenience, jilted fiancées, clerics attracted to said young gypsy girl, attempted murder, etc. But it all comes out well in the end. It is a ballet drama for adults.
no doubt that she's talented, but she's not getting fully over on the box of her shoe and that could really mess up the flexibility in her feet in the long run. also, when you're 8, most people's feet aren't done growing and it's insanely unsafe to be on pointe. when she went into the section where she was doing grande battement on pointe, you could really tell that her ankles weren't as steady as they should be. don't get me wrong, she is AMAZING for her age but it's really unsafe to be on pointe that young
i'm 14 and i've had my pointe shoes for a year. my feet just stopped growing. i waited even though i've been training in ballet since i was 2. i'm legit so worried for this little girl tho
Nobody should be on point until there at least 11 and it’s not A matter of how good you are it’s a matter of the development of your bones and health her parents and teachers should know this
She's a very talented dancer, don't get me wrong. Truly impressive! The last thing I want to be is a stick in the mud but, 8 years old and on pointe? Isn't that a bit young?
Pretty amazing for being that age! Although, as a trained ballet dancer myself, that started at eight years old, I predict that she will have multiple ailments by her twenties. And that's if she's lucky. Surgery will be necessary for her knees, hips, etc. moving forward, I'm afraid.
It doesn't look now like she'll have any career in ballet anyway. A couple of years after that video she was accepted to the Vaganova academy (whose rector had told her earlier to stop dancing adult variations, audition for the academy and start there from the beginning), but after 3 years there she was expelled for not having the right body. She transferred to the academy of choreography in Minsk, it was on her instagram, but then, she closed her instagram account. I don't know if it means she decided not to use instagram anymore or because she left ballet. Whatever happens, it just shows that these adult variations means zero for future. Now, Maria Bulanova and Lada Sartakova don't seem to have issues from starting early, neither has Ksenia Zhiganshina, but I guess for a few who succeed, there are many who either leave or, like you said, have problems later.
@@jewelmarkess I studied under the late Madame Marina Svetlova as a child. She accepted me at the age of eight because of my talents. But she emphasized to my parents that my bones were still growing (obviously), and that I was really too young! I'm also an exception, and have few issues. I.e., primarily lower back/hips. But I later trained with world renowned Madam Gabriela Darvash for many years. Psychologically and emotionally, she was incredibly abusive. But I have NEVER had an injury. I'm 57.

There is a video here of when she came to a Russian tv talent show where one of the judges was Nikolay Tsiskaridze where he told her to stop what she was doing, as I mentioned. He told the same thing to another little girl, Natasha Furman, also in a video here. At that time, there was a principal of the Bolshoi theater, Shipulina, in the audience. She said how at 9, she wasn't even thinking of being en pointe and the closest she got to the stage was in the audience of the Bolshoi and that was in spite of her parents being ballet dancers. To that Tsiskaridze replied "your parents would never have allowed you en pointe at 9." The others I mentioned are also here, but they are still pretty young. Zhiganshina, Bulanova and Sartakova started at a private studio in St Petersburg, Kuramshin's, which is somewhat notorious of putting kids en pointe early and having them perform in his theater. Zhiganshina left his studio at around 15 and got accepted to the 5th year at the Vaganova academy, she is now a soloist in Bolshoi. I believe she is 27. (edited) Lada left Kuramshin's studio at 10 or 11, got accepted to the first year at the Vaganova academy and started there from the beginning. Maria Bulanova's case is more interesting. She started at the VBA's pre-entry course at 9-10, got accepted a year later, but then expelled because she refused to leave Kuramshin's studio, continued to perform there and went to a competition. She got re-admitted later to the 6th year, graduated in 2018, now a soloist in Mariinsky. Lada graduated earlier this year and now at corps in Primorsky stage of the Mariinsky. I don't know if they have any health issues, but they are still young.
Charming but way too young to be on pointes and perform such a difficult ballet, children are not circus animals, they can burn themselves in such exercises. She is doing very difficult things but she is out of rhythm and it is normal ! The parents and school should protect her better ! She is adorable and I hope she is doing well now !

If you start a child at pointe this young you run danger of deforming the child's feet for life as children's bones are still so soft and moldable.
Is that true? I'd heard about it, but after seeing so many young girls doing it, I am not so sure. They must have trainers and professors who would prevent them or their parents!
Yes. I am a dance teacher and have students who are 11 and 12 and just got en pointe. I sent them to Drs to get feet checked and to make sure growth plates have stopped growing first.

Yes she’s good and all but, she should not be en pointe at that age. 8? My studio makes us wait until we are 12 to even try for pointe let alone actually go on because we need to make sure our growth plates in out feet are fully developed to prevent injury. As well as being en pointe for 9 months before performing en pointe.

Пуанты запрещены в хореографических училищах до определённого возраста. Лично цискаридзе призывал родителей не калечить талантливых детей ранними пуантами.

Видео выложено 4 года назад. Сейчас она к сожалению сильно поправилась та и у неё 2 по классике. Так что все эти конкурсы с 6 лет ничего не дали кроме кубков и дипломов
Измотали ребёнка эти невозрастные вариации и конкурсы , до такой степени измотали, и , даже поступив в Академию Вагановой начать пришлось с нуля, и отчислили на второй год. Всему своё время.
As a former ballet dancer, that's what I was told. This girl is amazing, but I fear she's looking at a future of chronic pain :( I hope she's at least got a conditioning coach.
It depends completely on the dancer, but you want them to be old enough for their feet to be mostly grown. 11-12 is the bare minimum...8 is far too young and it can screw up her feet for life. You can see her struggling with some of the moves and there's a few times she's not over her box. She would have looked even better in flats.

Made my day! After a difficult few hours of pain I turned my iPad on and saw this beautiful little girl dancing ballet and it warmed my heart and for a while made me feel better....thank you sweetheart..love from the U.K.. X
A very talented child indeed, BUT wrong on so many levels. This performance show little care for the child physically or emotionally. The variation is a flirtation with certain sexual undertones. Why train an 8 year old child in this?
Моя младшая дочь учится в танцевальной школе. Нам разрешили пуанты только в 12 лет лет. Сейчас она готовит вариацию Купидона на конкурс. Ей 13, ноги устают, то одна косточка вспухнет, то другая... Как родителям не жаль свою дочь? Если она повредит ноги в таком юном возрасте, то это просто поставит крест на всей ее танцевальной карьере...
В государственных академиях, как МГАХ и Вагановка, одевают пуанты во второй половине первого класса, т.е. приблизительно в 11. Здесь есть видео с конкурса Синяя Птица, где Цискаридзе ей говорит, что всему своё время, что нужно перестать танцевать взрослые вариации, поступить в академию, когда подойдёт срок, где она начнёт сначала. К сожалению, у неё испортилась фигура, и её через 3 года после поступления исключили. Потом в её инстаграм было, что она поступила в Беларусскую хореографическую гимназию-колледж, но сейчас она вообще закрыла инстаграм.

А что касается страстной любви к театру, так не понятно это мечта Веры или её родителей. Тут есть видео в 7 лет, где она говорит о кукле, которая хочет бросить балет.
Apollonessa NCR it’s more common compared to the recommended age of 11. My sister attended Bolshoi academy and many of her friends started pointe at around 6

Станцевала шикарно!! Немного не хватает выворотности. Для ее возраста это нормально. Главно правильно распрелилить нагрузку, чтобы потом не было проблем с ногами. Для ее возраста просто шикарно, молодчинка!!!!
Восхищались маленькой балериной, но сейчас Вера необыкновенно хороша. Есть шероховатости, наверное (слишком юная еще), но в она танцует, летает, а это сейчас редкость.
While this child is very good at dancing, and I certainly would not at all say that she does not have skills, I think the skills she is performing here are far beyond what her body is capable of doing without long term damage. I really hope that by performing this at such a young age doesn't have affects on her abilities as an adult.
@@DownhillAllTheWay There is a difference between what she is capable of given a lot of practice and what the BODY is capable of when not fully developed. My comment was never about her skill, it was about the pressure she has put on her body while it is still developing. That can cause long lasting damage that may/may not hurt her in the future. Not a skill concern at all. She's extraordinary. It's a health concern

What if she does damage to her feet,etc. and makes it harder to do later when she’s ready for that level of difficulty. It’s like people starting kids singing too young with difficult material, and make them need to push. It does permanent damage to the vocal cords, loss of higher range, nodes, etc. Prodigy’s are amazing, but often don’t last.
Aside from what the other comment just told you (that's correct) I'm also going to add that this variation wasn't good. She has a lot of technique issues and made the whole variation look bad, messy and forced. And a of those bad techniques could make her get a lot of injuries and even have an accident that could make her not be able to dance ever again. She wasn't prepared for doing this variation.
she is 14 now. she was expelled from vaganova Academy because she became too heavy and failed classic dance exam. she cannot jump, cannot rotate. she is very heavy, not ballet type at all.

Часто родители готовят детей к поступлению . Водят на художественную гимнастику, в танцевальные кол - вы . Некоторые берут частные уроки у проф . педагогов .

She was expelled from Vaganova because of the way her body developed. Last I knew she was studying back in Belarus. Don't know now.

Детство у девочки не сформировавшейся... кости, тело и ноги:пахать ежедневно часами в таком-то возрасте: не ставят на пуанты до 12÷13 лет.
Какой ужас! Пожалейте её! Изорудуют ребёнку безжалостно жизнь & здоровье своими личными амбициями безжалостно лишив радости детства именно родители от которых у нее пока что нет защиты.

Родители ограничивают развитие и жизнь растущего человека, превращая успех& радость в навязчивую идею уничтожающую возможность счастья и радости жизни в дальней перспективе.
Меня поставили на пуанты в 9 лет и убили стопы. Две оптопедических операции, по месяцу в гипсовых сапогах. Разошлись кости стоп, их ломали и формировали стопы заново.
К сожалению у вас так получилось. Лично я, занимаюсь профессионально художественной гимнастикой, а также балетом. Все нормально, травмы были минимальные.
За каждым талантливым ребенком стоит талантливый взрослый. А здесь этот взрослый ещё и очень смелый. Пусть у вас всё получится, дай Бог!

Way to young to dance on pointe. I don’t care if it’s diffrent in Russia but 8 is too early. Her bones haven’t really hardened and it can be really dangerous. She might have the strength but her young feet might not be ready for this!
@@gretaa7803 her legs haven’t hardened and are still sore and “molding” doing this could maybe change that. That’s is something no one wants. It’s easier to hurt yourself if you are still growing.

No. In Russia we know little girls shouldn't go en pointe! Anyone responsible does! It causes irreversible injuries. When I was 9 I had an irresponsible teacher and I when en pointe. Still doing ballet but I have injury prone knees and ankles. NEVER let a child under 10 EVER go en pointe.
Beautiful work, demonstates great strength and charm of smile. Concern 8 year old on point,so much growth to foot bones has yet to mature. Maybe times have change, amazingly beautiful.

What a beautiful young, very young performer! Her dancing has it All: technique, interpretation, incredible suppleness and leg extension. She will go far if her body is not overworked too much at a young age and her diet is good. It’s so important to build strong bones and cartilage. While I was amazed to see her on pointe shoes, I agree with other commentators here that it is too early for her to be en pointe unless her teachers are certain that her ankles, feet and legs have developed the strength to do so, and even so there’s the consideration of what the compression will do to the bone plates in each bone where growth originates etc. However, that aside, it is an amazing performance and was wonderful and uplifting to watch. I wish this lovely young lady every success in her future. 💕

румынская девочка заслужила одни восторги, она действительно феномен. А тут не столько злые, сколько справедливые. И на пуанты рано, и рассинхрон с музыкой очевиден. Маленькая еще, конечно, ей все простится. Но если уж ступила на трудный путь балетного искусства, то должна привыкать к его строгим требованиям. Иначе так "маленькой" и останется, до зрелости.

Amazingly beautiful turn out for an 8 year old. She should mature more so her skeletal system is strong enough and avoid injuries that could be devastating for her ballet career. Very promising ballerina.

А зачем в 5-6-8? Приём в Вагановку или МГАХ после 4го класса начальной школы т.е. как правило 10-11 лет, может 9 если раньше начальную школу закончили. Они не требуют предварительных занятий, смотрят только на тело, пропорции, подъём ноги, шаг (назад и вбок, учитель ноги подымает), гибкость, выворотность, прыжок, координацию и музыкальность. У них это на страницах написано. Посмотрите также "Танец Маленьких Лебедей", документальный фильм о приёме. Если природных данных нет, так хоть вариации в 8 лет танцевать, не поможет. Если всё есть, так есть шанс. Как я читала, сейчас многие приходят подготовленные, и тем, кто не занимался раньше в первый год тяжелее, но если не вылететь, так может всё хорошо быть. Занятия могут помочь с прыжком и гибкостью, но у некоторых это есть от природы. А пуанты раньше времени не к чему.
@Настя Кактус Они смотрят на природную гибкость, а дальше могут сами потом растянут, тут видео было, где делали это с девочкой, которой не хватало. Во всех хореографических академиях России принимают после окончания 4го класса при переходе в 5й, если ещё 11, но уже закончили 5й класс, так могут взять с потерей года, как взяли Олю в фильме Танец Маленьких Лебедей. Посмотрите сами условия приёма в Вагановке и МГАХе, есть на их страницах. Я читала детали просмотра на форуме учёба отзыв. Тур 1: смотрят форму (пропорции, фигуру, общий вид), подъём стопы, шаг (учитель подымает ногу вбок и назад), гибкость (учитель наклоняет назад), выворотность - учитель сажает в плие, прыжок, чувство ритма - повторить ритм, который учитель хлопает, координацию и музыкальность (девочек просят станцевать польку, мальчиков вроде бы марш, в фильме Танец Маленьких Лебедей, учитель учит девочку, которая не знает как, прямо там). Тур 2 - медицинский осмотр. Тур 3 - то же самое, что первый тур, но уже выбирают лучших. Ранние занятия могут помочь с растяжкой и прыжком, но есть те у кого это от природы. Как я читала, сейчас в основном приходят с предварительной подготовкой, некоторые приходят из спорта, чаще - художественной гимнастики, но если придёт совсем начинающая, но с хорошими природными данными, так они возьмут. Предварительная подготовка может помочь с гибкостью или прыжком, но у некоторых это есть от природы.
Начинают с нуля, но естественно тем, кто не занимался вначале тяжело. Тех, кто подготовлен, часто выбирают танцевать Машеньку или в па де труа в Щелкунчике ещё в первом классе, но это не так уж сильно влияет на будущее. Там главное - получить хорошие оценки на экзамене по классичекому танцу. Кстати, Мария Хорева занималась художественной гимнастикой до приёма в Вагановку.
А что касается ранних пуантов и взрослых вариаций, так сам Цискаридзе об этом отрицательно отзывался здесь тоже видео есть.

There are many of these gifted, dedicated young ballet dancers on TH-cam but I shudder when I watch. Can't someone invent some choreography suitable for 8 year old CHILDREN, which is what they are. This is the equivalent of watching 8 year olds sing about cheating lovers. Totally inappropriate, and I HOPE they don't know what the ballet/song is actually about at 8 years old. I agree with all the comments about it being so wrong that this child is already en pointe. She is clearly struggling with the advanced technique required of this piece and the fixed smile indicates that she is concentrating so hard on getting her extensions as extended as they possibly can be that she could not possibly be enjoying the experience. Childhood is about joy, not about trying to conquer a Variation that even seasoned ballerinas struggle with. These brilliant young dancers need to be directed towards less physically demanding choreography that still allows them to HAPPILY show their skills and is still lovely to watch without them having to 'climb mountains' before they have sufficient mountaineering strength, training and skills. Come on all you choreographers out there - here's the challenge! (and songwriters for the gifted children singers)

It's a complicated story of an alluring gypsy girl (who the 8 yo is trying to portray), a marriage of convenience, jilted fiancées, clerics attracted to said young gypsy girl, attempted murder, etc. But it all comes out well in the end. It is a ballet drama for adults.

no doubt that she's talented, but she's not getting fully over on the box of her shoe and that could really mess up the flexibility in her feet in the long run. also, when you're 8, most people's feet aren't done growing and it's insanely unsafe to be on pointe. when she went into the section where she was doing grande battement on pointe, you could really tell that her ankles weren't as steady as they should be. don't get me wrong, she is AMAZING for her age but it's really unsafe to be on pointe that young

Nobody should be on point until there at least 11 and it’s not A matter of how good you are it’s a matter of the development of your bones and health her parents and teachers should know this

She's a very talented dancer, don't get me wrong. Truly impressive! The last thing I want to be is a stick in the mud but, 8 years old and on pointe? Isn't that a bit young?
Pretty amazing for being that age! Although, as a trained ballet dancer myself, that started at eight years old, I predict that she will have multiple ailments by her twenties. And that's if she's lucky. Surgery will be necessary for her knees, hips, etc. moving forward, I'm afraid.

It doesn't look now like she'll have any career in ballet anyway. A couple of years after that video she was accepted to the Vaganova academy (whose rector had told her earlier to stop dancing adult variations, audition for the academy and start there from the beginning), but after 3 years there she was expelled for not having the right body. She transferred to the academy of choreography in Minsk, it was on her instagram, but then, she closed her instagram account. I don't know if it means she decided not to use instagram anymore or because she left ballet. Whatever happens, it just shows that these adult variations means zero for future. Now, Maria Bulanova and Lada Sartakova don't seem to have issues from starting early, neither has Ksenia Zhiganshina, but I guess for a few who succeed, there are many who either leave or, like you said, have problems later.
@@jewelmarkess I studied under the late Madame Marina Svetlova as a child. She accepted me at the age of eight because of my talents. But she emphasized to my parents that my bones were still growing (obviously), and that I was really too young! I'm also an exception, and have few issues. I.e., primarily lower back/hips. But I later trained with world renowned Madam Gabriela Darvash for many years. Psychologically and emotionally, she was incredibly abusive. But I have NEVER had an injury. I'm 57.
@@shmykiebransky4517 I see. It's really unclear what is going to happen with Vera given how her body developed. There is a video here of when she came to a Russian tv talent show where one of the judges was Nikolay Tsiskaridze where he told her to stop what she was doing, as I mentioned. He told the same thing to another little girl, Natasha Furman, also in a video here. At that time, there was a principal of the Bolshoi theater, Shipulina, in the audience. She said how at 9, she wasn't even thinking of being en pointe and the closest she got to the stage was in the audience of the Bolshoi and that was in spite of her parents being ballet dancers. To that Tsiskaridze replied "your parents would never have allowed you en pointe at 9." The others I mentioned are also here, but they are still pretty young. Zhiganshina, Bulanova and Sartakova started at a private studio in St Petersburg, Kuramshin's, which is somewhat notorious of putting kids en pointe early and having them perform in his theater. Zhiganshina left his studio at around 15 and got accepted to the 5th year at the Vaganova academy, she is now a soloist in Bolshoi. I believe she is 27. (edited) Lada left Kuramshin's studio at 10 or 11, got accepted to the first year at the Vaganova academy and started there from the beginning. Maria Bulanova's case is more interesting. She started at the VBA's pre-entry course at 9-10, got accepted a year later, but then expelled because she refused to leave Kuramshin's studio, continued to perform there and went to a competition. She got re-admitted later to the 6th year, graduated in 2018, now a soloist in Mariinsky. Lada graduated earlier this year and now at corps in Primorsky stage of the Mariinsky. I don't know if they have any health issues, but they are still young.

Charming but way too young to be on pointes and perform such a difficult ballet, children are not circus animals, they can burn themselves in such exercises. She is doing very difficult things but she is out of rhythm and it is normal ! The parents and school should protect her better ! She is adorable and I hope she is doing well now !

@@lanapetersen2287 Even at the Vaganova Ballet Academy (probably the world's most renowned ballet academy for Russian ballet) in St. Petersburg children don't start with pointe until around 11 years old. If you start a child at pointe this young you run danger of deforming the child's feet for life as children's bones are still so soft and moldable.

Yes. I am a dance teacher and have students who are 11 and 12 and just got en pointe. I sent them to Drs to get feet checked and to make sure growth plates have stopped growing first.

Yes she’s good and all but, she should not be en pointe at that age. 8? My studio makes us wait until we are 12 to even try for pointe let alone actually go on because we need to make sure our growth plates in out feet are fully developed to prevent injury. As well as being en pointe for 9 months before performing en pointe.

Пуанты запрещены в хореографических училищах до определённого возраста. Лично цискаридзе призывал родителей не калечить талантливых детей ранними пуантами.

Измотали ребёнка эти невозрастные вариации и конкурсы , до такой степени измотали, и , даже поступив в Академию Вагановой начать пришлось с нуля, и отчислили на второй год. Всему своё время.

@@Geddycorn This is either exploitation or sheer ignorance. Either way, she is the one who will be paying the price for it. So unfair.
It depends completely on the dancer, but you want them to be old enough for their feet to be mostly grown. 11-12 is the bare minimum...8 is far too young and it can screw up her feet for life. You can see her struggling with some of the moves and there's a few times she's not over her box. She would have looked even better in flats.

She is wonderful and so very talented, but isn't 8 is a little young to be en pointe? Her performance was excellent, it's just a little concerning.
Made my day! After a difficult few hours of pain I turned my iPad on and saw this beautiful little girl dancing ballet and it warmed my heart and for a while made me feel better....thank you sweetheart..love from the U.K.. X

A very talented child indeed, BUT wrong on so many levels. This performance show little care for the child physically or emotionally. The variation is a flirtation with certain sexual undertones. Why train an 8 year old child in this?

Моя младшая дочь учится в танцевальной школе. Нам разрешили пуанты только в 12 лет лет. Сейчас она готовит вариацию Купидона на конкурс. Ей 13, ноги устают, то одна косточка вспухнет, то другая...
Как родителям не жаль свою дочь? Если она повредит ноги в таком юном возрасте, то это просто поставит крест на всей ее танцевальной карьере...
В государственных академиях, как МГАХ и Вагановка, одевают пуанты во второй половине первого класса, т.е. приблизительно в 11. Здесь есть видео с конкурса Синяя Птица, где Цискаридзе ей говорит, что всему своё время, что нужно перестать танцевать взрослые вариации, поступить в академию, когда подойдёт срок, где она начнёт сначала. К сожалению, у неё испортилась фигура, и её через 3 года после поступления исключили. Потом в её инстаграм было, что она поступила в Беларусскую хореографическую гимназию-колледж, но сейчас она вообще закрыла инстаграм.

@@kamilyaagoshkova4292 Может чем-то и закончится. Она учится в Минске в хореографическом училище, а что будет дальше будет видно. Никто не может ничего сказать что выйдет из маленькой девочки. А что касается страстной любви к театру, так не понятно это мечта Веры или её родителей. Тут есть видео в 7 лет, где она говорит о кукле, которая хочет бросить балет.

Apollonessa NCR it’s more common compared to the recommended age of 11. My sister attended Bolshoi academy and many of her friends started pointe at around 6

Станцевала шикарно!! Немного не хватает выворотности. Для ее возраста это нормально. Главно правильно распрелилить нагрузку, чтобы потом не было проблем с ногами. Для ее возраста просто шикарно, молодчинка!!!!
Undoubtedly talented and cute but way too young for en pointe. How her body will develop and sustain that stress over the years is very questionable.
Восхищались маленькой балериной, но сейчас Вера необыкновенно хороша. Есть шероховатости, наверное (слишком юная еще), но в она танцует, летает, а это сейчас редкость.

While this child is very good at dancing, and I certainly would not at all say that she does not have skills, I think the skills she is performing here are far beyond what her body is capable of doing without long term damage. I really hope that by performing this at such a young age doesn't have affects on her abilities as an adult.

@@jourdanashley2245 The way she dances is the product of a LOT of practice. She was probably doing extraordinary moves for her age when she was five.
@@DownhillAllTheWay There is a difference between what she is capable of given a lot of practice and what the BODY is capable of when not fully developed. My comment was never about her skill, it was about the pressure she has put on her body while it is still developing. That can cause long lasting damage that may/may not hurt her in the future. Not a skill concern at all. She's extraordinary. It's a health concern

Beautiful dancing but I worry about an eight year old being en pointe at her young age while her bones are still soft.

I love how people are saying this is dangerous and not praising her for her well done performance
What if she does damage to her feet,etc. and makes it harder to do later when she’s ready for that level of difficulty. It’s like people starting kids singing too young with difficult material, and make them need to push. It does permanent damage to the vocal cords, loss of higher range, nodes, etc. Prodigy’s are amazing, but often don’t last.
Aside from what the other comment just told you (that's correct) I'm also going to add that this variation wasn't good. She has a lot of technique issues and made the whole variation look bad, messy and forced. And a of those bad techniques could make her get a lot of injuries and even have an accident that could make her not be able to dance ever again. She wasn't prepared for doing this variation.
I don't know a lot about ballet, but this little looked so graceful and she kept smiling, I say bravo!! ❤
8 years old is too young to be on pointe. Her body is not strong enough yet. I shudder to think of how she was trained.
she is 14 now. she was expelled from vaganova Academy because she became too heavy and failed classic dance exam. she cannot jump, cannot rotate. she is very heavy, not ballet type at all.

В училище принимают уже подготовленных танцовщиц...Дети учатся в кружках, студиях, школах...
В училище принимают с 10 лет .
Часто родители готовят детей к поступлению . Водят на художественную гимнастику, в танцевальные кол - вы . Некоторые берут частные уроки у проф . педагогов .
Девочке лет 12, но это не гасит восторга от её выступления.
