- This is Part 2 of my basics series. Last time we learned how to set the conditioning to the whole scene, time to see how to make localized changes.
I'm also talking about LCM, Math Nodes and other big and small tricks! As always do let me know what you think and if I should keep releasing "basics" tutorials or you prefer more advanced stuff.

After learning about conditioning in part-1 I started using them more. Now it's area composition and outpaintings.

Yes, really great stuff that lets us understand the inner core of comfy. This is definitely the most useful Comfy channel I've found.
It’s very cool that you are not in a hurry to move on to more complex things, the power of ComfyUI lies in a very deep understanding of the basic staff. On automatic 1111 you are limited by the UI. In the ComfyUI, thanks to understanding the basics, you can solve much more complex tasks. That’s why the most useful series of your videos is about the base staff

I just think that everything is better with nodes.... texturing, rigging, AI...
To anyone finding it had to keep up, there's no shame in putting it on 0.5x speed and rewinding like 15 times until it's clear.

Exactly, as I sometimes consider myself a fast learner, but this video still took me 4 hours, with times of rewind

Most other SD tutorial videos I've watched just go "do this, do that, _et voila!_ " but don't always explain much about why they chose the particular way they did, & don't demonstrate contrasting approaches & show the pros & cons. Others also only seem to cover the basics of the basics, but frequently leave me feeling like I'm missing something. Your videos have been filling in some integral gaps for me. Thank you!
I know this is fast for many (definitely me included) but Matteo has thoughtfully timecoded this with the relevant chapters, pause & replay will win the day, don't forget you can also change playback speed. Thank you Matteo

I really appreciate your comfyui tutorials. After struggling with so many 'copy-and-pray' videos, yours are a breath of fresh air. You explain the reasoning, I feel confident playing around and making things my own. You've really helped me level up my skills
These tutorials are pure gold and will be extremely helpful for beginners as well as advanced users🥇 - The outtakes are a nice touch.
I absolutely love your teaching style. You cover everything in your given topic in such a straightforward manner, but also (and just as important), you also sneak in tons of additional information along the way.
For example, talking about the difference between converging and non-converging samplers. You just casually show the difference between SDE and other sampling methods (which is not even the topic of this tutorial).... and meanwhile, my mind gets blown a little bit and now I am starting to figure out when and why to change samplers on top of everything else I just learned. Wow. Thank you Matteo!
IMO, you make the best tutorials on ComfyUI. I check back weekly, if not daily, to see if you've produced a new one. I can understand how these can eat up a large amount of your time. You need an apprentice.
Wisdom on rapid fire. My brain is red hot from so many neurons hit with your knowledge. Keep it coming.

Thank you! I've always been frustrated and had poor results with these basic ComfyUI tools. Seeing how to correctly apply them and add in advanced techniques is really helping me improve my abilities and understanding.
