VMware Integrated OpenStack Architecture & Components | vSphere

Learn about VMware's Integrated OpenStack architecture and components. There is a perception that OpenStack has some challenges with stability at scale and general Day 2 operations. Data Architects may be able to get the OpenStack framework and open source infrastructure working in a PoC, but when it comes time to actually turn it over to the operations team, there are natural challenges if the infrastructure is new to those teams. This presentation explains the openness of the OpenStack framework and discusses how to achieve stability in your OpenStack deployment at scale. VMware VIO leverages vSphere and NSX to provide stable compute, network, and storage virtual infrastructure for your OpenStack private cloud. In addition to the stability that our infrastructure products can provide, there are also enormous operations benefits with vRealize Operations, Log Insight, and vRealize Business which assist in critical to day 2 operations.
