Bought this bike in June last year. Here's my perspective as a 6'1", 101 kg rider(with gear). > This is NOT an off-roader, so please don't buy it with the intention of going off the beaten path. Flat mud roads should be fine. > This bike has a 10% speedo error. E.g. If the speedo shows 100 kph, you're actually doing 90 kph. > At 835 mm, this bike is best for riders above 5'7", provided you get handlebar risers which is a must-have mod for this bike. > Fuel tank is just a measly 12 liters, which gives a real world range of 350 kms before the fuel light starts blinking. > Headlights are OK for clear weather, but best to get aux lights in case of less than perfect conditions at night. > Brakes are moderately OK but pads wear out after 5000 km. > Suspension is stiff, but levels out if you load it with luggage/pillion. > For those who buy this bike and want to go touring solely on paved roads, you'll get better performance, handling and mileage by switching to road tires from the RE meteor(100/90-19 F & 140/70-17 R). > If anyone can find a 14 tooth front sprocket that will fit the V-Strom SX(stock is 13T), let me know or add the link in the comments section.
I can vouch for it that any bike can do offroad and this handles offroad decently. The suspension travel definitely improves comfort but in my rides I haven't felt it bottom out yet. I feel everyone is being manipulated by companies amd reviewers falsely saying stuff that we can and can't do, when in reality we see splendor and scooty taken to xpulse territory and people having fun. Just saying. Great bike though. Agree with other points.
I own V-Strom 250 sx and I can say this is the most honest review I have seen. Vibration issue with V-Strom and Gear shifting issue is real and can be really annoying.
Mare bike ko 2.5 month huha hay mrea experience kup ach hay ye bike ko lekey our 4200km complete huha hay bhot achi hay bike top speed 145 to 148 ATI hay our of rod 60km continue Kara tha usmey bhi bhot achi hay bike ki achy ki biya nhi Kiya ja sakth❤
I own this bike, personally I face 2 problems after 8000km 1) handel bar issue : no doubt handel bar is wide but it's pull to left side 2) headlight : only throw I can see but illumination is not good. I think access 125 has best illumination.
engine performance is good no doubt, you can pull the bike at higher gear. they have a option for a seat for short height but optional seat foam is not good. it's reduce the height from 835mm to 810mm but it's not worthy.
I have been riding this bike for more than 11k kilometres... Get your back checked... Probably you have some major disorders... Mine back is extremely fine and I'm happy with he riding triangle too

I don't have any issues with gear shifting. Actually its awesome when I do clutchless shift. Clutch requires little effort compared to my old R15.

Hi, aapko koi vibration issue hua hai 3000-3500 rpm ke upar?
I own this bike, personally I face 2 problems after 8000km
1) handel bar issue : no doubt handel bar is wide but it's pull to left side
2) headlight : only throw I can see but illumination is not good. I think access 125 has best illumination.
Both are normal manageable problem
How is the low seat option for short height?
